Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mineral Wells

Had a great stay! It was a cloudy cold weekend, but definitely we enjoyed hanging out in the house and in the hot tub enjoying the view!

The Hobbit House was as much a forest inside, as out! A completely unique setting and structure with every detail thought through. We lacked nothing and enjoyed everything. The waterfall was such a nice bonus and the wildlife was evident all around us. We saw a bobcat in the woods. Butterflies were constant companions. Birds a-plenty. Truly a magical retreat!

I felt so cozy and comfortable. Staff was friendly and responsive. Easy to find and close to interstate and good restaurants close. I would stay again!!!

Serenely peaceful - exactly what we needed! We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The amount of butterflies, wildflowers, morning birdsong, and gorgeous scenery surrounding this lush little escape is just idyllic. Thanks again for a wonderful getaway!

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at stay. The house was very clean and comfortable with lots of space for a large group. The pool was a little dirty, but we still enjoyed swimming. The yard looked like it had not had any attention other than mowing. The landscape all needed trimmed and could have made the front and back yard even more beautiful. The dock was fabulous and we enjoyed fishing. The grill in the back yard needed a good cleaning or replacing. Would definitely stay here again, the hosts were very nice!

Kathy is a great host! She is very responsive and made sure we were taken care of. The place is also very unique. Love the atmosphere!

We stayed for my daughters TCU graduation and felt right at home the moment we arrived. Both Jerry and Anna were super friendly and welcoming and even had items in the fridge for us just in case we were hungry or thirsty. They were responsive to my questions and the home was extremely well placed from TCU as well as quiet. Probably the most quiet place we have stayed. The house was cozy and rooms were huge with a nice work desk in case you have to work. We would definitely recommend and stay here again when coming to Fort Worth! Thank you!

Just like the pictures! Everything was in place, real central a/c with controls! Water heater provided plenty of hot water being on demand and not a tank. A real quiet historic neighborhood just blocks from bars and resturants. This "fairmont" area has some older bldgs close by selling all kinds of real old fixtures from older houses. We found some old brass door knobs, drawer pulls, hinges etc etc. Bought some old coat hooks. Claw foot bath tub wouldn't fit in my suitcase. And a fresh home made bakery blocks away. Our 21st time using airbnbs and it's near the top!

We have rented this loft several times. Always clean, and a great place in downtown Mineral Wells. Within walking distance of many great boutiques and pubs & dinners. Or just stay in and play pool and relax. Highly recommend.

So this is a nice place to relax. The views of the sunset are great. The place itself is nice, a lot like my cabin in South Dakota, so for us it was great. It’s not fancy but less fancy has its benefits. It is nice, however. The road in is pure Texas back country and will freak you out the 1st time, but not in a bad way, in a pioneer explorer kinda way. If you have kids they’d love it. We anchored our boat right out front for a few days but it’s shallow so if you have a deep-v type boat you might have to wade through a couple feet of water. But owning a boat you do that anyway if you’re living at all. So that was really nice although it makes it convenient to be more busy than you had planned, every vacationers curse. The kitchen amenities were fine, the bathroom was fine, it was all and all a nice place to stay. We were there for a week and kinda sad to leave the place. You will not have data on your devices and you’ll be surprised how much you like it. I have sprint and could text and call, which was a shame. My daughter has another provider and had no service at all, which was nice. The town of Graham is close, maybe 15ish miles, and it has everything, Walmart, many restaurants, all kinds of stuff, so it’s not like you’re a hundred miles from society if you want it, which you won’t. I’d recommend the place. The host Heidi is a great communicator but on the other hand, when you’re a guy like me that doesn’t want to communicate, she’s good at that, too, which was one of the nice parts Heidi probably didn’t even know she was doing, but I appreciated it, just being able to be and not be disturbed. Clean up after yourself, it’s a little home and not like a hotel that you trash and run. This was my 1st bnb type deal and I dug it a lot. No more expensive than a hotel, but a lot more like home.

Absolutely beautiful place this is our second time staying here and we love it every time!!

We had a great time on our last OK family trip on the season. Very comfortable place to stay and good location. We will be back.

Place was an older home but very comfortable. The A/C worked fantastic and was cool upon arrival. Very friendly neighbors. One thing that would make this place better would be a boat dock which we knew didn’t have one but the pool was worth it. Very responsive with messages especially since we booked last minute. Beds were comfortable and plenty of sitting room inside the house and screened in porch. We enjoyed the grills for outside cooking. Very large refrigerator and freezer for cooking meals. The kitchen was not 100 percent but nothing bad. I think the problem are guest not treating the place with respect and making sure they clean up after themselves. We had a great time and will book again!

Great location. Home is nicely furnished, well-stocked, and very clean. Amazing communication with the hosts before and during my visit. Hosts were very friendly and genuinely cared about the quality of my visit.

Both David and Lizzie were great! Very welcoming and friendly. The barndominium was exactly as advertised and some. We loved the stay and hope to make it back in the future.
