Cabin holiday rentals in Mullingar

Our stay with Robert and Adele exceeded our expectations. Check in was super easy, and they were very communicative. The cabin was very clean and cozy and the hot tub was so nice and relaxing after a day of travel. I only wish we had booked more time to stay. We will definitely be returning!

we had a wonderful weekend. a beautiful place to relax, silence, nature. the house has everything you need. a comfortable bed to sleep. attentive hosts. we came for the second time for sure and will go for the third time

Place was immaculate, although we didn’t speak in person to the hosts, they were easy to reach out to and extremely helpful, it was such a peaceful relaxing stay, would recommend it

My partner and I enjoyed 2 days in paradise here. The cabin is better then the pictures, the hot tub is easy to work, you share with another cabin and theres a black board to book your spot which is perfect. Lisa was very helpfull, recommended place for take out and since she knew of my birthday had the place decorated which I thought was a lovely. Will 100% be back.

Aurora country spa retreat is an absolutely beautiful place, gorgeous surroundings. Siofra and Mark are brilliant hosts and so helpful and welcoming. Pool is fantastic, hottub, sauna and beer garden are top class. Such a peaceful and relaxing place. Great view of the mountains. We stayed in the cabin and it was lovely, comfy bed and all essentials in the kitchen. Own private hottub at the side of the cabin, smart tv so you can listen to your favourite songs and watch your favorite movies on Netflix ect. Would definitely recommend 👌 Thanks again for our stay, Thnk you so much, we really enjoyed!

Mel was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable. We loved the cabin and the scenery, plus the peace and privacy. Enjoyed kayaking, fishing, dip in the lake and the sauna. Too distracted to go near our phones so it was a great detox from them!

Found this gem last minute. Our family was enjoying the bank holiday weekend and came across this place last minute. Beautiful surroundings of the South Armagh countryside, shop and pub close by. Hot tub was the main attraction for us. Took advantage of it and well enjoyed. My son also enjoyed the toy cars for him to sit on and play with . Hosts were great and very responsive, even allowed us a late check out which was great, good to enjoy the hot tub again before we left. Thanks for having us on short notice.

The place and owners are wonderful and attentive. They left everything clean and organized when we arrived, we will definitely come back. Thank you 👍👏

Mickey, was a real gentleman, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived Mickey had the makings of a fry, and sandwich ingredients as well as cake and biscuits. He went to great trouble to source local taxi numbers and even dropped us to where we wanted to go on one occasion. He was very helpful without being intrusive. We will definitely be back again.

Great night away for myself, 4 year old daughter and dog. Everything was perfect and has a cosy feel to it. Only flaw was that I wasn't familiar with the oven and couldn't see any instructions then burnt food but would be my fault really. Slept well and was quiet/peaceful at night. Beautiful scenery too. Would definitely come back and recommend

We booked the accommodation at the time, even though it was new and had no reviews yet. We were skeptical at first, but everything was just like in the photos! Really a great cottage with lots of lovely bee details. The stove was wonderful and created a great atmosphere. It has everything you need and we were surprised how big the cabin is! We should mention that the bed is relatively small. Certainly no problem as a couple (as long as nobody is taller than 1.80m) but as friends it gets a bit tight. You should be aware of that.

Orchard Lodge is situated in a quiet woodland area, close to Terryglass, where there is a good eating pub (the Derg Inn). The Lodge has comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms and kitchen, and is tastefully decorated. Aoife is a warm. responsive and friendly host.

The stay was exactly as described. Really enjoyed the picturesque surroundings nestled in the woods. Waking up to the sound of birds and cows was a welcome reprieve from the sound of alarm clocks. The cabin is quaint but with everything you need and more. The tapes and polaroid created an old fashioned feel, making this a particularly unique experience. The lake and grounds were the perfect surroundings for our engagement!! Loved this stay so much we'll definitely be back!

we had the best time at Colin's cabin! there is lots to do if you are happy with outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking or walking around, especially our dogs loved swimming in the lakes. We are looking forward to our next stay here

Beautiful location, charming house, Mary was super flexible and generous with her home. If you want a quiet place away from the bustle of the city, this is the perfect spot.

We stayed at Anthony’s while attending a wedding at the Hodson Bay Hotel. Great location and great value. Really peaceful spot and the cabin was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

We had the most amazing two nights at Lough Aisling with my family, incl two small boys. The location is unbelievable - quiet, peaceful, lots of green space for the boys, private road for the boys bikes and kilometres of perfectly maintained lakeside and bogside pathways for wandering/ runs! The chalet had a beautiful lake at the front with swans and ducks passing by, and another at the back full of waterlillies. Joseph and Geraldine were perfect hosts - friendly, accommodating and responsive - offering guided walks of the Lough Aisling trails! This place is a perfect escape from the city - surrounded by water and countryside! We will be back!

I had a truly lovely stay at this peaceful cottage. The home was cosy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The surroundings were beautifully quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Gary and Margaret were wonderful hosts: kind, responsive, and very welcoming. I really appreciated their hospitality. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic stay in the Irish countryside. Thank you again for everything!

Honestly this was just a fantastic find. The place was wonderful, a fully functioning studio kind of cabin in walking distance to a lovely little village with everything you need. The drive to the lake is 5 mins away and 10 mins away to the nearest town. It was really a perfect little getaway. The only thing that might be worth noting for other people is that you can hear the cars on the road - its not a super busy roas as duch but still active and could maybe annoy lifht sleepers. For us it was fine though. And the chickens - we thought they were great but they did poo quite a bit just outside our door so you needed to watch out for this haha. All in all a great stay and would happily come back!

We had a great stay with Helen and Hugh! We met Hugh briefly when checking in and Helen was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. The cabin was ideal and even though close to the owners property it felt very private and secluded. Location is perfect and close enough to Dublin airport. Helen had lovely scones, jam and some Irish creamery butter as a welcome gift waiting for us. Helen had many recommendations and local tips in the welcoming pack which was fantastic! We had an amazing time and would love to come back again ! It’s a gem

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. It is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy warm atmosphere. Nadia was an incredible host and Ena was incredibly helpful with the check in. Nadia was excellent with the flexibility with the check out. We will absolutely be staying here again and will recommend it to others 😊
