Our stay at this beautiful home was incredible. The views of the bush and lake are amazing, and all the rooms of the house were stunning. You feel super secluded but with everything close by. Ken was great with communication.

Our family love it. Worth to travel cause we planed to stay down Newcastle or Terrigal but last minute and we decide to drive up…. spectacular view of sunrise. Step to the beach, wish we can come back when it is warmer Clean and spaces rooms. and Graeme was great host and response on time.

What an incredibly blissful three nights! Grovewood Cottage is truly special - its cosy interior with everything you need, its stunning exterior with bountiful vegie patches, garden and perfectly manicured lawns, and the beautiful bird life. We had such a wonderful stay and I’m sure we’ll be back. Linda and Richard are such warm and inviting hosts - their little touches like a nightlight for our 7 year old was one of the many gestures that make their place and Grovewood Cottage so special.

Lovely, comfortable home with quality furniture and facilities. Excellent location - so good to be able to walk out the back door, along a path, to a dog-friendly beach! South West Rocks is a beautiful area with lots to do; we loved that the town was walking distance away. Very easy check-in and out.

What an incredible long weekend! The house is great, has absolutely everything you need and you cannot beat that view! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back :)

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely family and pet-friendly house! The communication with the host was smooth and attentive, making the entire process effortless. The location is truly wonderful—peaceful and secluded, yet still conveniently close to everything we needed. Our family and pets felt right at home, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting. Our stay at Matariki was nothing short of exceptional. Our host, Julie, was warm, welcoming, proactive in her communication and quick to respond to questions. The welcome basket was great and Julie’s sourdough is worth fighting for! The location is very convenient and peaceful and the accommodation is very comfortable. This will be a return address for us … for sure.

The cute Coastal Getaway hosted by Irene felt super homely. We stayed the night on the way up to the Gold Coast and she was super accomodating with a late arrival from Sydney ensuring that we had easy access. Super easy to get to and find. Would highly recommend!

Judy and Martyn's place is peaceful with lots of beautiful sun shining up the accommodation. Highly recommend if you are looking to start around Port Macquarie.

Loved staying here. Execptionally clean, beautifully designed and decorated. Benji and Katy were the prefect hosts, whilst my privacy was completed respected they were available if needed. In fact I liked it so much, i will be staying in another ones of their apartments next week!

My daughter and I stayed here on our back from Qld to Sydney. Kaye and David were great easy to communicate with. Great supply of coffee (we are nurses) and breakfast supied was just right. Bathroomis awesome comfortable bed and beaut linen. Easy walk to the beach with kangaroos, scrub birds and nature on the way. Lovely spot

This place is actually better than it looks in the images. Clean and private. Everything you need if you want to stay a few days or longer. Bed was great. Bathroom also excellent. Close enough to town to walk. Foxtel and execllent wifi. What's not to like?! Hosts were very friendly and accommodating - offered us a late checkout without prompting. We were exteremely happy we chose this property.

Nice place with walking distance to the beach. Will definitely come back again during summer time. Loni is very responsive and helpful.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Absolutely lovely beach-side stay, lots of natural light inside and kept very clean. Cafe, restaurants and chemist within short walking distance. Photos are accurate, homely feels and simple instructions/guest book details. Will book again.

Have had a lovely week at Mark and Leah's apartment in shoal bay. Loved the views and the place was great, everything you needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Shoal Bay itself has a really laid back vibe, with great places to eat right at your doorstep. On our drive home we were already planning on coming back, which speaks volumes on how much we enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.
