B - Farm Suite on a Cattle Farm

Grace ConradRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Carole's was wonderful!! Peaceful and relaxing! We were a bit sad that the farm store that is mentioned in the listing has been permanently closed, as we were excited to shop there. The animals were super friendly and so was the host! We are hoping to come back to another relaxing retreat with friends.

Sleeper Island Waterfront- *Dog friendly*

JohnRating, 5 stars23 months ago
We had a lovely stay at this cottage despite the weather not being the greatest. We rented for 8 days over the 4th of July week, of which half the days were rainy. However, we were able to cruise around to several spots to watch fireworks on different days while also watching a couple of shows from the cottage dock. You get great sunset views from the end of the dock. The boat dock was large enough for our 25' pontoon while also providing a nice spot to swim and fish in between rain showers (caught a few nice size largemouth bass). The cottage was great and had plenty of space for our family with two full size bathrooms, living area and plenty of bedrooms to spread out. A nice feature of the cottage is the large deck overlooking the lake and rattlesnake island. Since the weather was wet, we didn't try exploring the trails on the island. It is a bit of a hike up the stairs from the dock to the deck & cottage, but not as bad as many cottages on the lake (and good exercise).

Midcentury retreat at Zulip Farm

JesseRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This place is simply incredible. A vintage mid century modern gem overlooking a lovely farm with mountains on the horizon. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything you could desire to host large family get togethers. Philip was extremely responsive and friendly throughout. My only regret is not knowing how to play the piano. We can't wait to come back in the warmer months to see the farm and garden in full effect. 10/10 recommend.

Cozy, private, studio apartment in the woods

CameronRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a wonderful two-day stay at Brett and Cindi’s place. The rental is located in a beautiful part of New Hampshire, with easy access to Lake Sunapee and some fantastic trails nearby—perfect for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The space was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, making it a great place to relax. Brett and Cindi were very kind and welcoming hosts. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking to explore the area!

Siding was very communicative throughout the entire process. My family enjoyed the cottage to ring in the New Year together. We had such a peaceful time. The house was just as described. We were lucky with weather and were able to enjoy a New Year’s Eve hike with great views

Quaint Cottage on 15 acres with beautiful views.

AmyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
the minimal photos and description didn’t do justice to the 1790’s era cottage. It has two private sleeping areas that would work for two couples although sound does travel due to spaces between the floorboards. It’s spacious and surroundings are lovely. It’s well equipped with dishes and towels but needing either bar stools or a functioning table and chairs. The grounds beg to be explored which instructions say can be arranged in advance with the owner. We had not done so and thus were restricted by an extraordinarily effective and large barking watchdog large dog that keeps the premises secure from wild animals and wandering humans. Owner was otherwise very accommodating.

Maple Cottage @ Heritage Farm

MichaelRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The perfect balance between the comforts of home and a rustic, farm getaway. Hot water is limited, but there is plenty enough to shower. There is no wifi, but there is strong cell signal, and honestly a feature in my opinion. It's what you want in a place like this. We fell asleep to total silence and wake up to the sounds of roosters. We enjoyed breakfast family style at the restaurant on premises. We spent the morning getting to know the many animals on the farm. Our afternoons were spent hiking or berry-picking. Our evenings were spent watching fireflies after the sun goes down. Our only regret is that we didn't use the firepit. In addition to all this, we were left small gifts throughout that made us feel uniquely welcome. We are already looking forward to the return visit!

Webster Lake Escape!

SherriRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Great spot for a lake vacation! House is large and the whole space is nice & updated, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean. Big backyard and short walk down to the waterfront. I usually walked down and my husband would drive the truck down with anything we needed. Next time we will pack the 4 wheeler after seeing the neighbors use them! Private beach and dock. Peaceful, quiet lake. Will definitely be back next summer! Hosts were awesome and responded right away to any questions.

Beautiful Rustic Working Farm. Peace & Fresh Eggs!

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I have been on AirBnb for 15 years, traveled all over the US and Europe. This was the most well-stocked home I have ever been in and one of the best experiences I've ever had. Anything you may need from first aid items, condiments in the fridge to spices in the cabinets. Steve was absolutely awesome. He helped us build a fire and we fed the cows with him. Truly a good person. The home is so peaceful, the land is gorgeous. We spent our days just listening to the birds and the wind. Catching up with friends by the fire. Playing cards and having a family style dinner at the large farmhouse table with the wood stove roaring. I have not seen this many stars out in the sky since I lived in the New Mexican desert. It was fabulous! A couple things - follow Ken's directions. These roads into the farm are rough and dirt with pot holes and mud in some places. Take your time. It's a farm, it smells like one and there's flies and spiders. Bring your boots and embrace the farm life!

Intermaples: The Bow House - A Retreat on 50 Acres

AmnaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just be sure towels and things that guests will use are respected. We had to bring towels that we trusted after seeing the towels and bathmats washed together. It would have been better to feel we could trust some of the items in the house left for guests to use.

"Loon Point" Waterfront Meredith 7/25-8/5 Avail!

CarolRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The joy of this place is the lake and the indoor downstairs living area that seems to almost float right on top of it. Do bring a kayak and/or paddleboard if you like those activities. There are a few motorboats on the lake, but most seem respectful, and the lake is generally serene. The house also has a generous deck with a lovely view of the lake. If you can drag yourself away from the lake, there is so much great hiking nearby. The house is dated but comfortable, and the kitchen is very well stocked. As Andrea knows, some windows need replacing--when we were there, the nights were getting quite cold, and there is no heat! Overall, Andrea and her house manager were very responsive and kind to us, and we adored the beautiful setting.

The Barn

TammaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is such a magical place! After a long drive, arriving at The Barn was more than we could have hoped for. Very cozy, clean, and no detail overlooked. We loved the deck and enjoyed having tea and listening to the birds. The location is perfect - private and secluded, but close enough to town to grab a quick dinner. We were welcomed by Patsy, the sweetest dog. We also got to meet the horses! Aurora was very responsive and helpful, and we are so thankful for a wonderful night in this beautiful corner of the world. Truly a gem!

We had an amazing stay at Wellsweep! The house is spacious, easily accommodating our large group with plenty of room for everyone. It’s equipped with so many thoughtful amenities, especially for young kids—there were pack and plays, high chairs, and a playroom that made it feel like a home away from home. We also loved the privacy and tranquility of the property—it truly felt like a peaceful retreat. Would highly recommend Wellsweep for anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and family-friendly getaway!

Stone Pond Farm. Restored farmhouse, country life.

Brenda was a kind, generous, and communicative host. Location is close to everything in town and the state route. Overlooking the pond and farm provides opportunities to observe wildlife including birds, ducks, and turtles. Very peaceful and quiet.
