Family-friendly holiday rentals in Melton Hill Lake

The only thing we couldn’t figure out was the propane barbecue. There was either no propane or it wouldn’t ignite other than that. Everything was awesome and we really enjoyed our stay. It’s beautiful.

Very wonderful for a Christmas getaway. Pam was very quick to respond and always made sure we were doing okay and there were no problems. She even made us some cookies and delivered them to the porch. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at *The Good Life* cabin in Pigeon Forge was truly delightful. The cabin was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and offered plenty of space to relax. Every detail contributed to an atmosphere of comfort, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Nestled in a peaceful setting, the cabin provided the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. It was close enough to town for easy access to attractions, dining, and shopping, yet far enough away to feel private and tranquil. Whether enjoying the quiet outdoors or the warmth and charm of the interior, we felt completely at ease throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a spot that combines comfort, charm, and a serene location, *The Good Life* is an excellent choice. We would absolutely return for another visit!

Matt’s place looks just like it does in the pictures except the view is even more beautiful in person. Truly one of the highlights of the stay was going onto the balcony over looking the mountains each day. The condo is cozy and very well directed. All the amenities listed were great. Easily worth the price we payed to have a more private retreat each day after hiking and enjoying downtown Gatlinburg. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning! It’s well kept and the view is breathtaking, black bears show up regularly (don’t worry they’re friendly). There’s a game room and toddler stuff as well. 8 people can sleep comfortably. FYI this is in the mountains so the road is not for rookies. 4x4 recommended.

This was my third stay at Glimpse of Heaven, and it most certainly won’t be my last. The name truly says it all. The view is absolutely unmatched. One of my favorite things about this cabin is its location. It’s quiet and serene, far removed from the crowds near Gatlinburg but still just a short drive away if you want to explore the area. It’s also perfectly situated near Cades Cove and the Foothills Parkway, which makes it ideal for scenic drives. The cabin itself is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Shirley, the host, is always quick to respond. She makes every stay easy and enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend Glimpse of Heaven more highly—it’s become my go-to escape in the Smokies.

This was our second time staying at this Airbnb! It was just as lovely as before & Lemuel is a wonderful host. 10/10

Great customer service, views, cleanliness, and utilities

Cabin was amazing, super clean and Jeanette was super helpful. My kids loved it, especially the hot tub!

This cabin is exactly as described. Private and peaceful. Easy to find GPS took us right to it. Easy entry/exit lock. Very comfy bed ! The road could scare some drivers. It didn’t bother us being from WV. But if curvy back roads scare you at night. This is not for you. We had to call Michael one night. The fire alarm randomly went off he was 100% responsive and took care of it immediately. My ONLY complaint is no ceiling fan in the bedroom. My husband and I are both hot sleepers. However he does have a box fan in the cabin that we used. Our first night we seen a mamma bear and 3 cubs. Second night a coyote. Third and fourth night a bunch of bunny rabbits. I loved this cabin. Out in the mountains with no one around to bother you. You can sit on the porch and actually hear the leaves moving in the wind! Also while siting outside we were able to hear cows mooing! There is a small farm down the hill. We loved listing to the animals in the mornings!

Unique property, and well equipped for a comfortable stay.

This cabin was AMAZING! My favorite AirBnb by far. It was so quiet and felt like a private slice of heaven. We especially liked the jacuzzi in the room and the scenic area. The bed was super comfy and made this the vacation the best we've had. I would definitely snag this location again if it was available when we come back.

The view is outstanding! The location is convenient for exploring several attractions and the cabin is perfectly comfortable - unlike some, it has a decent sized living room. The gameroom was a big hit given that it rained frequently. The walkway is a bit trecherous for very old or young and general condition is not pristine, but totally functional. We had a great stay!

We loved it here! Plenty of space for us and the dog to relax and soak in the mountains! I highly recommend the horse ride! Even for beginners! Great stay overall for the family!

Andrew's house was the perfect getaway space for our family of five, as we visited Maryville. It was quiet and cozy! We loved the front porch and watching (hearing) the chickens! I would highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! Everything about our stay from check in, communication, comfort, and check out. We take a trip to a different location every year with our kids for Father’s Day and All of this trip was great. We will definitely be staying again in the future! Thank you so much again!

Pros: Beautiful cottage, beautiful quiet location. Randy was extremely helpful and proactively gave us good check in instructions. Cons: Queen bed was pretty uncomfortable but thats our only complaint about the place. Definitely be prepared for the windy, mountain drive and Definitely lock your car because first night the bears tried getting in. Thankfully, Randy gave us a heads up so we were ready.

This was our second time staying at the Alpen Rose cabin. It is a beautiful cabin and has just what our family needs to feel comfy, cozy, and relaxed after a full day of hiking and exploring the Smokies!

This was our second time staying here, the first time was three years ago to date. When we arrived it felt like we had never left. It was so relaxing and so peaceful! Cathy was amazing and the small issue we had was resolved within the hour! We will definitely be coming back in the future!

We visited for 3 nights and had a nice time! The cabin is a short drive to the main road with lots of restaurants and very easy to get to hiking trails too. The WiFi also worked really well in the cabin during our stay. Our host was always very responsive and helpful as well!

Loved this cabin. We saw bears at the cabin almost ever day. Even on the deck one day. We enjoyed the hot tub, the arcade game, the pool table, and having lunch out on the deck. One bedroom on the bottom floor and one on the top. It's much cooler on the bottom than the top so keep that in mind when picking rooms.

We had an amazing time here. Views were stunning and the house was great!
