Hidden Gem in Newcastle – Thoughtful, Understated, Perfect This place truly surprised me — in the best way. The space was beautiful yet understated, with everything I needed right at my fingertips. What made it unforgettable was the host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. I was greeted with beautiful complimentary drinks and felt instantly at ease. A rare gem!

What a wonderful apartment. It was spacious, clean and the balcony added relaxation. The apartment is about 15 mins drive from town but close to a wonderful beach track that goes into town (via a wonderful coffee bar on the beach) or the lighthouse. I couldn’t believe how quiet the beaches were…..just perfect Samantha was the best ever host, she was so generous with the treats and bread and milk that she left us and was great to deal with. She even went out of her way to buy us extra strong coffee!! We really enjoyed our stay and would def recommend

It was a beautiful and serene location with peaceful views from the balcony. All the amenities you need were provided.

Great place. We are very familiar with the area and Rohan place was great, intimate and had everything that you need. We were camping for couple of days and got lots of rain so decided last minute to book this home and only book few hours before arriving and everything was ready very quickly. Had a great time.

It’s a fantastic stay. Beautiful Lakehouse. Great for a family of 4. Got plenty to do at the premises, sauna by the lakeside, kayaking at Cooma Bay and cooking in the beautiful kitchen with the freshly picked vegetables from the garden. Also, there are two lovely doggies, Matilda and Bella checked us in and out. Amazing host!

We had a lovely stay! House looks exactly like the photos and was plenty spacious for a family of 4. Hosts were very responsive with any issues that arose. It was well equipped and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this stay.

My only criticism of our stay, was that it wasn’t long enough! This gorgeous property was an absolute delight - perfectly positioned close to all the amenity you could wish for, while still offering a quiet and peaceful retreat, and a spacious and secure outdoor area for furry guests. Ben was a delight to communicate with - we hope to be back again soon (this time for a few nights).

Burgess House is a beautiful house, full of character and also modern kitchen and bathroom. We loved the peaceful, quiet surroundings while also being in town. It’s a very comfortable house and we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was great for a local gymnastics comp - it was really warm, spacious and the well stocked fridge was a big hit with the kids. Pat was super responsive and flexible with booking changes once we got the exact competition dates. Thank you!

Fabulous house with all the comforts of your own home. Nichole was a great host, helping us out with special requests. The house was warm and the extra blankets were a welcome addition on the comfy couches whilst watching television. Highly recommend the house on the hill.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Absolutely lovely beach-side stay, lots of natural light inside and kept very clean. Cafe, restaurants and chemist within short walking distance. Photos are accurate, homely feels and simple instructions/guest book details. Will book again.

Wow, this garden apartment is fabulous. Arrival was easy & straight forward. On entering, I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is so spacious, bright & airy and the proportions are very generous. A rare find indeed. The kitchen is lovely with everything you could possibly need. The bedroom is roomy and the bed devine, so comfortable. The bathroom is large & bright with a spacious shower & a separate bath.. There is a well equipped gym and a lovely swimming pool, all on the same level as the apartment.. both well used by us.. We loved it so much that we will make a night stop, room only, on our return.
