Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, the river was gorgeous, and the cabin was cozy and rather spacious! We had a campfire in the firepit and watched a few of the DVDs (big selection!). The kids had fun waving to the neighbors who drove by. Great weekend, great cabin, great host!

The Carriage House was just as seen in the photos, absolutely wonderful! All the amenities you could need, lovely outdoor space, and such a great location! We loved the house, the chickens, the fresh eggs! Lena was very responsive and had everything set up so beautifully. We loved our time at the carriage for the weekend! Would definitely book again and recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We would highly recommend staying at this property. It is very cool and one of the best cleaned place we have stayed. Joan was very helpful and described her property spot on. We visited The Abbey for dinner which was great and learned about a tour of the property and we loved learning about the history or getting to see the chapel.

We loved the quiet, beautiful neighborhood; we loved learning the history of the home as well as the history of the area (we even got a fantastic rundown of the Battle of Pilot Knob by your local visitor center curator!); we loved Elephant Rocks, Caledonia, and Johnson’s Shut-Ins; and we loved our family movie nights in your family room.
