My children and grandchildren spent 7 days at this property and had an amazing time. The property is gorgeous and is just as the pictures and description states it is. The property is very private and peaceful surrounded by water and nature. My family enjoyed crabbing, fishing, and kayaking. Great communication with Tamara before, during, and after our visit. I highly recommend visiting!!

Our stay in this home was such a treat! We enjoyed utilizing the kayaks to boat around in Chesapeake Bay. The hot tub was an absolute delight, perfect for evening stargazing, saw lots of shooting stars, and could see the water of the bay from the hot tub. We also enjoyed doing November cold plunges from the hot tub to the pool. While the living room is not expansive, it fit our needs for family game & movie nights. The bed linens were so comfortable, and Lori was beautifully responsive & friendly when we would reach out with a question. We also enjoyed the nearby Sandy beaches.

Best decision ever to come to Tricia’s cottage for a “month of solitude,” to work remote and enjoy some extended relaxation. Walking to the tip of New Point every evening to watch the sunset and the birds over the bay was the highlight of every day. Rarely seeing another human was another unexpected bonus. I had no idea I’d practically have this entire place to myself. Bavon and this beach house are both very special, under the radar gems that I feel so lucky to have found on Airbnb. I truly hope Airbnb doesn’t also give this secret away. Tricia was an ideal host -— I appreciated her prompt, proactive communication and how comfortable she’s made her home. I especially appreciate her opening up the HideAway Cottage for others like me to enjoy, who crave peace and quiet, sand and sunshine, water and nature, and not feeling rushed to be anywhere else but hanging with the egrets, pelicans, and blue herons.

Overall 10/10 if you are looking for a chill weekend. My mom stayed for 3 nights and used the pool, grill, fishing hear, casting net, kayaks, and the place was perfect. There were some private beaches we checked out and it was overall incredible. The best weekend we could have planned. We were able to go with the flow a ton because of how close everything was & Shelli was the best host! Checked up on us and gave us some local recommendations of things to do! Felt very safe & loved every minute of the stay!
