Holiday rentals in Monasterolo del Castello

When you drive up to the cottage you find yourself making your way through a slightly spooky forrest road, initially you wonder where you're going and if you'll drive off the end of the earth! But after a few minutes you arrive at the cottage and it is simply magical. The garden is fantastic, the cottage itself looks like a beautiful hobbit hole and the view is absolutely breath taking. Roberta was there to greet us and she was very kind, charming and extremely helpful. The interior of the cottage is absolutely super. Everything is even better than advertised and the sauna, beautiful shower and hot tub are a luxurious joy to use. This cottage is perfect for 2 people planning a relaxing few days away from the busy cities. Yet within 30 minutes drive you are in the heart of Bergamo for a bit of shopping. Roberta is wonderful and the cottage is a dream. We will 100% be back very soon!

Apartment was clean, with AC, Wifi (intermittent) and amenaties like moka coffee brewer and pans. The apartment is small, max 2 people I would say, the host Diego is very easy to work with and very flexible helping out. The apartment complex area was great, the pool clean and cold for hot summer days. Spinone al lago is a bit dull though, make sure to plan trips to Lovere and Lake Iseo to get the most out of your trip. Deeply recommend getting a car for your stay here.

Very nice accommodation in a peaceful and very beautiful environment. Mattia was responsive to messages and attentive to our comfort during the stay. The accommodation was very well-equipped. I recommend it!

Beautiful cozy cottage right on Lake Como! We loved our stay here. The kitchen was great and the host provided the first morning essentials (eggs, butter, coffee, yogurt, milk) which was a life saver. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the incredible Finnish sauna! We swam off the dock in the lake daily and hung out in the yard with so many beautiful ducks and swans! There are a couple good restaurants within walking distance, but do be aware you have to walk on a busy road to get to the closest town which is Lierna (10 minute walk). We did not have a car and it was not a problem with the ferry and the proximity to town. I highly recommend this place and would book it again in a heartbeat.

We had a perfect stay at Simona's place! The house is fantastically located with a great view. Upon arrival, Simona provided a stocked refrigerator with vegetables from their own garden, eggs, a full fruit bowl and bottles of drinks. The house was perfectly cared for, neatly clean and the beds of good quality. Simona has arranged a tour of Bianzano for us where we were shown around by an enthusiastic guide with a lot of knowledge about local history and architecture. Our boys soon became friends with the Afghan greyhound. The house is a perfect base for the lakes, Bergamo and several walks. We spent a wonderful week of vacation in Bianzano and are very grateful to Simona for her hospitality and care, we would love to come back!

House ideal for families; Michele was attentive and decisive in all the needs that we had. It was a very hot few days and we asked for a fan. She advised us how to keep the house cool and still bought a fan for us. It was also flexible with the time of departure, which when you travel with babies, it is appreciated. If we come back to the area, we'll repeat it without a doubt. The area is secluded from the village although close. Lots of tranquility and nature

Couldn’t recommend this apartment enough. Nicola has definitely set the bar very high, from his communication to the cleanliness of the place. This has probably been the first place I’ve visited where I’ve not had to panic about something not being clean. The apartment itself was just like the pictures and in pristine condition. Surrounded by lovely scenic mountains and only a tram away from Bergamo centre. The tram and bus station are only a 5 minute walk away with connections to Bergamo central every 10-15 minutes. There is a lovely canal right outside, perfect for an evening walk. If you are planning a stay then hurry and book up here as I’m sure you will not be left disappointed. Wonderful location, central for keeping beautiful mountain walks, swimming in open water, or in the available swimming pool. Beautiful surroundings, both at Lago Engine, as well as Lago d'Iseo. A visit to the historic fortified town of Bergamo is also worthwhile. The house had all the comforts. Very nice host.
