Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Nara

We had a fantastic stay in Kyoto as a family of four. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the train station and 7-11, which made getting around and grabbing essentials super easy. The house itself had so much space, with separate upstairs and downstairs areas, and the deep spa bath was a real treat after long days exploring. The tech throughout the house was impressive and made everything really convenient. Most of all, our host was absolutely lovely—going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend!

A beautiful, authentic Japanese home. This was such a cool experience to stay in a house like this while in Japan. Beautiful garden, and a very large shower room, it felt like a spa! The host let us drop our luggage off before check in which was super helpful. Only minor inconvenience is that the main bedroom did not fully cool down, so it stayed warm in there. Overall, completely recommend and if we come back to Kyoto we will stay again!

The house offers an authentic experience of a traditional Japanese home. Spacious, has spaces for guest room, living room, kitchen, bedroom, storage, dressing and a cute little backyard. Loved the bathroom amenities and enjoyed the bathing tub. The hosts were very kind and waited for us to arrive. They welcomed us in and walked us through all the amenities and operations in the house. They also showed us bus routes to all the popular Kyoto spots laid out on a map. They even provided a bike for our grocery runs etc. Everything we ended up needing was in the house, like umbrellas, full-length mirror, extra stools, washer-dryer. The backyard is smoking-friendly. Overall, very happy that we decided to stay at this property.

Our group of 3 couples loved staying at Patrick and Akiko's house. It was an excellent combination of traditional Japanese with modern amenities. We especially appreciated the separate living area with couches where we could sit, hang out and discuss our adventures from the day. The hosts also provided some tea for people to enjoy. The hosts shared places to visit and local restaurants, which was very thoughtful. The laundry was a little confusing, but we eventually figured it out. The house is very conveniently located near a train station, allowing us to go out on day trips to Himeji castle, Kobe and Osaka. 2 of the rooms have Western-style raised beds, and the 3rd room had Japanese futon matresses. Umbrellas were also provided for use during our stay. Patrick and Akiko clearly put a lot of thought into their guests. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful apartment, in a very traditional style. Very clean and quiet place! You feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The host is very friendly and prompt with assistance if needed. Recommend A+!

This place was wonderful. All of items were modernized. Especially I enjoyed taking a bath. It felt like almost you have your own hot spring at your home. I loved it. Everything was clean and new. It was excellent!! We didn’t want to leave.

Great place to stay, close to Kyoto station. The fact that it's a short distance to popular neighbourhoods is no problem as there is a direct bus and subway (and Kyoto is great to explore by bike). The accommodation is beautiful in Japanese style, and easy to find with the proper instructions. The authentic bathroom is a great touch.

Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Great walkable location for us. Would 100% recommend. The host gave us lots of local recommendations and we even managed to catch a local festival because of it.

House was great, lots of rooms and ensuite bathrooms in each room. Clean and tidy with amenities in all the bathrooms. The only downside would be that there is no manual and dryer, although there is a clothes line on the top floor. Kitchen easy to use with the necessary equipment.

Lovely stay in Ieno house. Really beautiful and homely and the outdoor tub/ onsen was lovely. Area wise it’s nice and quiet with cafes as you walk around. Theres a bus stop about 7minutes walk and a subway maybe 8 minutes walk so it’s nicely connected. The bedding was comfortable as well. We found lots of plant based breakfast places around the area too. Honestly love Kyoto and this place as a base was a perfect balance for us.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be referring friends and family who are looking for a place to call home on their travels here. Extremely clean and tidy, very spacious. The host and staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The greeting upon arrival and walk through of things was 10/10 incredible service. There is nothing I could fault about this stay. Very quiet location and convenient, close enough to Nara Deer Park as well as restaurants and surrounding cities. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We are a family of six and I must say that this was the best experience that we have ever had. This is a nice peaceful and walkable location. The host spoiled us with many amenities including fresh fruit, snacks, candies, drinks, etc upon arrival. The kids even had a gaming system to use as well as practice their piano lessons. This is a spotless and adorable house with balconies that have a wonderful view of the tower. Very close to shoping districts. We enjoyed our walk to Dotonburi and passed through multiple shopping areas as recommended by the host. There is so much good to mention about this house that I'm lost for words. If you don't stay here, you are missing out on a great experience. We will stay at this location again. Thank you for the wonderful experience for me my wife and for kids. They will always remember this trip

Comfortable and pleasant accommodation, highly recommend this clean, quiet and spacious homestay, suitable for large families.The host responded quickly and communicated smoothly; it was raining when we arrived, and the host took the initiative to pick us up at the station and take us to the B&B, thank you very much. The B&B is 8-10 minutes walk from Tianxia Chayu Station, located in a quiet neighborhood.Close to shopping streets, restaurants, izakayas, cosmetics stores, lifestyle supermarkets, convenience stores, snack stalls, everything is available, very convenient. The house has three floors, as described, clean and comfortable.Tatami room on the first floor, kitchen and living room on the second floor, 3 bedrooms on the third floor, a total of two bathrooms, one bathroom, enough space for activities, everyone can relax in the living room and have fun.Thank you for your kind hospitality!

It was organized and tidy; with ample amenities that made our stay comfortable. We brought two cars; one parked at the house and another one was parked near the house (paid carpark). It was convenient for us since we arrived at night. The house was also located in a very cosy neighbourhood, so it was so pleasing to the eyes. A recommended stay 👍🏼

We used it for offsite Mtg of the company. It's a very private space. A team of 6 people can have a Mtg in the room. We also had a warm and welcoming stay outside at the BBQ. They came to pick us up at the meeting point. He was kind enough to guide and guide the accommodation, and carefully taught how to use it. I think we had a really great time staying here.Thank you!!!

🏠The house looks exactly like the photos. I stayed here with 6 people, and everything was perfect not crowded at all. The facilities and appliances were clean, as if the house had just been renovated and opened for guests. 📍Great location, close to Tengachaya Station. It’s just a short walk not tiring at all. There are convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Lawson nearby. Next to Tengachaya Station, there’s a small shopping mall called Qanat Mall, where you can find fresh food, groceries, ready-to-eat meals, all at affordable prices. It’s very convenient to stop by there before heading to the house. 👨🏼‍💻The host was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Very flexible with check-in. Since I arrived early at 12:00 PM, I asked to leave my luggage before check-in time. The house was already ready, so the host kindly allowed me to check in early. Excellent service!
