Small cozy cabin that my father originally built for hunters. After I graduated from high school I lived in it for 12 years. 2 of which was with my now husband. Small open cabin with loft. Ladder to loft space and two twin beds. Small bathroom. Kitchen. Not much privacy, we live down the road, but are there at least twice a day taking care of our pigs, chickens and gardens. My wife and I were in need of a rustic retreat, and Jaclyn's cabin provided just that. Likely the best Airbnb experience we've had, the Outlander made us feel at home right away. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the old world charm of the cabin which also featured the modern amenities that kept us comfortable during our stay. Jaclyn and her co-hosts, Diane and Paul, were incredibly responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we had all that we needed. When our plans got rained out, Paul was kind enough to show us the maple syrup operation and give us a tour of the property's trails from the comfort of a covered side by side. Everything about the cabin, from the listing to the instructional videos and the local goodies, was incredibly thoughtful and intentional. It's always hard to end a vacation and return to reality, but it's rare to have a hard time saying goodbye to an accommodation, which was the case with the Outlander. Thank you, Jaclyn, Diane, and Paul!

The best weekend getaway space for when you need to be one with the nature. Super secluded. The property is well maintained, the perfect balance of seclusion while having all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Gerry and Don were very responsive and helpful at every stage. The space was cleaned and heated before we arrived. Both Don and Gerry were friendly and proactive. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay in this secluded cabin. The property is full of history andwe absolutely enjoyed the mini hike to the abandoned mansion. The views from there were amazing. The house has very clear cut instructions in the unlikely event you cant reach the hosts. They were very responsive by the way and very close if needed. Cabin is hodden in the trees for privacy. Star view was great compared to the city. Great hosts, great stay.

Randy & Kim’s place was the absolute nicest done & cleanest airbnb I’ve ever been to & I’ve stayed at a lot of very nice places! The beds, pillows, couch, linens & towels were all extremely comfortable too! It was stocked with everything we ended up needing that we hadn’t thought to bring which was a relief! The fireplace by the water & games made for great entertainment! The kayaks were available however we ran out of time to enjoy however the hosts even answered questions & let us know in advance that preservers were provided! Randy & Kim were both very friendly & extremely helpful! I can’t thank them enough for providing such a wonderful place for my family to stay during my daughter’s graduation!

Gorgeous space in a beautiful location! Rustic , beautifully curated inside and out. A fantastic place to unplug, unwind, and reconnect. Secluded and private, but just a short drive to town. There was a record player , incredibly comfortable bed, cute outdoor shower . They even gave us a bottle of locally made maple syrup. The live and care put into this cabin really shines through! Can’t wait to visit again
