Cottage holiday rentals in Monteux

Great evening spent at Nicolas' who welcomed us extremely friendly. The cottage is clean and beautiful, the pool very pretty, and the local nectars always at the top. All the ingredients for a successful weekend.

fabulous Gite ideal for a couple of nights peaceful stay. Super pool and the hot tub was a bonus. Very spacious and clean. loved the property and the location. Kathy was a super host. We enjoyed the 25 min walk into the beatiful town with its many shops and restaurants. Nothing about our stay was not to like. We hope to comeback.

Brigitte is a fantastic host, and the property and area are lovely. We travelled with our nearly 2-year-old daughter, and it was ideal for families with young children. A high chair was provided, and a cot was offered, but we didn't need it.

Despite the weather, we had a lovely weekend. The accommodation is amazing, between the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Gregory responds quickly to messages. We visited the surrounding area through the waterfall of the sautadet which is beautiful and the Pont du Gard which is incredibly.

This little house is very good. It is absolute silence, very well furnished and equipped (comfortable bedding). Large exterior. It is 5-10mn from Carpentras and its shops. Very good place to stay to visit the Parc du Mont Ventoux. Laetitia is very responsive and flexible. The self check-in is convenient. I recommend this house for 1 or 2 people.

Thanks for Christiane and Jean-Michel for a wonderful holiday. They greeted us at the accommodation, showed us around, discussed ideas for where to visit. The accommodation itself is in the most idyllic place, slightly off the beaten track so peaceful and quiet. The local village is beautiful with fantastic restaurants. Highly recommended and thank you both so much!

The place itself is fantastic. The private jacuzzi is excellent and the main reason that we stayed. The rest of the apartment is also very well equipped and comfortable. However, there were so many rules and requirements both before and during the stay that I did not fully feel like a welcome guest, it felt more like pressure to make sure to not do absolutely anything wrong rather than able to relax and fully enjoy. I also had to pay a 500 euro security deposit which I thought I would get back after departure - turns out I only get it back after 30 days (I hope so!!). Not usual. Also be aware, the walk to town is along a country road without side walk. Very unsafe and to me - not walkable. So basically - the jacuzzi is great. I still would be unlikely to stay there again overall.

Beautiful property, very convenient for visiting Cote du Rhone vineyards. We stayed when it was really hot, but the building stayed cool so we didn't notice the lack of AC. Just note, there is no WiFi.

Brigitte’s place was better than in the photos. The design and furniture are contemporary but work perfectly with the home. We loved it. Very well equipped and we used the kitchen for nights when we didn’t go to restaurants. Easy to shop at the local SuperU which is 10 minutes away. The terrace is very large and offers total privacy and it was like being in the canopy of the trees. Brigitte is the perfect host and was able to book us a very nice restaurant for our first night. She was always very helpful if you required information but we were fairly independent. We saw all of the Luberon Hilltop villages and were especially enchanted by Ménerbes and Lacoste . We ate at Monsieur Tu at Menerbes and Auberges De Lagnes both which are equally good but you do have to book. The did five wonderful walks in the area which where all circular and again where rewarded by the variety and sheer beauty of the area. This was our first visit to the Luberon and would stay with Brigitte again.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is beautifully decorated and bedrooms large and comfortable (with air conditioning) but it is the outside of this house that is its biggest feature. The gardens were huge and well maintained with lots of areas for the children to play and explore (literally acres!) and the pool is the biggest private pool I have ever seen and its heated! We couldn't get the kids out of it! We absolutely loved the peaceful surroundings whilst still being in walking distance of the neighboring vineyard. We were also within a very easy cycle / long walk of a beautiful restaurant in Joucas and a 10 min car journey of the restaurants in Gordes. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!!

We needed a place not too far from home, but where we could quickly unwind, and we found the rare gem. Everything was perfect, matched the advertised description, in short a little paradise. Our dog had a blast in the beautiful space available to us. Small downside, we like to meet the owners or caretakers, rather than these impersonal key cabinets, but Hassan met all of our expectations by phone, quickly and efficiently. We hope to be able to return when it's a little warmer!! Thank you for all you do. Frédérique and David

Jennifer was the perfect host! Friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She responded quickly to any questions we had. The cottage is basic but has everything you need. To walk to the village of Nove, you do need to cross a busy road however the location itself is great. Close to the motorway and tourist attractions Provence has to offer. Recommend to all.

We had a very good long weekend in your accommodation. It was clean and quiet. Easy to access. We were able to enjoy the pool, the children were very happy. We will surely return. I highly recommend it.

The accommodation is perfectly as described, clean, spacious and well-equipped. The place is quiet, ideal for resting while being close to many attractions to visit. Delphine is a friendly and helpful host. The location is perfect, in the middle of nature but a 2-minute walk to the village. Cozy terraces and incredibly good restaurants. Small supermarket with fresh vegetables. A bakery, butcher and fromagerie. From Goult, beautiful villages and varied hiking trails.

Very good stay in a detached house, located in a very large estate. The evening of our arrival Audrey was organizing a paella evening for all the tenants of every house on the estate, it was great! Lovely hospitality and care, we had a very nice time. The pool is shared with the other tenants who are concerned about everyone's respect. The space was very clean. The location is ideal because it is quiet, but located a few minutes drive from several amenities. I highly recommend it! And thank you Audrey for the nice welcome:)

The gîte Robinson was my salvation to find peace and relax. From the first moment, I felt at home. Extremely friendly landlady, loving details, the singing of the nightingale, the cherry trees, the garden and the grounds, which invite you to take a walk! I will definitely come back❤️

In the beautiful countryside of Provence, Philippe's place is a special place. In a large garden filled with lavender scent, a lovingly furnished cottage lies hidden in the plant world. Lovely accommodation in the heart of the Luberon with wonderful views. Beatrice and Patrick were most welcoming . Would thoroughly recommend. Others might find it useful to note that our satnav struggled to find the road to the property so when we found ourselves turning up a rough road that climbed through woodland, we thought we'd gone wrong ...... but we hadn't! Just carry on and you'll reach the property.

We loved our stay at Les Guillaume Rey. The host was friendly and had lots of recommendations. The farmhouse is beautiful and serene. We loved the location nearby beautiful villages. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
