Helen and Joe were able to accommodate us after our previous booking canceled on us at the last minute and their place was awesome! They were very gracious hosts. The house was located a short drive from the Texas Ren Fest, had plenty of beds, was very clean, and the hot tub and pool were fantastic after a long day of walking. 10/10 would stay here again the next time we come down for the Ren Fest.

We love staying here when we compete in a local dog agility trial. Even our dogs feel it’s a home away from home and are excited to get there. Tim is always quick to respond, even to questions asked in passing like “How much rain did we get yesterday?” The home was easily accessible in the deluge and being able to unload in the carport kept us fairly dry.

This place is absolutely stunning! I don’t think i have enough space here to write everything that was perfect during my small 2 day getaway with my daughter. Helen and Joe were just the nicest and such amazing people. Quickly responded to every message and even did a small store run for me. My daughter loves horses and was able to feed the rescue horses and donkeys they have on site. She was over the moon. Pool is absolutely beautiful! I am ready to be back! (Which hopefully is in a month lol) I could go on and on of how amazing this place is the hospitality but i don’t have the space lol Thank you soooo much Helen and Joe for making our little getaway so perfect and magical!

Jenn and Jaron, were exceptional host. The log cabin was beautifully constructed and equipped with modern amenities. My family and I throughly enjoyed the fireplace, game room, pool, and fire pit. The s’mores station and coffee bar were popular with everyone. The grandkids are already looking forward our next trip. I personally found great joy in savoring my morning coffee in the peaceful natural surroundings; it was very relaxing. The location was also excellent.

We had a women’s retreat here and had an absolute blast! This house is Gorgeous as is the whole Property. It was fully stocked and perfect for our event. I didn’t give it 5 stars for cleanliness because when I walked in the master bedroom, I stepped on a wet spot that ended up being dog pee and I had to clean that up. But that’s easy to miss! We wanted a walk through prior or to look at the property before the retreat but the owner was not willing to let us see it in person. She said we could do a video tour but we couldn’t come up with a date so we crossed our fingers and it ended up working out fine. We will definitely come back here again!

This was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. My sister was getting married down the road so it was a wonderful location for our family. The host was amazing an very responsive to anything I needed. I would highly recommend this home.

We just got back from our glamping weekend with the family, and it was everything we needed ! The setup was perfect—comfortable beds, cozy vibes, and all the amenities that made it feel confortable in the middle of nature. We spent our days exploring, playing games, and making memories The kids loved it, and the adults appreciated the peace and reset. It was the perfect blend of outdoor and comfort. Highly recommend for families or couples The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and communicative We are definitely coming back Again Just unplug and reconnect

Magical stay! We had the most incredible time at the bubble tent. Waking up to panoramic views of the countryside was such a unique experience. The tent itself was spotless, cozy, and surprisingly comfortable — it felt like sleeping under the stars but with all the comforts of home. The pool was a perfect spot to cool off during the day, and lounging by it with a good book was pure bliss. We also loved visiting with the friendly farm animals — such a treat! Our hosts were welcoming and thoughtful, providing great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. The setting was peaceful and private, and we left feeling totally refreshed. If you’re looking for a special getaway that combines nature, comfort, and a bit of whimsy, this is it. We can’t wait to come back! 🌟🐑🏊‍♀️✨

For those who are looking for a unique experience, the bubble is beautiful, and definitely worth it! We spent the Memorial weekend there, and it was a great stay! The bubble has AC, but unfortunately when the sun is too hot, it does get warm inside, which for us it wasn’t a problem because we spent the day at the lake and the pool (which btw is awesome), but if you are planning just staying at the bubble all day, I wouldn’t recommend booking on summer! 🙃 But highly recommended any other time! The place is amazing and the hosts are great! A lovely stay!

Our stay at the cottage was absolutely amazing! Agape Farms is such a beautiful sweet place. From the time we checked in til the time we had to leave we were just so blessed by everything! Brandi is absolutely amazing in every way, thank you Brandi! The sweet animals greeted us every morning and every time we returned at the end of the day and they were great company for morning coffee on the porch :) Comfy beds, everything we needed, I could just go on and on. We are so looking forward to our next stay in one of our favorite places.

It was an absolute pleasure staying here! We loved feeling like we were in the country while still being close to downtown. The home was welcoming and served our needs perfectly. Her critters are so much fun and she is a wonderful host! Highly recommend and hope to stay there again the next time we are in the area!

The cabin was beautiful!! Very specious, clean, well furnished, and with a full kitchen. The view of Sam Houston National forest from the huge deck worth the sunrise and sunset. To be on a winery is an added bonus for wine lovers. They always have great music entertainment which makes it for a relaxing getaway.

My families stay with at The Ark House was nice. It's a cozy little area for a family of 4 or less. The pricing was awesome, we were in town for a soccer tournament for my son. The location was a little further than we expected because you have to get on Country Roads, and they are far away from the Highway. However, this was not an issue we just knew to leave a little earlier. Walter responded every time I sent a message. My daughter loved the animals and feed the horse and donkey carrots. Walter also gave us FRESH EGGS and I must say they were Awesome!!!!!!!! If you want to get away or need a friendly, cozy, new experience this is the place. We will book in the future... Thanks Walter you are an awesome host.

The place was everything I could ask for. The home was super cozy and clean. Mr Walter was easy to talk to. I really enjoyed my time away from reality for the weekend!

This was exactly what we were looking for – a peaceful place to gather with close friends and relax on New Years weekend. The house was perfect for two couples to decompress from the holidays. Our son loved the swing out front, and we were all pleasantly surprised by the trail along the back of the property. We took the host's recommendation and went to Teysha Vineyard, which was a really fun way to spend the afternoon. We didn't end up using the fire pit but loved that that was an option. Dana was very responsive and accommodating. We'd love to go back.

It was such a nice stay! So comfy and cozy and super cute!!! The aesthetic was absolutely perfect! It’s sort of an RV park, Airbnb park, but was VERY quiet and nice! No complaints!
