I stayed for one month in the guesthouse. It's the right place for recreation and relaxation, away from all the noise and hazzle of the tourist spots and their exagerated prices . Genevieve Guesthouse offers a very peaceful environment and Jenny and Klaus are doing their utmost to make your stay really enjoyable. Long or short stay, the kitchen is very well equipped. The experience here did not only meet my expectations, it did outperform them. It's only a short walk to the beach with clear water and fine sand. You will need a motorbike or scooter, renting one is very affordable in Siquijor. Shopping is best done in Lazi, two ATM are available in Maria town proper.

The place is great, quiet and peaceful. Great for relaxation. The host/ owners are very accommodating. Their place has electricity already and a backup generator. Nothing to worry about the effect of typhoon, they are ready to serve.

We really like the place , cozy and comfy , The staffs are so helpful and friendly. The only i have a problem , slow to response when i asked something, it took few days to reply. In my last message , never reply. We arrived 1pm the check in is 2 pm . They never considerate the 1 hr early. We should wait until 2 otherwise we should leave our stuff in the bar. Which we dont like. But all in all , was great to stay coz the place is cozy and comfy.

I found Vincent to be quite pleasant and easy to deal with. The house was very nice but be careful if you bring a car as the driveway is rough. Would I rent here again? Yes!

Louie Jude’s place is perfect for couples and small family of 3-4. Check in is easy although it could be a challenge to some since you need to walk maybe at least 250-300m from the main road to the property. The place is very private and away from tourists so you get to enjoy the beach all to yourselves. The sunset is right in front of the beach house 💯. It looked exactly in the pictures. There’s is no HD TV as what is listed in the amenities but who needs it if you’re there 🤷🏻‍♂️ Wifi is great since it’s Starlink which is awesome. Blackouts are common due to power outages but there is a working generator. Caretakers were very friendly and took care of our needs (they fixed the locks at the back door) during our stay. Overall, this place is highly recommended. Would love to come back!

My daughter loved the flower room cottage at a glance, very clean, and it was unexpected without mosquitoes!The balcony is our favorite place to stay, we can have tea and chat, the host provided a small boat to play, the sea view is very beautiful and very clean!

The place is spacious and clean. It would fit a big group. Appliances and equipment are complete if you plan on cooking. The caretaker Jeje was very responsive and hands-on with all our request. Our stay was great and the place feels homey. Thanks!

Nice little 2br accommodation. Bed was very clean and had a very comfortable mattress. Netflix worked great. Nice big fridge and freezer. Plenty of soap, paper towels, pots and pans, kitchen fully equipped. Large bottled water dispenser so you will never need to buy water. Check your distances to where you want to spend your time. A bit far from the main shopping malls. It’s a great place to enjoy cooking and the patio. There is a BBQ and table and chairs outside. The photos represent the place well. Shower water heater worked perfectly as did the AC. If you need a 2BR this is great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The host was responsive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to stay.

Great base for a stay in Bohol. Michael was responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

We were a group of seven with my teenager nephews nieces as we went around the beautiful island province of Bohol. We really liked the spacious, very clean accommodation at Maricel's place. We highly recommend this place especially if you are a group and want a private, quiet place after a day's tour. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and private cabins, I was really hesitant to stay here and I am glad I chose to stay at Savi’s place. Big cabins that reminded me to Mexico, fully equipped kitchen (with microwave!), complementary drinking water was provided, tv with a fair amount of channels and games/books were were also provided. At first I thought it was a shared cabin but the cabin (all what you see in the pictures) is for you, I think is good enough for up to 4 pax It’s in between cities so I recommend renting a motorbike, but public transportation is easy to get, just give out look for a bus and go up to Valencia or down to Dimaguete. The nearest convenience store was 15 min walking, although there’s some family-run stores near by Savi was helpful and communicative, it took a time to get responses (6 hours or so) but she did respond my inquires. Thank you Savi and staff

As for the place, I have given it 5 stars. It was very clean, the aircondition is working well. Although it tends to be hotter when you cook but you just have to open the windows or as we have done, we opened the door. The place is gated for added security and it has CCTV installed making it more secured. As for the host, Angel, she was very helpful. We asked her to arrange our van pick-up from the airport and everything went well. We asked her for some things in the place and she was able to give it right away. We really enjoyed our stay!
