Our guest suite is in a quiet residential area in Balerno; a village at the foot of the scenic Pentland Hills. A beautiful spot for walkers and nature lovers. To visit the city take a 25 minute car drive or the 44 Lothian bus at the end of the road for a 45 min bus ride to Edinburgh City Centre. Complimentary milk, coffee, tea and sugar plus cereal for your first breakfast. Shops, restaurants, bars, cafe & takeaways within a short walk. A parking spot on the drive is available on request.

The Den

The Den is an area separated from the main house by a sliding door. It has patio doors onto a small balcony providing its own ndependent access. Lovely garden. The 'kitchen' is limited and is part of the laundry room. It has a Meile oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine, kettle, toaster and sink but not really suitable for big cook ups. Many buses to city centre. Easy access to the hills, Water of Leith, East and West Loithian and the airport if travelling by car. There is free parking.

The Green sits within Ratho Park Steading: a stunning Scottish courtyard stable (built 1826; converted 2021). It borders Ratho Park Golf club (area of outstanding beauty), a walk from the heart of Ratho village, 8miles from Edinburgh centre. Rooms are stylishly furnished (with wifi), and proudly eco-friendly (ground source heated). The Neuk location will allow guests to enjoy easy access to a wide range of restaurants, high street shops, and entertainment facilities just 5 to 20 minutes away via excellent public transport. If you are feeling a little adventurous, you can also explore some stunning beaches on the East Coast with a 45 minute train journey away.
