Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Mendip District

This property is in such a beautiful village, that we never wanted to leave! The space is bright and airy, w/everything needed to be comfy. There’s a binder w/everything you need to know, plus info about the 2 local pubs & dining options, etc. (Thurs. night at the Catherine Wheel is a MUST!). You won’t find anything remotely touristy in the village, which is why we loved it so, but it’s perfectly situated for easy drives to Bath, the Cotswolds, Diddly Squat Farm & The Farmer’s Dog (for Top Gear/Jeremy Clarkson fans), and so much more! Check out Soho Farmhouse in Chipping Norton for a truly fantastic outing! The Goat Shed has a double gate behind which you and your vehicle are safe and secure (although there’s no need for concern of that in Marshfield!). A grass lawn awaits your pet or children to play in, with zero risk of danger or escape. These 2 ladies from Canada and the U.S highly recommend a stay here (just bring a face cloth, as that was the only thing missing)!

We really enjoyed a short break in this quirky property. It was clean, cosy and well-equipped, and a great base to explore the surrounding area. We walked in to Bristol (it took about an hour) but there is a regular bus service too. Nick was really welcoming and helpful. We'd be very happy to stay here again.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Narks place. From beginning to end couldn’t find any faults whatsoever. Beautiful apartment, beautiful furnishings, spotlessly clean. Good location. Just faultless !!! Definitely recommend to anyone . Thank you Mark and team.

We had a wonderful stay at The Nook. The location is perfect - just a short distance from Cirencester - and the view over the English countryside is absolutely breathtaking. The apartment itself is nicely decorated and fully equipped with everything you need. The bedroom is cozy and comfortable, the kitchen has all the essentials, and the bathroom is modern and clean. The free Wi-Fi and on-site parking were also great bonuses. We loved how peaceful and quiet the area was. It's close enough to the main roads to explore the Cotswolds region and its nature, yet secluded enough to feel like a true escape. We highly recommend this apartment. We would definitely love to return!

Had a great weekend over Easter at Jan’s place - a beautiful garden - the kids loved the trampoline and pool - we cooked BBQ outside our Accomodation kin the peaceful garden - had great fish and chips and a cider in Watchet - the nearest harbour town (10 min drive) - we also visited from the house; quantock hills (15 min drive) killer beach (15 min drive) minehead (40 mins) and linmouth - beautiful drive over Exmoor. Would definitely come back

excellent location can walk to the beach but extremely quiet and private location the room was spotless and much bigger than I thought a lovely location to stay. Hosts where excellent went the extra mile for us and where freindly to us and our dog would live to stay again.

We had a brilliant weekend at Beech House. It had everything we needed for a group of 10, the house was spotlessly clean, with beautiful and quirky decor throughout. We all particularly loved the bathrooms! We would highly recommend for a family friends get together. The location is also really convenient, with the town centre only a 5 minute walk away.

This was a great location for our stay near Sidmouth where we had friends visiting over the weekend. Sidbury is a charming English village just outside Sidmouth, with a lot of traditional thatched cottages. The property has a lovely little garden where we sat and enjoyed the scenery and listened to the stream running past. It was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway to rest and recuperate.

What a beautiful, clean, peaceful and well-equipped home this was for our weekend away together! We came as a group of friends for a long weekend of tabletop gaming and my friends couldn’t stop congratulating me on finding such a perfect and lovely spot - but all credit is due to Suzanne for her wonderful home, not me! The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are incredibly comfortable with really good quality bedding. The living space is beautifully furnished and perfect for a small group of friends. The beach is such a short walk away - perfect for a 20 minute decompression stroll - and with a shop nearby for last minute groceries, and the delicious meals of The Sully Inn just a short trot away, this really is the perfect space to stay. I am already wondering how soon we can return.

Beautiful, light, airy and comfortable home in a perfect location for us. Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking with. V comfy bed! It was lovely and peaceful but just a quick drive to Hive Beach/Burton Bradstock/Bridport . 5 min walk down the road to a lovely local farm shop and The Parlour restaurant for good food and cider made on the farm. Alison was very friendly and gave some good recommendations in the welcome pack.

My friends and I enjoyed our beautiful and quiet girls weekend away. The lodge is exactly how it’s described and looked like the pictures, very comfortable and clean stay, the hot tub is incredible. On a cloudless night you can sit back in the tub and see how clear the stars are. Lisa is a wonderful host who greeted us when we arrived to show us how to use the hot tub and gave some locations to visit. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, away from the everyday hustle and bustle of city life, recharge your energy, you need a stay here. We visited Wincanton, Sherborne and Glastonbury during our two night stay. An absolute gem of a find, friends and I would love to book again next year for a few more days, absolutely breathtaking scenery for an amazing price.

What an amazing place! 11 of us stayed here for a hen weekend and had the BEST time. Trinity House is beautifully decorated, with everything you could possibly need. Located in a quiet peaceful area and perfect for a girls weekend away. Everyone loved the cute quirky vintage feel and the secret bookcase doorway, the beds were super comfy and powerful showers were a plus. Allie was a lovely host, very helpful, friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend and would love to return! Thank you!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. The wood burner made our evening cosy and warm, and there were plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. The barbecue area was private and perfect for a lovely outdoor meal. The bathroom was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding smelled fresh and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We honestly couldn’t fault the hosts – we’ll definitely be back one day!

Had a lovely weekend with friends at Sarah and Rory’s place. Everything was as described in the listing- beautiful decor, clean &tidy, and super accessible to the city- with lots of wonderful amenities right in the area the house is located- cute independent shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shop and takeaways! This meant it was the perfect location! Thank you so much for a lovely home for the weekend.

The flat was much bigger than expected and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Maisie was so easy to communicate with and responded immediately when we had a very minor check-in hiccup. We loved our stay and will recommend it to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay. The airbnb was exactly as listed. A pleasant place to go "home" to each night. We would use this place again if we go to that area again.

Although bijou, David & Vanessa's Annexe was perfect for our weekend stay. It is very clean, very comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. Even milk & bottled water was supplied in the fridge. Highly recommended.

We were very impressed with the apartment, very clean, comfortable and homely. Well equipped and provisioned. Ideal location for us as it is only 3 minute drive to our son’s home. The icing on the cake was to be able to use the garage! Perfect, considering that it kept the car nice and cool and out of the sweltering heatwave. We intend to stay again on future visits to Bath and will most certainly recommend to our family to use when visiting our son.

Felice and Peter were very welcoming to myself and 3 and 5 year old and very understanding of any problems which can occur with young children. The house was very comfortable and decorated with Felice's beautiful art work. A great location in regards to being a lovely ten mins walk to the town along the river. A nice park nearby too which was a plus for the children. A lovely touch having fresh bread, milk, butter and jam provided. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Apartment was wonderful, great location (15 mins walk into Bath centre), beautifully clean, well equipped, comfy bed, modern bathroom and the parking was a bonus...our car didn't move for 3 days! Jette was very quick to respond and gave us some fabulous visit/restaurant suggestions. Mayor Of Bath's Guided Walks not to be missed. All in all a brilliant break.

David's place gave us access to Westonbirt and High Grove, but we also enjoyed shopping in Cirencester and visiting the Stroud Brewery and Tap. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Access by car is a little challenging down a steep and narrow road, but fine for a confident driver.

Absolutely amazing! Myself and my girlfriend had such a relaxing and peaceful weekend away to celebrate our birthdays! Everything was perfect and both Chris and Julie were super friendly and helpful, even making us a birthday cake to celebrate. Highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future
