Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Menthon-Saint-Bernard

very nice cottage with a view of Mont Blanc. We had a great, relaxing and quiet vacation. Possibility to take walks at the Col du Cliergeon just above.

Family of 6 aged from 6 years to 72 years old and we all had such a great time at this beautiful house. Lots of room for all of us. The amenities were fab and kept all of us entertained, the games room is such an added bonus and so happy that the owners choose to share that and not lock it off - think we all become frustrated F1 drivers by the end of our stay! Bedrooms were really comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Very quiet and peaceful, lovely walk to the lake and we enjoyed the bikes to cycle along the cycle route. We wished we could’ve stayed longer but due to another booking we could only stay for 3 nights, would not hesitate to recommend or return.

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful chalet. The house is beautifully equipped and full of interesting details, the outdoor spaces for eating, relaxing, and taking in the view were superb. We were particularly impressed with the views on either side. The house is up a forest drive, but easy to reach and about ten minutes to town. But while you are there, it feels like a calm, natural oasis, with a cosy and charming interior. Beautiful space, and we hope to return.

The owner was really kind, and the house was really comfortable and nice like my own home. The interior was cute and the amenities were well-equipped, so it was convenient to live in and the location was very good.

The perfect place to stay in Annecy. Smack dab in the middle of the old town and 10 minutes walk from the train station. The apartment is beautiful and very quiet. This one is worth a trip just to stay here.

Beautiful place in very peaceful village, but close to Annecy, lake, even Geneve. Very easy to find and possible to park car just few meters from the door. We came with dogs and they were welcomed. Few grocery stores are very close, walking distance and opened on sunday. Hippolyte answered every question in short time. We loved this place.

Patricia’s place is excellent. It is actually better than the photo’s. She was flexible with our check in and allowed us to store our e bikes in a locked shed. The garden was lovely although we never used it. Bonus was a washer and dryer in the basement below that we used. She left milk, butter, jam , orange juice and a gorgeous apple tart which was a very nice touch. It’s about 20 min walk into town and 30 to the lake / old town which you need to bear in mind. However she does have push bikes that you can use. It was very hot whilst we were there and there is no AC and no fans so sleeping was a problem . Also there was no on site parking as advertised and there is an admin block on the same road so parking was a problem during office hours . We couldn’t park outside initially at 1pm and had to park 2 streets away ( we did have an estate car ) but kindly Patricia moved her own car so we could take her space. After that we had no problems parking. I would still recommend though

we had a nice stay at Cathy's place, very clean with all the essentials to have a nice stay. very good communication with Cathy. just a small downside for the bedding that could be more comfortable.

We spent 4 beautiful nights in the accommodation offered by Guillaume. Impeccable welcome, Guillaume is extremely kind and considerate!! Visit the apartment together and explanations. Regarding the accommodation, it's really great! Warm, tastefully furnished. We didn't miss anything, absolutely nothing! It was a real pleasure to stay at Guillaume's, it is certain that if we return to Sallanches one day we will return to Guillaume's ☺️

We were on a family holiday with a mixture of adults and kids and babies. Cecile’s place was great for our holiday. It is very well located, it was a 5min walk to a small group of shops that had restaurants and a beautiful patisserie, 5min walk to a supermarket, 5min walk to restaurants on the lake, 5min walk to multiple bustops and a bus top right outside but most importantly only 5min walk to the beach and is a lovely walk through a reserve. The old town is also walking distance about 30min along a beautiful lake front promenade. The house itself is spacious with a large living area in open plan and a balcony. It also has a large backyard which our kids loved playing in. The only downside for us would be that the upstairs bedrooms were rather warm while we were there but we still all slept well and it probably wasn’t appropriate for under 5 year olds with various ornaments and 3 levels of stairs. Thank you Cecile, our family will have great memories of our stay in Annecy.

Wow what a wonderful holiday. We had a fantastic time. The house was lovely with a great outdoor area and pool. It was very peaceful but not far from the town centre (5-10 min walk). There you could find a boulangerie, small supermarket and several restaurants. You could walk to the lake in about 10 - 15 mins. We did not bother hiring a car. Instead we hired bicycles for some of the holiday. We also did lots of walking. It was very hot but fortunately we had aircon in the house. I would definitely go there again. We previously stayed in Annecy but this was more relaxing. It took about 25 mins to cycle to Annecy and you can almost exclusively do this on cycle paths. The hosts were extremely helpful even though they were on holiday in Brasil as we had one small issue with the power that they managed to quickly resolve.

Benjamin's place was all we were looking for during kids' winter break: spacious enough for 2 families, great location and comfortable with all needed amenities. Location could not have been better: only 5 min drive to ski lifts & Megeve center, only 20 min walking distance to Megeve center with near-by shops for daily groceries. Benjamin was also very responsive and proactive, enabling us to have a very smooth check-in. We would definitely recommend and would like to come back again!

We had a great time with the family at Jean-Christophe's. We had very good communication, very good exchanges. The place was perfect. The environment is very calm and very relaxing. The house is welcoming and family friendly. Jean-Christophe was very available, attentive and warm. Thanks for everything. The area is sublime, we'll be back!

Three wonderful days in the very pretty house of Aude, impeccable house, very well equipped in everything, perfect bathroom, nice and practical kitchen, the bedding is super comfortable, the rooms are lovely, dream location with views of the lake and the Alps, very nice garden, we don't know what to add as everything was positive, we had a hard time leaving! Aude was more than charming and attentive, flexible, quick to respond, we absolutely recommend! And we hope to come back!

We loved staying in this French villa! My kids (3, 5 and 7) spent hours in the backyard while we hung out on the terrace and stared at the view! The house is gorgeous and thoughtfully designed - we felt right at home. It’s an easy drive to Annecy and surrounding area - we also did a day trip to Chamonix. The bakery down the hill also has amazing chocolate croissants. Thanks for a great stay!
