This artist and architect-designed house is clad in larch and well insulated with wool felts. The access to the separate loft of our eco-house is via an external staircase. A large south facing window in the main room overlooks the front garden and Shiplaw burn. There is a separate workspace/single bedroom for an extra guest. We are located within one of the biggest habitat restoration projects in Europe and are five minutes walk from a regular bus service to Edinburgh and across the Borders.

The beautiful Pentland hills are within walking distance from the house, and are perfect for dog walking or hiking.

Access to the house and garden is through an electric gate with ample private parking & car charger. There is one other house in the garden where the owners live. The house has a large kitchen/dining area, with a separate laundry room, lounge, 3 bedrooms (king/double/twin), shower room and bathroom.
