Holiday rentals with a kayak in Mid North Coast

We had such a lovely time at Moonie’s! The accommodation was perfect in every way. As soon as you walk in, you feel immediately calm and at peace. The creek is absolutely stunning, full of wildlife and the kayak was so fun for the kids. Two days were not enough! Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, even cooking us two delicious curries. They couldn’t have been more wonderful and accomodating. We will be back!

Beautiful home. Relaxing location by the water. Perfect home for families with kids! Sue had loads of toys to keep the kids entertained.

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. Beautiful home, everything in the kitchen that you needed. Pool was clean and fun. Black cockatoos flying over every morning was an absolute treat! Plenty of space in house for kids and I. Hosts were excellent. Would absolutely come back here again!! Thanks Mark for having my tribe stay.

Richard was a fantastic host! The accommodation was comfortable, and in a great location. It is a very family-friendly place, with everything we needed to feel right at home. Communication was smooth and easy throughout our stay. I truly felt welcomed and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families, visiting the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna's place and can't reccommend it high enough. Anna was super helpful and accomodating throughout our stay. The house has great internet connection and wifi and really does look as good as the pictures suggest. Check-in and out were seamless and Anna was always on-hand to answer any questions we had. I really can't rate this place high enough, will absolutely look forward to staying here again!

Amazing secluded home, great for a large group with plenty of rooms and beds, amazing pool,spa and games room for entertainment, outdoor BBQ and pizza oven for dinner was great. The hosts were very helpful and even gave us the option to cancel last minute due to poor weather which was very kind. Highly recommend.

Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

Well appointed. So many items supplied in kitchen and bathrooms that I have not seen at any other AIRBNB. Easy access. Very clean and well stocked with cleaning items and supplies incase of an accident or spill so you clean up and continue to enjoy your stay. Location close to cafes and restaurants at Lemon Tree Passage. So many recreational items in shed to help you enjoy the coastal location and water ways. Julie took the time to reach out to us when we did not reply to emails as we were travelling and not opening our laptop and lodging in every day about dietary requirements re type of milk to put in fridge. In conclusion well done Julie you are a credit as a super host.

We arrived late in the dark. It was easy to find, no stress of getting into the cottage and it just felt like home. There was everything you needed and more. It was truly lovely after such a long drive. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you! 😊

Great place, with amazing views. Lisa's place brought our families together and helped create some fantastic memories. Neighbours are very friendly. The water view and ocean breeze was quite relaxing. We even had a friendly neighbour selling some great bananas from their garden. Very private setting where you can go for strolls whilst enjoying the view.

wow! where do I start. the serenity? the amazing views? the super clean well equipped cottage? the friendly thoughtful host? we loved everything about Sam's place, from the cosy fireplace to the sun-filled deck, the well maintained walking trails, secure yard for our pooch, comfy bed, ....the goats! We are already planning to return next year.

Grant was excellent host and we enjoyed staying at his place very much. Encourage people who want to take rest and recharge from busy city life!

We know this lovely area fairly well and had just cleared out our place nearby prior to settlement of its sale. Steve's place was a lovely place to stay after we had cleared ours out and it just suited our needs. We intend staying again as we will still be visiting close family in the area from time to time and Steve's place ticks all our boxes.

We loved Mansfield on Manning. My family stayed for a week and spent a few days mountain biking in the excellent set up in the nearby Kiwarrak state forest, swam in the lovely pool, kayaked, did an easy bike ride in Taree along the river, walked our dog on the beach at Old Bar, had a few lovely meals at the cafes recommended and read a lot on the deck overlooking the property and river. Highly recommend for a great get away.

Had a great stay at Conan's place. Close to where we needed to go and very nice place to stay. Will be recommending this place and staying here again!

Cassandra was kind enough to accept our booking with very little notice after a last-minute cancellation left us without accommodation for the long weekend. We arrived at a lovely little cabin in a super peaceful location - only 5 minutes from the sweet Mylestom General store and beach, 10 minutes from the boardwalk at Urunga and 15 minutes to beautiful Bellingen. Cabin was super warm and cosy, with floor to ceiling glass windows letting in the morning sunshine - such a nice change from the recent weeks of non-stop rain! Fantastic outdoor firepit area and the dogs loved galivanting around the giant grassy paddock.

It's clear how much thought Liesel has put into creating this space. The colours, textures and light of the cottage are warm and comforting, and it feels so private and secluded looking out at the surrounding farmland. I loved the deep claw foot bath and outdoor shower, as well as chatting over the fence to the neighbouring cows. Will definitely be back!
