Our historic lakeside inn/bed & breakfast has 18 individually decorated guest rooms waiting for you - at a unique setting on Kezar Lake, one of New Hampshire's most beautiful lakes. We're located in the quiet village of North Sutton (just south of New London in the Sunapee/Dartmouth region of New Hampshire and mere minutes from Mount Sunapee, a winter delight that boasts the finest snow in New Hampshire and a summer adventure land with zip lines and other exciting activities). For generations, Follansbee Inn on Kezar Lake has beckoned adults and older children who long for an active, natural and environmentally friendly vacation. Our guests come from near and far to enjoy outdoor activities and year-round fun. There are adventures and activities for each and every season, so please enjoy unlimited free use of our kayaks, canoes, rowboat, sailboat, bicycles and snowshoes. Our guests enjoy a delicious and hearty breakfast, influenced by the Innkeepers' Louisiana heritage. Entrees range from down home cookin' (baked cheese grits, praline bacon, pecan buttermilk waffles, stuffed French toast) to succulent masterpieces ( John Besh's Angel Biscuits, Asparagus, Smoked Salmon, and Gruyere Cheese Omelets, Eggs Beatrice, etc.). Guests can choose to dine alone at one of our two-top tables, or dine with a group of four to eight at one of our larger dining tables. We are offering two suites through Airbnb; one suite (the Family Suite) has a queen in one room and two twins in a connected room, with a bathroom that has a claw foot tub/shower. The second suite (Jennifer) has a queen bed in the main area and a twin bed in the expanded suite area. The bathroom has a tub/shower. Both suites are air conditioned.

Dennis and his family were excellent hosts. They made me feel completely at home from the minute I arrived. My bed was comfortable, the air conditioning a great relief (I was there during an uncharacteristic New Hampshire heat wave!), my breakfasts were delicious and filling, and I very much enjoyed my time there. This is such a cute and quiet getaway! We were in NH for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay. The pricing is great, Dennis made us breakfast and the eggs came straight from the chickens out back! The room was clean and came with lots of towels. Though other people were there, the house never felt crowded! Highly recommend!

Friendly host, fantastic communication and easy and flexible. We stayed here only one night so we didn't get to appreciate the breakfast. Overall a great stay, the room was large (a suite really) and was perfect for two and a dog. There was some noise from in the building, which is expected for a home of this age. Very great experience!

The Inn was a perfect spot for us to stay in comfort between ski days! The views are beautiful —lake and mountains— and the staff were friendly. The Innkeeper as well as Mike (who was maintaining the grounds) went above and beyond for us when help was needed. These are amazing humans who care about the experience you have when you stay with them. Would return, and would recommend!
