Absolutely magical! Chateau Summit exceeded all expectations for our parent moon getaway. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, making meals together a breeze. The hot tub was spotless and perfect for relaxing under the stars. We loved grilling outside and spending evenings by the fire pit, soaking in the fresh mountain air. The views are truly unbelievable—breathtaking from every angle—but catching the sunrise from the cozy cuddle cabin was an unforgettable highlight. The beds were super comfortable, and every detail of the space felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Chateau Summit was the perfect mix of luxury, nature, and charm. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat!

Unmatched stargazing! We’re regular visitors & the location can’t be beat! Secluded with tons of hiking yet close enough to nearby towns/amenities. Cute, quaint home with all the charm! Cozy indoor fireplace & inviting décor. Views & back patio are so nice to have! We saw fox (beware they may come right up to you and the front door!) AND moose right in the yard! Nice amenities for a small home. Enjoyed the second living area with a TV, leaving the main one for gathering and enjoying the views. Kitchen has basics – need to bring oil, spices, foil/parchment paper, etc. if cooking/baking. RO water system is VERY nice to have, especially in the dry climate! Home was very clean and nicely updated. Be aware we’re very familiar with this area and spiders are a common occurrence in the Summer. They easily slip through the cracks in these older homes. We LOVED the cedar hot tub – so nice! The turf and stepping stones on the first level patio are a nice touch. Great stay, friendly hosts.

The A-Frame cabin was beautifully situated and just what I needed! Notably, I didn’t use the upstairs at all, and never even adventured up the spiral stairs to the loft bedrooms, but the downstairs was spacious, well furnished and comfortable. The bed was firm and the linens were so soft I could have stayed in bed the whole time. Easy access to many trails and enough distance from neighbors for peace and privacy. Would definitely recommend!

Holy-moly, what a place! Private, secluded, breathtaking views (& not just from the cabin but on all the roads & routes to the place), &, as others have said, everything you might need was stocked (tho you might want to bring your favorite herbs/spices if you plan on cooking). The bed was super cozy, heating/cooling a breeze, & NO scented stuff anywhere (thank goodness)! The grounds were fun to wander around &, when we arrived, we were literally greeted by a very friendly White-breasted Nuthatch who graciously took unsalted peanuts right out of my hand. Note to those not from higher altitudes: Come prepared with O2 in cans (stocked in convenience stores in CO) & hydration aids…it is UP there & very dry. Sharon is responsive & ready to help, even early on Sunday a.m. if need be. We can’t speak highly enough about this rental; we hope to be lucky enough to rent here again someday.

Wow! Just Wow! This amazing cabin was everything we hoped for. My husband and I scheduled this stay for the last part of our travels to Colorado and it did not disappoint. The space, the hot tub, and our incredible surroundings were so perfect. We had the opportunity to check out Monument historic downtown. What a wonderful afternoon of checking out the shops, had a great dinner at La Casa Fiesta restaurant (wonderful service!), and a scoop of ice cream from Lolley's Ice Cream for dessert. We would absolutely love to come back and stay in the cabin again if/when we head back to Monument. Thank you so so much Johan, for offering such a remarkable place to stay!!

My friends and I stayed in Michael's cabin over Memorial Day weekend and we had the absolute best experience! Michael was very responsive and helpful. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and clean with fantastic views. We had everything we needed and then some. I would gladly stay again and would recommend it to everyone!!

Ken’s cabin is PERFECT! It’s secluded, even though there are neighbors in the area they’re not close to you. The scenery is absolutely some of the best scenery in Colorado in my opinion! From the mountains, the pine trees, the sound of the creek, the chipmunks… it was amazing and breathtaking. The Cabin is just as he described it and as the pictures show it, it’s very nice rustic, warming, and peaceful. Pretty much anything that you may need, was there. From cookware, bathroom, accessories, linens, etc.. . So, if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway for just yourself, or you and your significant other with some amazing views, I highly suggest Ken’s Cabin! Ken and his wife are great hosts and try extremely hard to provide details of the area, places to see, places to go, hiking trails, etc.

This was easily one of the best places we’ve stayed through here. Dawn sent check-in instructions well in advance, and was prompt in responses when needed. It might as well be totally private, because we never heard noise from above. A great value that we will certainly return to if we are back in the area.
