Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

Quaint Cabin in Schroon

This quaint, rustic, one room log cabin was originally built for overflow family during the summer by my father. The cedar logs were cut from our property giving it a truly authentic Adirondack feel. The cabin sleeps 1-3 people. It's located on a large, beautiful piece of property with two main houses, a barn and garage. You are within walking distance to our private swimming hole and beach. There is a horse arena nearby. This is a great location for many attractions in the Adirondacks.

Cozy, well-appointed, inviting home in a beautiful, quiet setting. We had a wonderful, relaxing time, exactly what our family was looking for after visiting extended family for the holidays. Got lucky with the snow giving the kids a taste of what they miss living in warm weather now and the view?! Just perfect! Clear home instructions, easy check-in/check-out, lovely touch with the local wine, and host was very nice and responsive with great recommendations. Cute town with local shops nearby. Thank you so much for hosting our winter getaway!

A very comfortable stay in the middle of various beautiful towns and hikes and lakes. Jessica was a wonderful host, communicating with me throughout the entire trip, and I would definitely recommend coming here, as there are so many things to do within a 30 minute range in any direction.

If I could live there I would! So peaceful and serene. I wanted a peaceful, secluded place and this was exactly what I wanted! Margarete was responsive and a great host, I thank her for sharing her little piece of paradise. The cooking station was perfect, and we had plenty of wood for the wood stove. The cabin was cozy and plenty warm even though it was cold out. My dog loved running around. I just wish we could have enjoyed the lake! We will be back, highly recommend this little cabin!

This charming pet friendly house was the perfect getaway. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Traffic is minimal on the road helping enhance the atmosphere of solitude. The view from the house is incredible. We kayaked Beaver Pond right from the dock, which is literally steps from the back door. Would definitely go again.

Had such a memorable time there, Paula was very kind to show us the nearby restaurants and always responded back right away if we had any questions. The area is always quiet and the small road is almost always empty so it’s nice to have a light walk there. Plenty of shops and restaurants just mins away as well as hikes and even waterfalls. Would highly recommend this stay!
