Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Modica

Antonella and Geno went waaay out of their way to make our visit comfortable and convenient. The accommodation is beautifully maintained, spacious and well appointed. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Modica.

Adriana was super kind and helpful, the accommodation is comfortable and quiet, it has a terrace that is breathtaking, it was really a shame to spend only one night there. Highly recommended.

This house is much more than just a fantastic place to stay! This house is an absolute work of art and the ones who planned, implemented and decorated it are real artists! I couldn't stop walking through the rooms and looking at the details. Everything is just beautiful and functional at the same time: from wardrobe hooks, sheets, towels and plates, to the furniture to the great stove. Only high quality materials are processed in this house, nothing is cheap or kitschy. No compromises were made here. There are some beautiful, tailor-made decor accents and otherwise there is no unnecessary stuff around! The walled garden is fantastic, but especially we loved the small viewing terrace, where you can sit in the morning sun. Scicli is a picturesque town, many beautiful restaurants are within walking distance and experiencing the Easter celebrations there was a very special experience. Thank you!

We stayed three nights and it was amazing, the apartment was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the recommendations to eat in the city that Paolo suggested were excellent. Although there is no private parking, there are many possibilities to park near the Airbnb and with the car you are 20min from various places to get to know the island better. Paolo always be super attentive and available if you get to need something, we are very happy to have stayed there. Super recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Antonino and Morena's property, of exceptional beauty. At the end of a private flowered path, in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, you will find the porch of a superb stone house, on a huge and very private courtyard of Masseria. The house is full of charm, with all the modern comforts, very well appointed, and with a splendid terrace with sea views, and a shaded garden. The lighting, in the evening, adds a very romantic touch to the whole. What a beautiful place, with a soul and a very touching poetry. Morena has given us multiple delicate touches and... we are already planning our next trip❤️.

The house and location were fantastic for us! We couldn't stop enjoying the peace and let the view wander over the beautiful countryside. The house is very nicely decorated and ideal for 2 persons. The facility is functional, without unnecessary stuff. Communication with Melissa was great. We really enjoyed it and would come back right away.

We arrived quite late (shortly after midnight), but Imerio also allowed us to check in at this late hour, which was very nice! The property has to be reached via a few stairs, so you should be reasonably mobile. But the climb is very worthwhile! The property is very large, especially for the price. The amenities are high quality, but most importantly, the view of the old town of Modica is breathtaking! You can immediately imagine a tranquil life in Sicily there. I hope we can visit Imerio's great apartment again.

Check in was very easy with a door code. The house is just off the main street of Modica, location is perfect. I'm happy I didn't choose to stay up on the hill for the panoramic view as there are really lots of stairs. The house has equally perfect view of Duomo di San Giorgio, if not better. I enjoyed spending late afternoon / early evening on the rooftop overlooking the town and duomo, it was also very atmospheric at night. Modica was quieter than I expected, but the 2-night stay was lovely. I would recommend this listing. Thanks.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, with everything you need close by, and the view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. The city itself is beautiful, with so much charm and character. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Perfect! Busy area but in a good way. We enjoyed the energy. We spent so much time of the beautiful terrace. It can’t be beat. Ortigia is an unforgettable place and we loved staying here.

Eleonora's accommodation is extremely well located with a terrace with breathtaking views of the duomo and the other side of Modica. The accommodation is very spacious, with functional equipment. Bedding is good . The street at the foot of the house is a road from Modica Alta and quite noisy with vehicles, but the room overlooking the back is quiet. We were lucky enough to come during the St. George's festivities. Eléonora kindly lent us her garage during this busy period, but in return the street was often closed to traffic, which was a plus for us. You can walk around Modica easily - a lot of walking but it's one of the charms of the city - supermarket and good restaurant nearby. We'd love to come back to this place

We had the most fantastic stay - incredible to be overlooking the market. We went everyday and cooked our wares in the lovely kitchen. Apartment is beautifully designed and loved the wine cellar - an unexpected bonus. Double glazing is also excellent- the calls of the market are so atmospheric, but when you don’t want to hear them, you can just shut the windows. Great situation in Ortigia. Responsive check in and support during our stay.

This is an amazing property which looks even better than the photos . The quality of all the items from the bed linen to the kitchenware are all top quality not what you would expect from a rental. The property was spotlessy clean throughout and the two terraces were fabulous. On saying all this the star is the host Francesco who collected us in his car from the bus terminal and on arrival at the property had lunch of delicious Sicilian food waiting for us and also a very thoughtful gift . He was also super quick in responding to any questions we had and his local recommendations for food were spot on. Five star +++ all round

Stunning beautiful apartment in Ragusa close to shops and restaurants. The place was gorgeous! Super cleans and quiet. Close to shopping, restaurants and a parking garage. I enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend this place to others.

They say perfect is impossible. Here Maria, the host, has achieved the impossible. The Airbnb is absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful as well, we had a great time relaxing and looking out at the boats. Maria was incredibly hospitable, with a flexible check in and also providing information on the area. Thank you for the wonderful and unforgettable stay!

This was a fantastic base for our 5 nights in Ortigia - accessible on foot to everything we wanted to do, about 10 minutes from the InCoop supermarket which supplied us well for cooking in the small but perfectly formed kitchen. Lots of thoughtful/artistic touches, from artworks to bathroom and kitchen supplies. A wonderful place to be, great style to the apartment, with a very comfortable bed and fantastic views from all three balconies/out of the bedroom window. Having a washing machine was super-helpful too! Manuel was a very welcoming host, explaining the way things worked and gave plenty of local recommendations plus other local advice. The description is very accurate, including the 65 steps from the street to the apartment- unless this many steps will be an issue for you, I’d highly recommend booking this apartment. If I was ever to return to Siracusa I’d definitely want to stay here again.

Great place overall. The location is excellent value for money, and the balcony with the views is magnificent! Would not recommend it for more than two people though, ideally a couple, because it is a small place and when you convert the sofa to a full bed the passage is blocked. However, for us it was good. It has it own quirks, but Rosa will do her best to help. I would recommend to stay at this place.
