Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Monterey

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in in terms of being a clean, well stocked place. So many little details done right. Charging docks on all the night stands. A “did you forget anything” toiletry basket in the restroom. The well equipped kitchen and selection of coffee from Keurig to Nespresso. A lot of care was put into this home and it’s well worth the asking price. As far as location, proximity to the beach, and views - that is all self explanatory. I had an amazing time, and will certainly book again.

This apartment is perfect for a fun visit to Santa Cruz. It’s a new construction with convenient, safe parking situated downtown. Everything in the apartment is clean, new and well thought out. The best part is the prompt and thorough host. Dave immediately responded to any concerns or needs we had and everything about check in and check out was easy and clear. Honestly, for a couple or small family visiting for the weekend (or longer!) you can’t do better than this.

Lovely location! The perfect peaceful getaway. Close enough to explore Santa Cruz, Capitola, and Monterey. Golf cart to the beach for a day in the sun or just explore the property. Will make this an annual thing.

We stayed only one day at this listing, so couldn't do justice to the facilities that were at our disposal. The room itself, which is part of a resort, is spacious, well-stocked and looks even better than the photos. The view from the balcony is excellent. There is a pool and hot tub accessible within a couple of minutes from the room. There is a 5-10 minute walk to the nearby private beach, or you could just take a buggy. It was a very windy evening, so I got to take some otherworldly photos as the sun was going down, with no crowds to disturb the view. There are 4 restaurants accessible within walking distance in the complex, of which the Mexican option is the standout. Staff on-site are friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay here and have no hesitation recommending it to others.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at David’s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The host, David, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any questions or needs. The space itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, close to all the local attractions and easy to navigate. David went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay. I will definitely be returning!

This is a great place to stay for some relaxation and recharging. The beds were comfortable and the grounds were beautiful! Pool and spa were perfect. The only issue we had is with the door. The key failed to work twice, but maintenance was very responsive and fixed the issue. Once the issue was a power outage and the second was the battery in the door lock.

Sean’s Seascape Beach resort condo is all that was advertised and more. Very comfortable, well -decorated, and clean, with all necessities thoughtfully provided, including beach towels, a very convenient stacked WD located upstairs, and a water filtering pitcher in the fridge! The icing on the cake was access to the Seascape Beach Resort’s Sports Club for yoga, swimming, exercise classes, tennis clinics, and pickleball, all for a VERY reasonable day membership fee. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a weekend getaway and really enjoyed the condo. Great location with easy access to the beach and 15-20 mins away from Capitola and Santa Cruz. Host was communicative and responsive and condo was exactly as described. Would stay again!

Great place to spend time in Carmel. The ocean views are beautiful and the house was clean and comfortable. It’s a little on the rustic side but has a great old Carmel feel. Very quiet but fairly close to downtown and the beach. Would definitely come back.

Michael's home is amazing! It is private, surrounded by woods. Inside, you'll find an absolute gem of a home. Very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. Michael was responsive and proactive in reaching out to ensure we had a smooth arrival. We appreciated the lack of stress on our wedding weekend and it was the perfect home base to come back to after a busy day.

Victor was a great host. We absolutely loved staying here! The house was clean and comfortable. It was perfect distance from everything.

The house was beautiful. The furniture and beds were comfortable. There were many large screen TVs. The kitchen was open and would be great for cooking and entertaining. The laundry room was far enough away from the bedrooms that we could catch up on laundry from our traveling and still get to sleep. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Our stay at Nawara's Carmel Airbnb was truly extraordinary. This centrally located gem between Carmel Valley and downtown Carmel was a serene escape, allowing us to decompress after exploring the area. The house's central location was ideal, offering easy access to both downtown Carmel and Carmel Valley. The house itself, with its stunning deck overlooking the hills, created a magical and tranquil atmosphere. Nawara's meticulous attention to detail was evident throughout the house, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Her thoughtful touches truly made it feel like a home away from home. Nawara, our warm and welcoming host, was exceptional. She was an excellent communicator, readily available for questions and recommendations. Her hospitality added to the overall comfort of our stay. We're already looking forward to returning to Nawara's Carmel haven. This retreat was a hidden gem, and we can't wait to be back. Thank you Nawara!
