Holiday rentals with breakfast in Nagano

It was smooth and flexible from the exchange of messages in advance, and the room and kitchen were stylish, clean, and we had a comfortable stay.Breakfast, such as handmade carrot soup from ingredients, dressing, jam, and rice flour bread made by the neighbors, was packed with not only delicious, but also heartfelt warmth.🫶 Personally, it was a valuable opportunity to become more interested in permaculture, organic vegetables, and fair trade.It was fun to hear Yoko's experience, including Australia, and I heard personally what I was thinking about, and it was nice to come all the way from Saitama! In the summer season, where vegetables and other vegetables are grown in the fields, I can also climb mountains and I look forward to visiting again.☺️🌿

I stayed with 6 people. We had a very good time checking in and checking out smoothly. The place was also close to the station, which was a car this time, but there was plenty of parking and very accessible. If you get another chance, thank you!

It was a guest house created by renovating a detached house.The first floor was a cafe-like space, and there was a large room to stay on the second floor.This room had two double beds and a sofa set.I was the only guest on the day I stayed, so I used the entire first and second floors.The bath and toilet were new and clean.The manager (the owner's mother) lives in a separate room, and I was relieved that she came immediately when I pressed the buzzer.It was close to the station, and it was nice to have a tavern nearby that served horse meat and local sake.I was traveling alone on a bike, and after riding the famous touring course in Nagano, Venus Line, I stayed here.There was also a free parking lot right next to this facility.The outdoor parking lot was not paved, so we laid a flat stone under the bike stand to use it.I had no problem at all.The manager was very kind and provided various conveniences, which was very helpful.

A beautiful family and a beautiful house. Yusuke and his parents were exceptionally thoughtful and kind during my two-night stay in their home. My guest quarter was private, spacious, very tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean with a wonderful view of a rock garden that I was able to enjoy from a super comfortable armchair. The breakfast prepared by Yusuke's mum was plentiful and very tasty and it provided the required fuel for my Nakasendo trail walk... Yusuke and his dad kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the station and when I ate out, which was very helpful. I highly recommend this accommodation, which was one of the highlights of my trip.

Saiko-san really cares about her guests. she was very welcoming when I needed to make a last minute booking and the room was just what I wanted. Saiko-san provides breakfast for everyone in the morning and obviously takes pride in ensuring that he guests are comfortable and have had a good night's sleep.

Thank you Machiko for hosting us and sharing tips on where to catch a great view of Mount Fuji. The view was amazing, and we also got to walk around the village to see some cultural places. Machiko also explained all the house rules well, and since it is a rather old house, there are some things to take note of like the water heater. She let us used to kitchen to make meals too, appreciate it! Her cat is super friendly too. Loved the overall vibe of staying there!

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at Wakana's for a few nights. The rooms show signs of time (as it says in the description) but it is clean. There was everything we needed including delicious food <3. It was cozy and thanks to the kindness of the owners we felt very well taken care of. We would love to come back to this place again and we recommend it.

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

Justin place was well equipped with all of the needs that would helps you have a great stay. From cooking utensils to oil, salt and pepper to netflix. Having towels and soap is something i would always expect at most accommodation but cooking your own meal made my stay nice and a break from restaurant food. I would highly recommend staying.

Yuu-san welcomed me for the New Years holidays even though I made a reservation in the last moment. He and his family are very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed exploring the traditional New Year's meals and the musical selection every morning :) This artistic home is in a peaceful countryside area and great if you need to disconnect and find your creativity. Thank you for your hospitality!

My wife and I stayed at Bears lodge for our ski trip to Hakuba and had a really great experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond picking us up and dropping us off at the bus terminal on arrival and departure. I would describe this home as a bed and breakfast style stay. You will be around others in closer proximity than you would a hotel but everyone is separated for their privacy with lockable rooms and plenty of space (considering you’re in Japan). We also used the TA-Q-BIN delivery service to send our skis which they graciously accepted before our arrival and had them waiting for us in our room. The lodge is also very conveniently located in the center of echoland with plenty of walkable restaurants and bars around as well as in very close proximity to the bus stops that pick you up and drop you off right at the base of whichever mountain you are looking to ski that day. There’s also a secure dry room for skis.

Great location and in walking distance to Happo village. Shuttle bus to nearby slopes and staff very friendly and helpful.

Honestly, such an amazing and warm place. The authenticity is so strong. Seeing the history of the family and the connection to the sports is a delight. The calmness of the region was very mindful and we loved the host. Such a nice family, very kind and just perfect. Thank you for the stay.

Seong Mi and Yoshi are the best ! They really take care of their hostel as well as their hosts. They gave me plenty of recommendations and advices. They also made sure I had everything I needed. I felt very welcoming here ! The room is perfect for a stay in Yudanaka. Their partnerships with Onsens around are a great way to enjoy different baths. In my opinion, it's even better than having their own Onsen inside the hostel. All the shared spaces are clean and well furnished. It's the perfect place to enjoy a traditional woodhouse. The location is also great, close by foot to the convenience store, drugstore, local restaurants and to the train station / bus hub. It makes it easy to go to any major spot in the area, from Nagano city center to the hiking trails / ski centers of Shiga Kogen. Just book it here and enjoy a peaceful time in Yudanaka 🙏

I can’t imagine how my ski trip would be if I didn’t stay at their place

This little place is a gem and the hosts are amazing! Though you can’t ski in/out, the hosts will give you a lift to any resort for the day and pick you up. They can also drive you to the restaurants in Akakura town. You can even order dinner in and the food was delicious! I would stay here again if I was visiting the area in the future.

It was a very pleasant stay, the owner was very nice, gave us a good introduction, the bag broke, and we also lent us the needle thread.If you come to Karuizawa, please come to Akiko!
