Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Monteverde

Johanna's place was amazing. You are a 5-10 minute to the center of the town and all the restaurants and shopping. However, the place feels isolated like you are within the Cloud Forest. Not have direct access to the kitchen via the hallway from the bedrooms was exactly the way it should be when you are wanted to be as much outside as possible. Johanna was a wonderful host and very responsive with my many questions.

Me and my wife had a great time here. The place is located in one of the most Beautiful places of Monteverde, surrounded by nature and lots of activities.

The place is a bit far from downtown (like 20min) but if you’re looking for a peaceful stay this is 100% the place. Have breakfast in the little backyard they have, surrounded by the mountains and the sounds of birds and you’ll confirm that.

The house was very nice, we liked being able to make a campfire and share with friends outside the house. Also the house is great, great for large groups. Very close to downtown. Overall the house is comfortable, clean, spacious and certainly very nice to have a good time as a family.

We booked Ever's place last minute and so glad we did. The home was modern, clean, and beautiful. The views are absolutely spectacular. Ever met us in town and guided us to it which was super helpful. He is kind and informative, and we all had a wonderful stay.

Raquel’s place was amazing! Raquel was very responsive, kind and helpful. The home was great, very clean and cozy. The location is great as well! It’s a 10 minute walk to the grocery store, and a three minute walk to a great restaurant. I highly recommend staying here!

The place is quiet, close to downtown and shops, the room is very clean and organized, equipped with the essentials to feel comfortable in the stay. Very grateful with the host's treatment, very kind and willing to help with any inquiries about the place

Juan's place was CLEAN, nice pots, pans, flatware, great fridge, BEAUTIFUL wood ceilings, comfortable couch, beautiful and clean bathroom. The wifi worked very well. Me and my guest were very impressed with the room. It is so clean that you can actually let your children sit and play on the floors. Juan was very accommodating. He kindly helped me by allowing me to do a late check-in. He was very responsive to my needs and questions. He suggested a great location to go eat and the food was good! This room is right near town. Definitely walkable to restaurants, stores, and places of interest in both directions! The cost of this room was well worth it! My only issue: No side tables in the bedrooms. There was nowhere to set my glasses or cell phone before bed time except on the shelf in front of the bed. No lamps in the bedrooms; you have to keep the bright ceiling lights on when it's late and you want to wind down. Lights had greenish hue. But this room was still awesome!

! Our family of six had a fantastic time at the Arenal Dream Lodge. The location was ideal—just a short 10-minute drive to town, making it easy to access restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The views of the Arenal Volcano were absolutely breathtaking and made for a truly memorable backdrop to our stay. The lodge is in a small, gated community of just three homes, which felt very private and safe. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Wagner was an outstanding host—his communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Arenal area!

Hi Jennifer as an excellent host, Esteban is also super friendly, attentive to our needs. A super quiet place, spacious, I loved that it is so natural, that they separate the waste. The pools are not so chlorinated. They were always willing and attentive, very friendly. Great place, super recommended 🤗

Maria's home is tucked in a beautiful and private, but also convenient location by Lake Arenal. Maria is so welcoming, responsive, and made my birthday trip extra special with a few accommodations/touches! Would definitely return and highly recommend others.

amazing location with sweet hosts who made us feel right at home. we were never more than 30 minutes away from tourist destination. coffee, food, and markets are a short 3 min drive. you could walk 10 min down to the town if you're without a car and catch all the tour buses. if you are looking for an immersive experience to feel right at home this is your place. it is an older home that they have fixed up so somethings aren't perfect. there are areas where very small bugs can get in but hey, it was their home first. no bugs that lead us to feel that the house was dirty or unsafe. the outdoor area is beautiful and relaxing with the river flowing through the front yard. the hosts live on the property making us feel extra safe and looked after. they have amazing recommendations on where to eat and catch beautiful sunsets. fingers crossed this listing is available for our next vacation. can't wait to come back and enjoy more of monteverde!

Christina is an amazing host! She is always responsive, and knows the area very well. The breakfasts were amazing and comprehensive. Being able to walk to dinner at Selina was great as well as Monteverde. Walking to an art gallery and family-fun cafetal (coffee farm), albeit down the mountain, was challenging yet awesome. Pura Vida!

The host was ready for us to checkin and sent very good instructions! If you ask they will send you recommendations for the area which was great! The place is secluded and so peaceful! The view is amazing! We had in the hot tub and the balcony most of the time and took in the amazing views. The host leaves a little snack basket and wine for you which really took our check-in to the next level after a long day of travel. I’m so glad we stayed here! If we get back to the area we will definitely stay here again!

It's an amazing place for stay with large glass windows overlooking a scenic mountain view. The host is someone who goes above and beyond to make guest feel welcome, confortable and valued.

I would 100% stay here again. Andrea's place is better than it looks in the photos - it's spacious, clean, peaceful, and has a gorgeous view. It's tucked away in some rural mountain roads which makes it a bit challenging to get to, but it's totally worth it. Andrea herself is an angel. I made a silly travel mistake and reached out to Andrea for help - she went above and beyond to make me feel supported! I will remember her kindness and this little slice of heaven forever.
