The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

The snacks, bubble bath and other extra touches were wonderful! It was a very clean and cozy feel. The bed was very comfortable and high quality. We enjoyed overlooking the river and the view. Kevin was incredible to communicate with the entire time. Very adaptable and accommodating. It was an incredible experience!

Super cozy and beautiful place! Rose's Place was very easy to find and getting in was incredibly simple... you get to choose your own code to enter the house making it even easier for you. The house is obviously newly renovated. It is beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and equipped with new appliances. All 3 bedrooms were comfortable and had cellular blinds, ceiling fans and roku tvs. The owner is also incredibly thoughtful by having travel shampoos, conditioner, makeup wipes, etc available in the bathrooms and to-go snacks in the kitchen and bottled water in the fridge. All of these were very helpful for our 2 day stay. Communication with Keith was good! He doesn't immediately respond (which is fine by me!) but responds within a decent time. I asked for food recommendations and he gave me a really good variety to choose from. Checkout was super simple as well. He asks you to do the very basic common courtesies, making check out much less stressful! Would happily stay again!

i’m from this area originally, and was looking for some peace and calm in the country after living in the city over a decade. kate not only did my super last minute RSVP (like, 2 hours prior!) and the house was ready, with clear instructions - easy for the non-familiar. very cozy, private, homey - in the best way with everything we needed. would and will stay here again when home!

I truly can’t say enough about this place! We booked it for our “mini-moon” and it was everything we were hoping for! It was private enough for a secluded, peaceful couple’s weekend, but still only ~10min from the heart of Hermann, making it convenient to pop into town to go thrifting or grab coffee/food/drinks. The views were stunning and Melissa seems to have thought of every little detail that could make your stay better! We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this place to everyone we know until then.
