Holiday rentals with beach access in Na h-Eileanan an Iar

We had a fantastic couple of nights in the Glenview Garden Studio! It was super easy to find, and Kirsty had even left out some granola and chocolate chip cookies for us, which were greatly appreciated after a long drive up! She was super responsive and helpful, and it was an extra treat to be able to shop at Shilasdair Yarns, the little yarn shop that they also run. The room was really comfortable - great to have a toaster, microwave, and fridge for convenience, and it was a fantastic location for exploring Skye (close to some great hikes and not far from Portree) - my only complaint is that we didn't book a longer stay! Would highly recommend this spot.

We had a wonderful stay - everything was in perfect condition and exactly as described. The kitchen is well laid out and functional, and we loved all the natural light from the windows and skylights. Dorothy was a lovely host and highly communicative. We thought the location was convenient about 5 minutes away from Broadford and 35 minutes from Portree. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in the annexe - which is actually a lovely one bedroom house. It was immaculate when we arrived and we loved the furnishings. The shower was great - double shower with rainforest shower head. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept so well. Lighthouse and lovely beach just along the road but there are glorious beaches all over the island - stunning! Highly recommend Joanne’s ‘annexe’ which was just lovely to head back to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. Thank you for letting us stay 😁

We had a lovely stay in this little gem of Cheryl and Stephen! Everything was as described and check in was easy. You have everything you need and even a laundry room. The ocean view is amazing and Breakish as a starting point for Skye and Hiking was just perfect. Thank you!

Beautiful, comfortable room in a castle! Lovely luxurious break from camping. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Great for exploring Stornaway for a night. Wished we stayed longer!

Its remote, and eating out is not possible after 19:00, bokings esential, drive over the hils is hard

We thoroughly enjoyed our apartment at Lews Castle. It’s spacious and well appointed, very very nice and high end. The grounds are beautiful and the location is VERY close to the town of Stornoway! Thank you!!!!!

We stayed at Steve and Sheryl’s place for a few nights on our road trip around Scotland. The location is fantastic for exploring some beautiful local beaches, we visited the local pub and were lucky enough to have a group of musicians stop by to sing for their supper. The ferry to Sky is also accessible if you book in advance. Steve and Sheryl’s home is an inspirational custom build for those who appreciate architecture and design. The guest area is the upper floor of their home, there is a common entrance but a door from the entrance hall leader up the stair to a private guest space. Steve and Sheryl’s communication was really helpful and proactive and they left helpful personal notes for us around the home which was a lovely touch. The second bedroom has two beds and Steve and Sheryl had laid out the bed with soft toys and books and toys in drawers for our 4 year old, which he loved. I cannot recommend Sally’s AirBnB highly enough. The location is superb, so peaceful with views out to the harbour from the private garden and the private parking was a god send. The house is spacious and has everything you need and Portree is a great base for exploring Skye and the Highlands and Islands. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was worth every penny! Sally is a great host, easy to get a hold of and sorts things out quickly.

Absolutely lovely little cottage in the most beautiful surroundings- view of a waterfall, loch below and sheep with lambs just outside the gate. Great spot for a sunset and to just relax listening to the birdsong. The cottage was perfectly clean and fully equipped with absolutely everything you could need for self catering. Modern yet traditional - the perfect balance. A lovely additional touch of local gifts much appreciated. Although a little off the beaten track it was the perfect haven after a day exploring all the incredible sights Skye has to offer. We wouldn't change a thing and hope to return!

FANTASTIC spot! Highly recommend! Right in the heart of Skye! Steep hill walk up from the center of Portree but well worth the brief exercise. Spotless place, obviously well-kept and loved.

We used Evelyn's place as a base for exploring the Northern part of Skye. The view and sense of space were worth every penny. When it was warm sitting on top of the hill behind the house was a great viewpoint and when it was too cold to sit outside the view from the main room was brilliant. Absolutely lovely home. A great place to stay as a base for day tripping to Syke or other Isles from the auto ferry which is just a few miles away in Mallaig. Be sure to catch a sunset on the beach about a 10-15 min walk away from the home. Be sure to scratch Stan behind his ears! Iain and Ingrid were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Their place is a lovely, peaceful oasis. The cabin was pristinely clean, charming and cozy, and the gardens full of flowers and birds made us feel that we were living in a fairy tale! Their place is close to lots of outdoor activities. We are already planning our next stay.

What an amazing place to come and stay! Not sure where to begin with the praise for this place. Hosts were amazing, everyone we met was outstanding and the landscape speaks for itself. We had some strong winds and rain during our stay and in some way that added to our experiences on this trip! 100% recommend.

we absolutely loved staying at Marie's place. The house had everything you need and was nice and clean. We got lucky and had a beautiful sunset visible through the living room window! The views are amazing and it is in a great location to explore Skye! I would definitely recommend Marie's place to other travellers!

This was our favorite place in all of our stays in Scotland. Location was very convenient to Portree. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The table by the window had a pleasant view and was great for morning coffee and getting set for the day. Rachel was very quick to answer out questions and she was a lovely host.

Ruth is an excellent host, the breakfast was beyond what I expected. I would work with Ruth again and I would stay at this location again.

My wife and I stayed with Diana number 10 as part of our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We could not be more pleased that we stayed here. Diana is an incredibly welcoming and gracious host. The accommodations themselves were clean, organized, and spacious with a well stocked kitchen with all equipment you would need to cook. The location itself is incredible and access to the hide makes for a perfect place to enjoy a book in a quiet secluded place. This is a truly special place which I would highly recommend to others.

One of the most, (if not the most), beautifully located places we’ve ever stayed. The house was spotless and well-equipped with amenities. Rosie was a brilliant host and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I'm so glad we decided here rather than staying in the town, which we were at first considering. Can't recommend this place enough!
