Immaculate, fully renovated, ground floor studio apartment. Set in a great location, just a few steps from the sea, best beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. 5 minute walk from the train station and 10 minute walk from the historical centre. The space is bright, contemporary with nautical touches with a casual but elegant feeling. Fixed queen size bed, new bathroom with shower and fully equipped kitchenette for a pleasant, comfortable stay.

Romantic little Pirate's House, strong WiFii

Romantic, very small, renovated 600-year-old Pirate´s House in the historic center of Monterosso al Mare. It´s located in a beautiful medieval narrow street just about 3 walking minutes from the village center and the beach. You´ll have to walk up about 100 steps to reach it. The little house consists of one sleeping/living room on the second floor and a kitchen and very small bathroom on the first (ground) floor. Free WiFi!

Great location and very nice helpful host. Vernazza is beautiful and the apartment had everything we needed including beach towels, an awesome shower, comfy bed, mini fridge and private terrace. You will be climbing up a lot of stairs to get into the apartment so not for anyone that can’t handle that. Pack backpacks for Cinque Terre not suitcases. You are in a busy area right next to a restaurant so while there is some noise it wasn’t bad. I would stay again.

The host was flexible with check in time which was amazing. Their home was very clean. The balconies are gorgeous and we enjoyed our morning coffee while relaxing on it. The best part was the bed. Full linens, comfortable pillows and soft, plump bed along with a duvet. Probably the best sleep I had while visiting Italy. I would stay here again if I’m ever in the area and will recommend same to my friends and family.

Francesca was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Her perfect English made communication so easy, and when we had an injury during our stay, she was incredibly helpful—instantly responsive, calling an ambulance for us, and genuinely caring throughout. Being in a foreign country where we don’t speak much Italian could have made things really difficult, but Francesca made a terrible situation so much better. Before arrival, we had a few questions as vegetarians, and she was kind enough to provide lots of helpful advice well in advance. The apartment itself exceeded our expectations — lovely terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. It’s easy to find and just 5 minutes from the beach. There are some steps to reach the apartment which were manageable for us, but worth noting for anyone less mobile or elderly.

Centrally located by the church where the shops and restaurant are, just a few minutes walk and find from the train station. Place was clean and bed was very comfortable. Host is friendly and quick to help with settling in. Leave your luggage if you can, as it’s 4 flights of narrow stairs up! Overall, a great place as base when visiting 5Terre!
