Holiday rentals with a kayak in Montgomery County

We were 4 adults and 3 kids (6, 9, and 12). We had a great time. There was a small swimming pool a very short walk away and designated lake swimming a few yards off the patio. There were life vests and water floats available in a cabinet on the deck. The kids especially enjoyed the child’s “kayak” as they paddled up and down the lake swim area! They also loved fishing (we did catch and release). This beautiful gated community felt very safe and was quiet. The kitchen was well outfitted and had a good number of spices which is a rarity for air bnbs. The beds were comfortable and what kid doesn’t love the upper bunk . Courtney was very quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had. We would certainly stay here again!

We absolutely loved this place! It didn’t feel like we were staying at a typical airbnb - it felt like we were staying at our most thoughtful and stylish friend’s house. Everything was labeled for easy access, and the nightlights (!!!) were a great touch, especially since we were there with smaller kids. Everything was clean and very well-maintained. The location was perfect and so quiet. If we are ever in the area again, I would absolutely stay here another time. Thanks Amanda and Mark for a great experience - you guys knocked it out of the park with this one!

Better than the photos!! We loved the Train Depot airbnb. Not sure why it’s called that because I never heard a train go by lol. It was perfect for the groomsmen to hangout and enjoy the pool with water basketball hoop, pool table and lots of shades seating outside. Good parking. Clean house. Roy answered all my questions very quickly when I messaged him. They made sure we were happy with the house after checking in. I would HIGHLY recommend this airbnb for a group who likes to have fun outside.

The David house as they call it was a lovely respite from the business of life. The lake merged into the back of the home in a way that empowered us to explore it. The rooms were each well air conditioned and filled with space for plenty of guests. Everything in the kitchen worked perfectly and each meal was made simple with the provided tools. We even got to spend time with the neighbors who were helpful, kind, friendly, and fun. (Thank you Joe!) Highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable but luxurious stay on lake Conroe!

Stacy’s place is absolutely gorgeous!!! We were in town for a wedding and had 4 couples staying and it was more than enough room. The area is quiet and beautiful and she has thought of everything as far as supplies, suggestions of places to eat, things to do.. we have all agreed, we will be booking again! Stacy is amazing to work with.. definitely book with her! ❤️

We (three couples and three dogs) spent a great weekend at Eric's place. When we first saw the listing, we liked the great views / location right on the water, fenced backyard for the dogs and and the cozy feeling we got from the photos. House was exactly as pictured, and we walked into a welcome basket with about 10 different useful items ranging from sunscreen spray to an inflatable float to charcoal for the grill. House was incredibly well stocked in a thoughtful manner with everything we needed. Eric was a great host--super responsive, proactive and even generously agreed to late checkout for our group! We had an incredibly relaxing weekend lounging about, cooking and fishing and would come back again!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful and matched the photos! The rustic charm was adorable. My husband and grandkids really loved getting to fish. And we all enjoyed getting in the boats and going out on the water! Cassie was a great and responsive host, and we will definitely try to return again in the future!

We have stayed at the Cottage multiple times—always a peaceful, restful and exactly what one needs for a get-away. Cottage is clean and well appointed — the porch is inviting — the home is decorated with serene decor and the beds are comfortable. Everything you need to recharge and relax.

This was our first visit to Lake Conroe, and we wanted a place near the water to just relax and chill. I don’t often say it, but this property easily exceeded our expectations. It was clean, tidy, fresh, quiet and within a couple of miles to shopping and restaurants. We were set up to inter the gated community through the guard gate and self check in was a snap. Communications through Air BNM were answered promptly. We found that the huge veranda-style porch was a comfy place to enjoy our morning coffee and plan our day. The back porch near the water and just outside the bedroom sliding doors was a nice place to read a book and wind down our day. Wonderful property. God willing, we will be back.

Amy was an amazing and responsive host. She answered all questions immediately and offered some great experiences and options while planning the weekend. And it was a wonderful weekend! The property and amenities were just as they were described and we enjoyed it all - even the outdoor movie screen. The view was breathtaking and the surroundings relaxing. Love the well-stocked kitchen and labels! We will definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.

The cavana is beautiful and peaceful, it feels cozy. Free from all the crazy city lights and traffic sounds. Like been at home in the jungle. Far away from everyone and everything. It's a perfect cozy get away. My bestie and my friends love it. They were all surprised and very happy, everyone was excited and lots of things to explore and do. We all love it and 100% recommend the cavana and the friendly host. We call it cavana because it feels peaceful, calm, cozy. I hope everyone enjoys their stay just like we did.

This cabin was the perfect peaceful escape. Cozy, clean, and full of charm with an incredible view of Lake Conroe. The backyard was spacious and relaxing, and we loved having our nights under the stars or the covered patio. The kayaks were a huge bonus and made our time on the water unforgettable. Everything felt thoughtfully set up and made it easy to just unwind and enjoy. We had the best time and would absolutely come back for another weekend getaway.

I was blown away by the modern style, cleanliness, and the attention to detail and consideration with the amenities. I feel the hosts went Above & Beyond!! My husband and I enjoyed the most relaxing weekend fishing in our own front yard! I was missing a hot tub prior to arrival, but didn’t think twice about after checking in! I give this listing a 10/10.

This place was super cozy and comfortable. The contact was very direct and friendly about what needed to happen once I got there. She also gave tips on what was all available at the cabin. Overall, a great weekend

My cousins and I had a great time. The home was spotless with lots of room for the four of us. We spent hours pulling bass and bluegill out of their large pond and enjoyed every minute of it. we conversed with the owners and they are both very nice people. this was my first Airbnb experience and I'm already making plans to come back to this location. Loved it!
