Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Middletown

I would like to stay Lisa’s property looked just like the pictures, but it was honestly even better! We have been to many nice Airbnbs but this was the nicest. It was the special touches that were so thoughtful….beautiful fresh roses in the kitchen and bathroom, battery candles that came on in the evening, muffins, snacks, dog treats, shower steamers. So very welcoming. We had such a relaxing few days. The home is extremely clean with very comfortable decor and bedding and lovely thick bath towels. The master bath is spa like. We enjoyed sitting out on the huge deck while my son was fishing right across the street. If we get back to the area, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Lisa for having us.

We really enjoyed staying at Nancy's little farmhouse. It was perfect for us. We especially loved the back porch room where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful view as well as seeing the variety of farm animals in the backyard. The house was as mentioned in her listing and had everything we needed. I would recommend this farmhouse to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay. I would love to go back someday.

The house was wonderful! We stayed for my daughter’s graduation and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The special touches like having the kitchen so well stocked and toiletries in all of the rooms was especially nice, and the house had plenty of room for everyone to relax and spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay while in town for a family wedding. The house had everything we needed for our family, which included two toddlers and a dog. The deck was a great feature and they even had extras for pets (like a dog bed) at the home. Would recommend!

Amazing house! We rented the lake house and guest house to spend time with family and friends during our son’s graduation at Wesleyan. I stayed in the guest house. It was so cozy with great modern amenities. It was the perfect place to relax and close to the school. Being close the lake was a definite plus. I highly recommend!!!

We had a marvelous stay with our friends and dogs. The location and grounds were perfect for getting to our daytime event and the Dragonfly Garden was serene for relaxing in the evening enjoying tasty delivered dinners. Thanks, Todd. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area!

My wife, friends, and I had an awesome time, and Thomas is very thoughtful. Second time renting from him, and last time I mentioned we made smores. For my wife, it was her first time. Guess what? He left us a smores kit! Thanks again, Thomas!

Me and a few friends spent the weekend at Lauren’s since we had a wedding in East Haddam. Lauren’s home was lovely, and we especially loved the friendly chickens in the backyard! The beds were extremely comfortable and the home was perfect for our needs. Thank you so much for having us!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. I spent quite a bit of time just exploring the grounds with my dog. It was too cold to use the pool but it was still beautiful to look at and a nice view while I was cooking/washing dishes. I appreciate the tour I received when I arrived to show me around. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to book again in the future.

Beautiful home, very clean, spacious and comfortable to stay with the family. We used the grill on multiple occasions and it was easy to use. The fire pitt was also enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked, would bring own source of caffeine if you’re picky with your coffee though. Stephen, the host was very responsive and easy to reach when asked questions. The one thing I would recommend is to check in with the host if the pool is available to use prior to booking. Overall a great experience, would stay with them again.

The pool house is so cute and the outdoor patio is gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Great place to stay if you want to stay near New Haven but also want to enjoy quiet away from the city. Sue is a responsive and very generous host!

Patrick and Monica were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were communicative, helpful, and especially great with our dogs. We loved the property and left feeling fully rested. We would love to come back!

Only complaint would be the noise from road during the morning commute

Lots of space to hang out. Beautifully remodeled. Loved the bits and pieces in the pantry. Had regular coffee pot as well as keurig. Well stocked kitchen to make our big breakfasts.

We loved our stay here for when we visited New Haven! The place was clean and worked perfect for our dog! We loved the farm outside and the peaceful and private area outside. Would stay here again!

Immaculate space. Comfy couch and bed. Soft linens. Easy check in. Nice, historic neighborhood. Highly recommend!

No showers amenities. Same day reservation took 3-4 hours to receive check-in instructions. Incorrect door code to access the space (host had to provide 3-4 different lock combos because her housekeeper changed it and didn’t communicate it). Not enough towels. Not enough toilet paper. You can heat everyone walking and talking in the hallways. I was approved a late check out of 12noon. Host did not communicate to the house keeper and I was woken up by several knocks at 10:30am.

Great little spot. This rental has everything you need. Forget something-they got it. Very clean and modern with thoughtful touches. Had an extended stay here and extended for longer. 1 bedroom with loft that owner made into another bedroom for me. Loved it. Great deck, stunning lake view from all the windows. Owner very responsive to any needs. 100 percent recommend. Neighborhood lovely and quiet. Amazing respite.

We were so happy to find this lovely hidden gem in our family’s neighborhood. It is so much better than the local hotels we’ve had to endure thru the years when we come to visit. The owner has done an amazing job with his properties and we appreciate how comfortable we felt. We used one room with the 2 twin beds as our “dressing room” which was closest to the bathroom. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room. Primary bedroom has a Queen bed and nice lounge chair. The neighbor is quiet and safe. We look forward to our next stay!

This place is one I highly recommend when visiting this area. Everything was amazing and the host is very respectful of the space. I will definitely be booking this place again.

Leah’s place was perfect for our little family… we needed a place to stay with our 3 dogs while we refinished the flooring at our house. We love Glastonbury and were excited to stay for a few days. The house was close to the highway to get to work but still had a country feel. The dead end street made it feel safe to walk our dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed to be comfy while away from home. There were a few things marked to be renovated while we were there however, it didn’t affect our stay. Leah was so responsive and sweet to our family. I would definitely stay there again!
