Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Na h-Eileanan an Iar

This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in the world- it’s at the far end of sky - just a few working farms, converted vacation homes, artists and mostly sheep. The views are absolutely amazing. Rain or shine, the sun room offers amazing views. You can walk right out of the home on one of the most amazing hikes continuing to Neist point. The house was extremely comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Everything was first class. There was even a wonderful gift basket with some delightful treats. Washer dryer, and other appliances worked well and the shower was excellent. We did not try the hot tub, but it looked nice. The grounds were also beautiful. It worked extremely well for my wife and I and my two senior parents. There’s so much to do nearby, but we didn’t want to leave. Spent five nights in May. Glendale nearby has all the necessary amenities. A fun place to spend a week, would definitely come back! Truly, a hidden treasure.

I cannot recommend Sally’s AirBnB highly enough. The location is superb, so peaceful with views out to the harbour from the private garden and the private parking was a god send. The house is spacious and has everything you need and Portree is a great base for exploring Skye and the Highlands and Islands. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was worth every penny! Sally is a great host, easy to get a hold of and sorts things out quickly.

Absolutely lovely little cottage in the most beautiful surroundings- view of a waterfall, loch below and sheep with lambs just outside the gate. Great spot for a sunset and to just relax listening to the birdsong. The cottage was perfectly clean and fully equipped with absolutely everything you could need for self catering. Modern yet traditional - the perfect balance. A lovely additional touch of local gifts much appreciated. Although a little off the beaten track it was the perfect haven after a day exploring all the incredible sights Skye has to offer. We wouldn't change a thing and hope to return!

Alec was immensely kind to recommend an alternative route from Skye because of change of ferry service. I updated him with my whereabouts and he and his wife were at the front garden waiting for us to arrive safely. He made us very welcome to his immaculate property ...the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in several all over the world. There is even a summer house in the back garden too. The property was as clean as my own house; equipped with every appliance we needed. This was more than an Airbnb - it was a cosy home from home. Thank you Alec and your wife, Fiona. I really loved this rental. It was peaceful, and had spectacular views of Portree and the surrounding landscape. Lovely, quiet, clean, and scenic views from every window and skylight. I actually really appreciated too that all windows and skylights had darkening shades. Very important since it was bright out well into the night and early in the morning.

Perfect location for enjoying Portree and exploring the spectacularly beautiful Isle of Skye! You can even walk to some outstanding hikes right from the house! Restaurants and groceries a short walk away.

We used Evelyn's place as a base for exploring the Northern part of Skye. The view and sense of space were worth every penny. When it was warm sitting on top of the hill behind the house was a great viewpoint and when it was too cold to sit outside the view from the main room was brilliant. Iain and Ingrid were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Their place is a lovely, peaceful oasis. The cabin was pristinely clean, charming and cozy, and the gardens full of flowers and birds made us feel that we were living in a fairy tale! Their place is close to lots of outdoor activities. We are already planning our next stay.

We had a fantastic couple of nights in the Glenview Garden Studio! It was super easy to find, and Kirsty had even left out some granola and chocolate chip cookies for us, which were greatly appreciated after a long drive up! She was super responsive and helpful, and it was an extra treat to be able to shop at Shilasdair Yarns, the little yarn shop that they also run. The room was really comfortable - great to have a toaster, microwave, and fridge for convenience, and it was a fantastic location for exploring Skye (close to some great hikes and not far from Portree) - my only complaint is that we didn't book a longer stay! Would highly recommend this spot.

Mary’s place was the best choice for us! After a busy day, it was nice to return to a pastoral place to sit, rest and sleep. It is an easy walk to the centre of Portree and takes just about 10 minutes to get there. I have OA but was able to walk there and back several times- slow and steady but certainly do-able. Mary came by just after we arrived to check on things and it was nice to meet her and have a quick chat. The location is gorgeous- you can see country from the windows and no buildings or noise at all to contend with. Mary’s place is has new amenities and is bright and cheery. Strongly recommend this place to stay on Skye!

The views from our living room during our stay in Dunvegan were absolutely amazing. Jennifer was always available to help us if we had any questions. i fully recommend this location to anyone who is thinking of staying in Dunvegan.

The apartment was great and had everything we need. Not only, it had incredible views and was well located in relation to the town, with restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. It was a great place to base ourselves as we explored the rest of Isle of Skye. Karen was a great host and provided all the necessary information, adding to the wonderful stay.

Linda’s place was perfect! The pictures didn’t do justice. The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and the location is super. You can walk to everything. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes and utensils. There are spices, oil and a variety of supplies probably left by former guests, like pasta, some canned goods, jam, and condiments. These are so helpful when preparing meals. Parking was easy on the street.Linda was very responsive and checking in was easy. This is a terrific place. If it’s available, grab it! Highly recommend!

Lovely peaceful setting out in the country, reminded me of home. Mairi and Harry were easy to get along with and helpful on what to see and do. Highly recommend this place.

The Huff Hoose is by far our favorite b&b to date. The location is so serene and peaceful and the views and gardens are beautiful! It was just the right distance from town, not too close not too far. Joe is the ideal host. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I want to gate keep him and his home because we loved it so much. Alas, that’d be bad for business. 100% recommend Joe and the Huff Hoose.

The flat was exactly what we needed for an extra unexpected week in Stornoway. Amy was really helpful throughout. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

This was our favorite place in all of our stays in Scotland. Location was very convenient to Portree. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The table by the window had a pleasant view and was great for morning coffee and getting set for the day. Rachel was very quick to answer out questions and she was a lovely host.

Lovely modern accommodation, more spacious than the photos suggest. Big comfy bed and good shower. Lovely views and easy to park right outside the door. Sheena was a fantastic host who was really helpful when my ferry was cancelled. Would highly recommend as a base for seeing the Islands.

We loved Mary Flora’s place - it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Mary Flora was so lovely and provided us wonderful hospitality. We used the kitchen a lot and loved the stainless steel cookware. We really appreciated that the cookware was great quality. The bed was so comfortable. The shower had great pressure and was hot immediately. Thank you Mary Flora. I would recommend her place to everyone and would stay here again if we come back to Skye.

This was a fantastic place to stay - a haven at the end of a busy day. Much thought has been put into extra touches - treats in the fridge and cupboards, dressing gowns, high quality linen - and the outlook over Loch Lada is beautiful. The well equipped kitchen lends itself to cooking in. The appliances are new and we appreciated the supplies of washing powder and dishwasher tabs. We loved everything about this place!

This place is fantastic, super cozy, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more!). Sheila was always quick to respond to our questions and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend it

Owlsnest provided the perfect space for our first visit to Skye. The living space is finished to a high standard and has everything you need. The garden and surroundings are so peaceful and quiet. Karen and Phil were great hosts. Friendly and helpful, ensuring we had what we needed for our stay.
