Terri's place exceeded our expectations. She was gracious and kind. The home felt familiar and comfortable, like that of family. You could feel the warmth and love of memories made over generations in this farmhouse. Everything was clean, well arranged and organized. We really enjoyed our stay here. Came to town for a short weekend trip and this was close to town. The cabin is very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely return 10/10

Pat and Leslie were awesome hosts and have a beautiful farm with pond to fish as well. Buddy was a great host too by making sure we were cozy. Will definitely stay again.

My husband and I took this trip during my sons swim meet in Cleveland, MS. We were extremely surprised at how amazing the bed and breakfast met our needs. It far exceeded our expectations. Thishya and her husband OP were exceptional host. They attending to our every need. The breakfast every morning was made fresh with the most amazing vegetables and fruit, to also include fresh coffee and amazing teas with special ginger treats on the side. We were made to feel extremely special each and every day. We spent time visiting and getting to know each other and were also given plenty of space to enjoy time on our own. They made sure that we knew the best places to eat and opportunities to enjoy the holiday presentations around town. They truly made our stay a beautiful experience. We will 100% be back to stay. We feel as though we have made friends for life and now have a new home away from home. We are so grateful to have found this little slice of paradise.

We had a fantastic stay! Quaint, clean, homey cottage on a stunning property. Beautiful pasture with horses. Plenty to do on the property between walking the pasture paths, the pool, and tennis courts. Lars was extremely friendly, attentive, and responsive to any need we had. We will definitely stay here again.

Pam’s place is beautiful and peaceful. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome, and even loaned us an umbrella and coats in a downpour! Very much a cozy, comfy spot to stay.

Jerry and Judy's place was a wonderful stay! They were so hospitable and offered us anything they could to make sure we were comfortable during our stay--and Judy made us the best sweet tea! We were not personally in the home much during our trip, but Jerry always made sure to be home to let us in whenever we needed (despite our late nights!!). Such sweet people, I wish we could've had a little more time to get to know them better!

We had the best time here . My husband and I wanted a peaceful night away and that’s exactly what we got . Beautiful, quiet place to get away and spend some quality time together .

Had a great time staying there with my two young boys. The House is plenty big especially the large living room and kitchen area. The best part to me was the large yard as well as having all the room to go see the goats, turkeys, pigs, and other animals really makes it a great place to be able to let your kids run around and not be stuck in a small house. Will definitely stay again when in town.

I was in the area which is very rural for a retriever hunt test and needed a comfortable and safe place to stay. Motels are scarce and not very appealing that are there. This is an old farmhouse which I love that was perfect for my needs. Great place to air the dogs. Very private and I was staying alone but felt very safe and secure. There are no restaurants near so bring food in. My hosts left me a dozen farm fresh eggs to use as well! Kitchen is well equipped for a rental. It suddenly turned cold and they even had the heat on for me so that it would be warm when I arrived. As in any older home there are not as many electrical outlets so take a multiple outlet with you and a short extension cord . I always travel with one. There is one there in one of the bedrooms as well. My bed was very comfortable. I will probably be back in the area for another event and definitely plan to stay again if so.

We booked for our dear elderly friends and they loved it. Would have stayed longer(I think with persuading) but it was booked for the weekend. Definitely recommending to our other out of state friends. 20/10

Dear Leda, Staying at your farm was the best thing we could have ever done. I thoroughly relaxed and was so grateful for the cool mornings and evenings spent on your welcoming front porch. The gentle sound of crickets at dusk and birds greeting each sunrise made every moment special. We walked around and enjoyed the scenery, especially watching the sunset paint the sky over your rolling pastures. Your stories about the farm and adventure you have had made us feel like welcome guests rather than just visitors. The fresh eggs for breakfast were a treat we won't forget! Thank you for taking your time to explain everything and letting us taste your fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from your garden - they were bursting with flavor that you just can't find in any store. You are truly a blessing, and your Southern hospitality touched our hearts. We're already looking forward to coming back and experiencing more of your farm's peaceful charm in a different season. If you are in the Canton, MS area this is a great place to stay. The accommodations are beautiful and tastefully decorated. We especially enjoyed the covered patio area in the evenings and early mornings as we had our coffee. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The grounds and views are stunning! I didn’t want to leave and hope to return on another visit soon.

We’ve stayed here before and it is our go to when in town! Always so very clean and beautiful! We really enjoy watching the cows and seeing little bunnies run around in the yard. We vacation a lot and this is one of our top homes to stay in! We will be back!!!

It’s a peaceful place in the bayou. Tom was a great host. If I’m in the area again, I’d absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for a high end kitchen go elsewhere. Appliances are old but all were clean and worked perfectly. Well stocked with spices and cooking supplies. Sheets were so soft and the ac was cold. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. And was so happy to let my pup get some off leash time. Thanks Tom!

I loved Bobbie’s place it was so quiet, comfortable and relaxing! Everything that we needed was there, pots and pans, Keurig, toaster… The beds were comfortable! Bobbie was very friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer… maybe next time!

Terry and Marla were fantastic! They were very responsive and helpful. I mentioned something that was breaking in the house and they arrived with a replacement within hours, even though I was just letting them know for down the road. The house itself was great. Multiple pamphlets upon arrival showed maps, places or interest, and the history within the house. I would highly recommend them. We did pick this airbnb for the fairytale gardens, playground, and the chickens. Unfortunately a lot of the birdhouses and accents were down, the chickens were gone, and the playground creaked a bit too much for my kids comfort. (wooden sets do that so my kids were most likely overreacting) The hosts and comfort at the house more than made up for any disappointment there.

Quiet stay just outside of Indianola, with easy access to great food. Hosts were extraordinarily friendly and helpful, and the farm itself is absolutely lovely. Would gladly return for my next Blues Trail adventure!

We can't say enough great things about our stay at The Gatehouse at Douglass Farms. We were celebrating my sons graduation and had 7 adults and a dog. We had everything we needed in a beautiful setting. Family came over for lunch and everyone loved the decor and uniqueness of this house. Heidi was quick to help us when we needed it! I would definitely stay here again, and I will recommend it to all of my friends going to Oxford for football games, parent's weekends or graduations!

Enjoyed a beautiful weekend in BSL. Really enjoyed the quiet location that was away from downtown but an easy drive in car or golf cart to all the restaurants, bars and shopping. Home had everything you would need for a weekend or an extended stay.

PARADISE! Troy's cabin felt like a home away from home! We enjoyed sipping our coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch in the mornings and watching the cows graze in the side field later in the day. We appreciated the fresh air and tranquility of the rural setting. The cabin was clean and cozy with useful amenities such as a washer and dryer. We appreciated the availability of wifi, too. The two beds were comfortable and the shower was easily accessible as a walk-in with a built in seat. There were 3 AC units that kept the place cool, yet could be controlled seperately for those who cant agree on a good temperature to sleep at. Everything looked clean and tidy. Our favorite "local" (~30 mins away) restaurant was Georgia Blue in Brookhaven and we found a nice splash pad/playground/ice cream shop in Wesson (~25 mins). Our toddler said "Mama, I love this cabin!" every day of our stay, and we couldn't agree more! We would definitely recommend this place!

Great place! Perfect for our family to gather. Close to everything we needed. Very very clean and pics were accurate. Very kind hostess. We will stay again
