Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Molenwaard

Wat een heerlijke tijd hebben we gehad in dit mooie en rustige huis. Fantastische landelijke omgeving en het huis staat in een appelboomgaard. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en de wifi is uitmuntend. We zijn hier vanwege een verbouwing 4 weken gebleven. Marc en Maria zijn gezellige, vriendelijke, rustige en geïnteresseerde mensen. We hielden regelmatig een praatje en als er iets was stonden ze meteen klaar. Ze hebben ook een leuke hond Beer die ons altijd enthousiast begroette maar niet blafte. Je bent op loopafstand van het gezellige dorpje Schoonhoven met veel barretjes en restaurantjes. Verder ben je makkelijk met de bus in zowel Rotterdam als Utrecht Kortom een heerlijke plek om een tijd te zijn.

Schöne, sehr schick eingerichtete Unterkunft. Wir waren zum Fischen da und hatten keine weiten Wege ans Wasser. Gerne wieder.

Es war ein sehr schöner gelungener Aufenthalt bei Trudy und Dirk! Alles hat prima gepasst und die Unterkunft ist liebevoll und detailreich eingerichtet. Wir konnten den Garten und die Loungeecke wunderbar nutzen, vor allem aber Nachmittags scheint hier wunderbar die Sonne! Vielen lieben Dank 😀

Hans est un homme charmant et très accueillant. Sa confiance nous a conforté. Un véritable délice cet appartement typiquement Hollandais, au dessus de cette jolie galerie d'art, situé dans le centre de Gouda. La description était vraiment fidèle. Merci encore a Hans pour nos petites conversations artistiques ! Nous recommandons vraiment.

Wir haben ein tolles Wochenende im kleinen Ferienhaus von Jacqueline verbracht. Man wohnt sehr ruhig und die Unterkunft ist perfekt für drei Personen. Die Kommunikation war leicht, Jacqueline hatte gute Tipps für die Umgebung und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Besonders zuvorkommend war das im Kühlschrank bereitgestellte Frühstück, das es gab als wir ankamen. So konnte man sich den ersten Einkauf sparen. Die Anbindung nach Den Haag ist mit der 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernten Bahnstation sehr gut. Auch nach Rotterdam und Delft kommt man schnell mit Jacquelines Tipps für kostenlose P+R Parkplätze an den Bahnstationen. Wir würden immer wiederkommen!:)

It was my very first time at a country side home, and it was amazing, especially Cornelia's hospitality and friendliness. A bit difficult to commute by public transport, but you can take a cab from the nearest station.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in dieser schönen und gemütlichen Unterkunft. Die Gastgeberin Corrie hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns sogar mit einem selbst gebackenen Apfelkuchen überrascht. Auch Kees haben wir bei der Abreise als sehr freundlich und sympathisch kennengelernt. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt benötigt. Woudrichem ist ein idealer Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Besonders empfehlen können wir einen Besuch auf dem Hausboot „De Pannekoekenbakker“ – hier gibt es köstliche und kreative Pfannkuchenspezialitäten. Eine klare Empfehlung für eine entspannte Auszeit!

We loved our long weekend in Nieuwland. This is a tiny village so very quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive from the motorway. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable for our group of 3 people. Everything worked great- lovely kitchen, powerful shower and a tv with a guest Netflix account. We were disappointed we didn't get a chance to sit outside in the courtyard due to the rain. We would happily return and would recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet away from town. Es un apartamento precioso, cómodo y súper bien conectado con el transporte público. La habitación principal tipo loft es ideal y la segunda es elegante y maravillosamente cómoda. Los baños y la cocina estaban impecables y cada detalle es bonito y agradable. Hay total autonomía y Gonny es súper amable y respetuosa. Hemos disfrutado de 5 días maravillosos en familia!

Dit is een heerlijke plek voor wie van rust en stilte houdt. De studio is ruim en je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt: goed ingerichte keuken, prima bedden, grote douche. Het terrasje aan de rivier is zalig en de omgeving nodigt uit tot urenlang wandelen en fietsen.

Der Aufenthalt bei Marjolein und Michiel war außerordentlich schön und gemütlich. Ruhig gelegen, wunderschönes Ambiente mit privater Teichterrasse und Garten. Ideal für Radtouren zum Weltkulturerbe zu den Mühlen in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, sowie nach Dordrecht gelegen. Auch der Wasserbus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Da mein Mann 60 wurde, hatte Michiel uns aufmerksamerweise eine schöne Flasche Prosecco vorab in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ließ sich insgesamt zum Schlafen gut abdunkeln. Das Auto konnte sehr sicher auf dem Hof abgestellt. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! Logement bien équipé nous avions tout le nécessaire. Des vélos sont mis à la disposition des voyageurs et cela est un vrai plus pour visiter Rotterdam. Excellent séjour. Merci

Had a lovely stay at Maarten’s place. Very close to the tram line, many stores and restaurants near by. Check-in was super easy. Maarten was very kind and responsive. Apartment was very spacious and extremely quiet. The only thing to be aware of is the steep stairs - it’s just one floor but be careful when bringing up heavy bags. Great experience!

Ik heb een zeer goed verblijf gehad. Het is een leuk, ruim en karaktervol appartement. Alles is netjes en schoon. Jonathan is een erg vriendelijke host en communiceert goed!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und zum Erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren sehr wertvoll. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr luxuriös eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

Perfekt gelegene Wohnung von der man abends einen traumhaften Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Die Beachbars liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Pluspunkt ist der zur Wohnung gehörende und auf dem Grundstück liegende Parkplatz. Wir können das stilvoll eingerichtete Beachhouse auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!
