Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mitterberg

We were there for Formula 1, the location of the apartment was great. Beautiful roof terrace and also the other surroundings beautiful, so that you could also do something good. Shopping is just around the corner. Everything clean, great aquarium in the apartment - we felt comfortable all around.

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

A great place to stay! We stayed there with 5 people for a relaxing weekend and felt very comfortable. The apartment was just as described and very clean!! The jacuzzi, the steam showers and the view from the balcony are of course a great luxury. There are a few beautiful lakes and hikes in the area. All in all great and we would like to come again. :)

We had a wonderful week. The cottage run by Maikel and Britt is beautiful and very well located in a medium mountain setting (1350 m) located at the foot of the Hochkönig in a bucolic and relaxing setting. Maikel and Britt are very welcoming and friendly, always present for good advice. The cottage is very clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The sauna is very useful after a good walk. The village of Mühlbarch am Hochkönig is located downstairs 5 km away in a small valley in the center of many hikes and also a family ski resort. We would recommend it.

Great, modern accommodation, excellent natural location and very well appointed. We plan to come back!

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment with our two children (2 and 5). It is absolutely clean, child-friendly, and has really everything you could need. Especially the connection to the Falkensteiner Cristallo was great for us - we could use the pools and children's pools and the children's program. Just perfect for families We definitely want to come back.

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. The house is located in a very nice location in the middle of the meadows and has a nice garden. The interior is spacious and clean. Gisela is a helpful and kind host. Highly recommended

We were very warmly welcomed by Julia. The apartment was beautiful and we settled in immediately. Everything you need is there. We slept super well and enjoyed a great view every morning, whether waking up or at the breakfast table. We especially liked the service of getting fresh rolls delivered to the door every morning! A big thank you again! Our daughter was blown away by the animals and would love to jump on the trampoline forever... the environment itself is very quiet, which did not bother us at all because by car you can get to different places to explore super fast.. In the evening we could comfortably end the day by the fireplace with a glass of wine or relax in the sauna for two. We as a family can recommend this wonderful place with a clear conscience! It is definitely a great break from the stressful everyday life in the chaotic city life.

This was one of the best airbnbs I’ve been to. An absolute dream- the sweet sheep in the yard and the views from the windows are incredible. We came for Hallstatt but Obertraun was our absolute favorite. Also the host let us borrow bikes which made our trip even more incredible. The bike paths were stunning. 10/10 stay!

We had a great stay, the appartment had plenty of room to relax in, a nice kitchen with plenty of the basic supplies. Very clean, very cosy, lots of nice little touches much more space and personable than a hotel room. Parking space right outside, easy to follow instruction for checking in and out! close to all the shops and nightlife. Five minute walk to the gondola, great little find, would come back and stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you.

We rented the cottage with a group of friends and everything was absolutely great. Communication with the host was fast, everything was clear. The cottage is well equipped and absolutely clean. We were very satisfied.

The place is just splendid! We were fortunate to enjoy a sumptuous starry sky during the night, a real spectacle. The accommodation itself is perfect, it lacks absolutely nothing to feel good. The host is great: super welcoming, he gives off a beautiful energy, a lot of positivity and enthusiasm. We immediately felt comfortable. For sure, we'll definitely be back! Small amusing detail: the wooden deer head above the bed had a smile that was a little too smug to stay there during the night… so it ended up in the closet😂.

Rea's apartment is wonderful - it's very big with one vast, one normal-sized and one smaller bedroom. It's light and airy and we particularly liked that you could walk outside into the kitchen/dining room, the huge bedroom and the normal-sized one without going through the internal corridor. The one bathroom is huge and contains a bath-cum-shower. The beds are comfortable, and 5 people could easily sleep there. Rea herself was so smiling, friendly and welcoming - it was a pleasure to meet her and her son. Eugendorf village centre is about 800 metres down the road, with the shops you would need. (Prices are extremely high : but this is the case everywhere in this part of Austria.) The S-Bahn station is down the road, and there is one train an hour into Salzburg Hbf. The wifi was good in parts of the apartment, particularly the kitchen area. The piano can be played, but it needs a tune and a general revision 😀. I enjoyed playing it nevertheless. All in all we loved our stay- thanks!

We had the very best time in the apartment! Everything was super clean and very well equipped. The pool was particularly convenient in the same building. The location is great – in a few minutes you will be at the lake or at the Schafbergbahn. Ideal if you like to hike or just enjoy nature. Check-in was totally straightforward and the host was super helpful – with lots of great tips for excursions and restaurants around. The view from the balcony to the mountains was also particularly beautiful – simply fantastic. We would come back anytime!

Everything was as described, we felt very comfortable!

I was personally received in a very friendly manner by Gerlinde. The accommodation has everything you need and is very nicely located in nature. By bus, you can reach the accommodation from Salzburg main station in about 45 minutes. Thalgau city center is just under a kilometer away where you can get everything. I left early because of the weather forecast (heavy rain) but still felt very comfortable. I'd love to come back!

The stay was very calm and peaceful surroundings. You just hear the sound of birds and mountains look like they also sleep in the night and you get up in the morning with fresh air from Nature. 100% Recommended.

We enjoyed the time in the apartment very much! We were immediately impressed by the cozy and cozy atmosphere. The landlords are incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay here even more enjoyable. A small tip: In winter, you should bring snow chains, as the access in snow can be a bit demanding. Otherwise, we can only warmly recommend the apartment!

Loved the view and the nature around the place

Katrin's place is great for a getaway. She made us feel right at home quickly and provided lots of recommendations in the area. We will have to visit again as there were so many nice things to do. The house was cosy and the outdoor space was great to relax.
