Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Missouri River Township

Appreciated a quiet comfortable place to stay. --Plenty of space for everyone - yay --super comfortable beds -- yay --overall clean -- yay --guests should know that even though this is a ranch, there are steps and differing levels on the first floor in case you are traveling with elderly or mobility impaired folks. --host was very responsive to questions -- yay

Exceeded expectations in every way! This beautifully decorated four bedroom, one story home, had everything we needed for an effortless nine day stay. All appliances and TV’s were state of the art, the house was super clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. We’re in our mid seventies and appreciated how accessible everything is in this home. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. The house was well put together and homey. We enjoyed the extra touches, like toothbrushes, makeup removers, and wonderful extra snacks for the kiddos. (Especially after the hot zoo all day). There was also a fantastic “guidebook” put together by the hosts, with local restaurant menus!! The physical location was in an old district, full of old historic homes and buildings. Close to the Zoo, aquarium, and the Budweiser Museum. And our kids enjoyed running around in the back yard for the night. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay in Ballwin overall was amazing. Unfortunately there was a power outage 20 minutes after we checked in that lasted for over 30 hours. Obviously we did not know that the outage would last this long or we would have secured a new place. We did not need to secure a new place because the weather was perfect for enjoying the homes’ yard and the outdoor grill was perfect alternative. Jackie was attentive and highly communicative during the entire outage. She even offered an option for us to shower at another property of theirs and gifted us gift cards to a local breakfast establishment. We will definitely be back. The home was everything it promised even with the power outage.

This was our second stay. We stayed here last year to attend a family function and enjoyed it so much we made sure to reserve the house for this year's event. Host was super nice, proactive and quickly responded to my questions. It was such a peaceful site, we saw all sorts of animals and the back porch is a wonderful place to relax. The river is a walkable distance, and stores were only about 15 minutes away. It's a lovely house and location.

David’s home was in a great location with everything you need just a 5 minute drive away. The neighborhood is quiet yet central. Me and my family of 5 had plenty of space for ourselves.

Would highly recommend and would stay again at JaRen's. Only hiccup was the cleaning wasn't ready when we were there to check-in (the scheduled cleaner became ill), so we were asked to wait another half-hour. Just had to kill extra time. A small issue that is unlikely to happen again to another customer.

Joe's place was spotless and roomy. The high ceilings and sliding wooden doors are beautiful. We had everything we needed!

Great GREAT space: sunny, huge windows, view into tree tops of local park, great kitchen, big TV, super comfy beds/linen, convenient downtown location, easy access to highway and outlying neighborhoods, clean and welcoming. Secure parking, secure parking garage access, secure building/elevator/floor access. Extremely responsive owner and bldg manager. We needed a place for a week and this was perfect. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to book again.

We were originally booked for another Airbnb that canceled on us the same morning we were on the way. Hui accepted our request last minute, had everything ready by the time we arrived even with having another guest leaving the same day. She responded quick, called us to communicate about the air - which was perfect by the way! The place was clean, instructions clear coming & going. The neighborhood was good & within drivable distant to everything.

Great place! We loved our stay and had no issues. Plenty of space and Jose was very nice and communicative. Will stay here again next time we are in St. Louis!

great place to crash for a few days, as listing mentions anybody over 6’2 may find themselves a tiny bit uncomfortable since you have to duck the head down a littleeee bit to get through main entry and into bedroom (you’re in a basement, cozy and safe during tornado warnings) hosts also are very considerate in keeping upstairs noise to a minimum

We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope we will be able to stay here again when visiting our granddaughter and her family who lives in Belleville. I especially enjoyed the comfort of the big leather chair in the living room. The only time I was not comfortable was when trying to take a shower. It is very small, and I had to turn the water off and step out of the shower in order to have enough room to wash my legs. There are only two bath towels, so you may have to wash your towels in the washer and dryer that is in the unit. It would be nice to have a larger frying pan. The frying pan is so small that I think my wife had to fry eggs one at a time. It would be nice to have a dresser in the bedroom to put clothes in and a chair to make putting shoes on easier when dressing. Other these minor items, this was a very comfortable unit and a great value for the price. Chris is a very responsive and friendly host.
