Cottage holiday rentals in Nagano

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

The cottage is located behind the hotel in a quiet location. You can't enter through the back entrance in winter because it is snowy, so you have to go around the outside through the snow to the main entrance. In itself no problem but if you just come out of the warm onsen a little too bad. The onsen was not the most clean and had two warm pools, one inside and one outside. All in all, we were very satisfied as the room was very spacious, bright and warm.

The cottage itself might not be traditional Japanese architecture but the inside definitely is. Taller people could experience some issues but it's manageable with a little care. The kitchen is well equipped but the space is limited and if you prepare a lot of dishes at the same time, it's quite annoying. Would definitely recommend to use a rental car because you can access most restaurants and supermarkets within a couple minutes, as by foot, it can be a real pain to walk every time you need something. Overall a nice experience and would definitely recommend for larger groups up to 6 people.

Great house for me and my 6 friends. Walking distance to the town, roughly 10 minutes Rubbish was always grabbed if put in the outside bin. Great communication Host come and cleaned house half way through our stay and also restocked towels and kitchen

Alex and Rie are kind and considerate hosts and Thunderbird Cottage is a great base for skiing around Hakuba with a family / group. The car with ski rack is a big advantage for getting around to ski resorts and restaurants / shops. The cottage and car together are good value if you are looking for a peaceful environment that’s close to everything you need. Alex and Rie provided very helpful info that assisted our plans in and around Hakuba.

My husband and I stayed one night.It was just around the time to see the autumn leaves, and it was a very calm environment with a colorful autumn leaves around the area. It was really perfect for relaxing away from the city, and I slept for the first time in a long time.The outside terrace was also large, and the breakfast in the beautiful air was exceptional. The dishes and futons are also very clean.We'd love to stay again for our consecutive holidays.

We loved it. The house is huge, well equipped and everything was clean. You do need a car but it’s easy to get around. Ryo communicated extremely well (in English) and gave great recommandations. We would go back again.

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience! The accommodation was very clean and spacious, perfect for two people. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom was also nicely maintained. While the location is in a residential area and not close to major tourist spots, I found this to be a plus for a peaceful and quiet stay. Having a car made it easy to explore the surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

Patrick was always very responsive and helpful even he was note in Hakuba by that time when we were staying . The place is clean, comfortable and with a well equipped kitchen. The cottage is located in a convenient location, close to many restaurants and all local amenities. We were quite enjoyed in our stay and will definitely consider to come back again.

The cottage was in a perfect location and within walking distance from plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as the shuttle bus stops. Vaughan and Mayumi have equiped the cottage with everything you could possibly need to make you feel at home. Would absolutely look to book here again if we ever make it back to Hakuba.

I stayed to go to Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Resort, but it was close to the ski resort and convenient, and it was a very beautiful place to stay.

The house as well as the experience was amazing, it is much more beautiful than the photos. It’s one of the most beautiful renovated Japanese homes I’ve been in. The hosts are really friendly and helpful to give us recommendations which made our trip so enjoyable. If I travel to Gifu again I’d definitely stay again!

Hütte Boden is a cozy cottage nestled in the mountains near Mt Asama. The views of the mountains across were incredible from the porch on a clear sunny day. It has a good access to Karuizawa and Kusatsu Onsen (if one has a car). The host was very kind and friendly. She had neatly organized all the recommendations into files. The place was very cozy and we had an amazing time. She was also very considerate, with us forgetting the check out time. Definitely recommend this place for a mini vacation near Karuizawa.

Homely feeling cute cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but a 8min walk right into the heart of it! Close to cafes/restaurant’s/bus stops/bars and food trucks. Everything is provided, and Takeshi responds to all our questions in a professional manner. Would stay again!

I stayed to feel the nature. There are plenty of relaxing spots around, and I was able to enjoy them! I am very happy that Ms. Anna contacted me closely from the reservation stage, and that I was able to take a little time on the day to talk about my future dreams and future plans, and that I was able to make a new connection! This room was a very charming place to stay, renovated and modernized in a historic vacation home.There was enough space and facilities to stay with 2 adults, 2 preschoolers and a small dog.The interior was very clean.Recommended for similar members.It is important to note that you need to drive a little on the dirt road from the paved road to the room, and it is not too casual to access the surrounding facilities listed with the photos of the room.
