House holiday rentals in Monteceneri

The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

We stayed for my sisters bachelorette weekend and it was amazing. Perfect for 6 girls to relax, the pool with its view is a 10/10. The kitchen was fully equipped. Hannes was a great host making sure we had all information we needed. Definitely coming back again. My recommendation: pack light and in smaller bags, you have some steps to the house. 😅

The place is beautiful and very well located. You have a fantastic view of the lake and some hiking opportunities in the area. The apartment is about 10 minutes by car from Colico and it is super quiet. The pool and pool loungers are also great.

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

Very nice apartment with fantastic views. Great, very well equipped and covered terrace. It also has an entrance area for shoes and jackets - very practical. Although the bus did not run hourly, the location is also very well connected by public transport and there are wonderful hikes in the Valle Colla. Just a small suggestion for improvement: on cold, wet evenings, a small electric stove would certainly not be bad.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay! The view was stunning, the neighbors were so friendly and sweet, the home itself was perfect and had everything we needed, and there was so much to do in the local area. Will definitely be recommending in the future!!

Sandra is a very friendly and helpful landlady. The apartment is decorated with a lot of love and my husband, I and our dog felt completely comfortable. The view from the terrace and sofa is unique and the kitchen has everything you could want. A dream apartment. Another plus is that the restaurants, villages and Locarno are also within walking distance. Thank you Sandra, to another time

We had a wonderful staying and absolutely dog friendly to. Waterfalls and natural swimming pools on 10 minutes walk from the house. It was amazing. Only the walk from the car with the stuff was not easy in the beginning, but for the stay itself was very good! The lookout from the apartment was breathtaking! Very romantic.

We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Loved the surroundings — so clean and peaceful. The place was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the host was super responsive and kind. Made our trip really easy and relaxing. Would happily book again!

Well equipped place and very friendly hosts.

We had great days in the accommodation, it was very tidy and the kitchen was very well equipped. We were not very lucky with the weather, but we were able to use the "TV room" extensively. They always responded very quickly to our questions and we felt we were in good hands. The small bathing section is a highlight and I could still use the SUP boards, it was a lot of fun.

This beautiful rustico is perfect! It is ideal for families, as it is located in a fantastic environment and is also very easy to reach by car. Julian is a great host. The check-in was very easy and perfectly described. Thank you for everything, we are looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed here for a night and it was a nice little spot to rest for the night. One thing to note is that there’s a staircase immediately upon entering the building. There is basically no space for luggage downstairs so you must carry it up which can be a bit difficult given the dimensions of the staircase and depending on the size of your suitcase. There was also a balcony that was not visible in the listing but it was a nice little spot to view the Swiss scenery.

It is a wonderful quiet and private house on the edge of the village of Palanzo overlooking the lake and mountains. The two large windows overlook the lush green terraces opposite. The qualities of the location and the old small house were redesigned with great skill into a harmonious whole. We felt very, very comfortable here. Thank you for the warm welcome and the tips. Amazing place! Fausta was extremely helpful, told us everything we wanted to know. Prepared lovely decorations and cookies for us as it was our anniversary during our stay.

Caroline is the perfect host and her house was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The whole house is clean, organized and beautifully decorated. There is a lot of thought put into making guests feel comfortable and welcome. The kitchen is very well equipped and the dining table is big enough to enjoy family dinners. The living room has enough seating for all guests which isn't always the case. In the bathrooms Caroline provided lots of new, fluffy towels for everyone. The back garden is amazing, a small paradise with lounge chairs to relax in the sun and a table for dining outside. Added to that is a very well equipped laundry room and outside parking for two cars. We would definitely go back!

Everything was great we had a wonderful stay with the family

The place is wonderfully quiet, above Lugano. However, the lake and the Lido are very quickly accessible by car. Two grotto/small typical Ticino restaurant can also be enjoyed within walking distance. I recommend arriving by car as the bus does not run regularly. In the accommodation you immediately feel very comfortable, very clean and it has everything you need! The garden, the tranquility and the surroundings for hiking are also wonderful. I would come back anytime and highly recommend Monica's house. Monica is also a great and warm host! Merci!
