Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Mount Desert Island

Lori was an excellent host! She takes great measures to make you feel comfortable. She thought of EVERYTHING when it came to providing for those staying with her. I was hesitant about the shared bath and staying with the host on site, but I was really impressed with both the studio and the host. I would highly recommend this booking!

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Camden, Maine and a lot of the best Inns were already sold out. We were also traveling with a toddler so having her share a room with us is less than ideal. Fortunately my wife suggested we check out airbnb and we found this awesome option. Compared to the inns it was very affordable and we got an awesome, comfy and huge space to ourselves with a second bedroom and it’s right next to the Main Street. If you are looking for a prime location in Camden it doesn’t get much better than this. It also came stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen to make it feel like home.

Tapley Farm is absolutely beautiful! A quiet hidden gem on the beautiful Maine Coast. I have spent my whole life going to my family place in Brooksville on the Coastal Rd and never knew Tapley Farm existed. Carol and Dick are gracious people and it was wonderful getting to know them! Dick told us the history of his family farm and the ship building that took place there. The sunsets were amazing and the salt air renews your soul. 5/5 Sandra & Dennis Rose

Bohni’s place is exactly what my wife and I were looking for - somewhere out in the woods on the water with a hot tub close to all the amazing little towns we love - Belfast, Camden, Rockland, etc. Bohni was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. We felt horrible because we got half way home and realized we forgot to take the trash out :( I would highly recommend her adorable home.

This place was perfect for our family adventures! The kids enjoyed the games, ping pong, and pool at the office- when we weren’t out exploring. Randy was great, and made sure we were taken care of!

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in Ted's place. It has amazing views and the unit is well stocked with all necessities. Highly recommended!

Great unit on the golf. Course with Ocean views out to the islands. Generally peaceful, save for the morning mowing of the golf course. Great place to base to see all of the mid-coast and the Samoset hotel amenities that are available to you are first class

This is a beautiful home with a breathtaking view! Worth it just to sit in the living room and watch the water. It's down a quiet street a little outside of town, but close enough to head into Rockland and find great food and activities, or head the other way down the coast and check out the seaside. There's access to the shore, though the steps are a little steep and uneven if that's a concern. One other note, the shower and both toilets are on the first floor, while the two non-master bedrooms are upstairs. While this wasn't a problem at all for us, it was slightly unexpected. Fantastic house and location, and we'd be happy to stay here again!

Boy Scouts say leave area better than you found it. Impossible to leave nicer or cleaner. Great location, extremely responsive. No question I will stay again if Irene allows us. Camden is a special community, friendly, and down home feel. Makes u feel like a local from day one. Yes, I know I’m not, I can still pretend. 😎🙏

Great, secluded location with a beautiful view. Loads of books to read, walks to take and general relaxation.

If you are looking for a perfect place to relax with beautiful views and waterfront this is the home. Everything was perfect. We have stayed, in our travels, at many homes and this is the absolute best of all. We wished we could have stayed longer. The entire home was extremely clean. It was very comfortable and cozy. The bedrooms and beds were fantastic and so comfortable. The sauna was fantastic! We were able to explore the Maine shoreline right at the house and go into Bar Harbor and Acadia easily. Beca was immediate with any questions we had especially about amenities and the area for restaurants, etc. Extremely responsive to any of our questions. We cannot wait to go back and hopefully for a longer stay. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful time for our family!

The absolute BEST host! We cannot say enough good things about Keriana & her beautiful home. Attempting to keep a long story short, we decided we wanted to get married in Bangor; in searching for a venue for a very small intimate ceremony we found 431 Hammond Street, and fell in love. I reached out to Keriana to inquire if this would be allowed and she was so wonderful to chat with and was excited to be a part of it. She was always responsive, gave us lots of suggestions for local restaurants, etc. Upon check in had a bottle of bubbly and a box of chocolate and a card waiting for us…during our stay she was responsive and helpful for anything we needed. The home itself is stunning; even better than the photos & the backyard was perfect for wine by a fire, some outdoor activities and a covered area as well. Thank you SO much Keriana, your home will forever have a piece of our hearts. Our wedding day was everything I imagined and more, a fairy tale kind of day.

The property is a great house and the host is very helpful. Once we got into the property we felt at ease after a stressful time, it is that type of house. The property is very large and would easliy handle a larger size group. Bar Harbor does not use alot of sidewalks, so walking into town requires walking in a street, and even around town can require walking in the street. Downloading and using the parking app, ParkMobile, made parking in the city managable.

We can’t say enough good things about the house and our stay: great to have a quiet place to regroup after the crowds and chaos of Bar Harbor, location was central to all of the places we wanted to go, loved the book of do’s, dont’s and tips plus maps and brochures. Picking blueberries right out back was a definite highlight. The household supplies were a plus. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a larger, quiet place to stay.

Needed a place to stay with my family to visit Acadia and this property was great! Clean and spacious with a couple of lakes nearby to swim. No problems with this stay and I highly recommend it!
