Tiny Home in central New Mexio

KeithRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had a quiet and peaceful stay in the tiny home hosted by Jill. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable, except for the bathroom. I am 6’1”, 220lbs, and it was very tight in there, so it is better for smaller persons. Otherwise it is a quaint space.

New Mexico Southwest Adobe Casita

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Placitas casita is a lovely place with wonderful hosts who are friendly, quick to respond and easy to work with. I immediately felt right at home in the casita, which is cozy and quiet with a creative interior design. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware; the internet is fast; and it feels quite private. I enjoyed both sitting on the porch and relaxing on the backyard patio—all with beautiful views. The backyard grill is a nice bonus too. Just five minutes away you can find lots of trails for hiking, running and biking at the foot of the Sandia Mountains as well as a small commercial center with both a casual cafe and fine dining, a small grocery store and a new coffee shop. Not too much further away is Bernalillo (with a Sprouts); and Albuquerque is an easy 30 minute drive. So the casita’s location offers a nice mix of rural/nature with all your big city needs nearby. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to have the chance to do so again.

Convenient Belen Casita

ShannonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a pleasant stay at Jessica's charming home. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The check-in process was straightforward, and I appreciated that the temperature was set nicely, with warm lighting that created a welcoming atmosphere. The location is great, with shopping and restaurants nearby. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare small meals, which was a nice touch. The adobe structure helped maintain a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. I liked the decor, which added a homey feel to the space. There were also games and a small toy box for kids, which is a thoughtful addition. The home is tucked behind a realtor's office, providing a sense of security. The price for my stay was reasonable, and overall, I enjoyed my time here and would consider returning in the future. Thanks Jessica!

Cozy Farmhouse Camper

RobertRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I thought everything was good for what it was. It's a small camper. Going in knowing that, it was exactly what I expected it to be. It worked for what I needed. The location seemed safe and was close enough to amenities. The shower was pretty small and I don't see it being functional for a person with a big frame but it worked. Somebody staying here, should understand that they have animals/livestock that can get noisy at any time. Didn't bother me but future people staying there should understand you are on a small/hobby farm with all the things that go along with that. It was functional for what I needed. Thank you for your hospitality.

Wilderness luxury, mountains, mesas & dark skies

NataliaRating, 5 stars18 months ago
My stay at Karen's Casita has been wonderful! The surroundings are breath-taking and the night skies are unlike anything I have seen before. The Casita is perfect for long stays and has all the amenities one would need. Karen has been very helpful and kind during my stay; especially as I get used to rural NM (having come from an urban area). Karen and Adam were so kind to rescue me one rainy day from the muddy road into the Casita. While I could have driven in myself, I got quite nervous with the drive and they went above and beyond to drive my car and give me a ride. Thank you so much for the rescue! =p If looking for a stay in Mountainair, NM, look no further than Karen's Casita!
