Great stay (too short!) in Jean-Luc's comfortable yurt. This is not a neutral and soulless tourist accommodation, but a lively place, where you feel that others have enjoyed it before us. There is everything you need to rest in nature and have fun without taking the car (walk to get bread, wood to build cabins, river to cool off, fire to grill chamallows...) We'll be back😊!

We loved our short stay with Imre and the animals. It's really something special and we are very happy that Imre shared this unique house and surroundings with us. It really feels like you are thrown into a Petterson and Findus book. Absolutely recommended.

Just got back from an amazing stay in this gorgeous yurt and had to leave a review! The location is so unique and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The yurt itself is super spacious, and has everything you could possibly need. Outside, there’s a large decking area with an outdoor bar, kitchen, and dining space—all styled in a lovely beachy vibe with stunning views. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Plus, it’s just a short distance to a lovely quiet village with restaurants and bars—great for a little exploring and some fantastic meals out. Such a dreamy, tranquil escape—can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely wonderful !!! Has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed. Really breathtaking. The yurt was beautiful. And roomy. Had everything you needed and the beds were so comfy. No light pollution or sound pollution. One of the ( if not the best ) sleeps I’ve ever had.

We didn't want to leave. Next year we will come back. Ali and Matt are really great hosts. They are welcoming and always willing to help. We could feel that they really want to share with us the space that they have created with so much love and detail. The place is an inspiration for every every one who values self made things. We had a fantastic experience in the yurt. It is as beautiful and cozy as the photos suggested. We have slept well and exceptionally deep. Everything is full of nice, but also well thought through details. We love cooking, and the kitchen has everything we needed. Even the knives were sharp (first time in all those years of using AirBNB)! Some nights we made BBQ. The view from the terrace is amazing. You can even see the mediterranen sea in the distance. The yurt and the kitchen are nicely private, still not isolate as there are the other gites just a few stairs up the mountain. There are many activities that you can enjoy there. There are great hiking routes that pass through oak, chestnut and hazel tree forest, with creeks and natural pools. However, we spent most of the time just around the yurt and the pool. It was so relaxing. It's also an amazing place for kids. The pool kept our 5 year old son busy for hours, as did the trampoline. Our son also loved riding the donkey when we did a small hike with the other guests that was organised by the hosts. Ali can organise bread and fresh croissants every morning if you like. For us that was great as we did not have leave the place. Actually we only once to a super market in 7 days. The car stayed still. We decelerated instead.

Great stay in the yurt! Definitely a change from other places to stay for us. The yurt is quite high up and is therefore very private, which we liked. Kaitlyn is a super nice host who can give tips on beaches and restaurants. Also the homemade breakfast, which we could enjoy on the terrace overlooking Corsica, was always very tasty! We will be happy to come back :)

We are a group of friends of 4 and we were looking for an unusual place, quiet and in the countryside. We could not have hoped for more to recharge between us. This place perfectly combines back to your roots while allowing you to enjoy the comfort. We arrived in early May to sleep two nights. We were able to enjoy the sauna and heated pool that allows you to relax while enjoying a magnificent view. We really enjoyed the outdoor area with dining table and sofa sheltered from the nature lady elements. There are also plenty of places to visit and the Brioude market that Pierre gave us very much. There, time stops... you feel really good there and go back to reloading. To all nature lovers, I highly recommend this place! Thanks again to Pierre for hosting us and for his kindness. We'll be back, but longer this time!

You have to stay here! Here is why: 1) Amazing Service Level: Anything we had asked (within reason), Gaia and Nicolo delivered above and beyond. This was the first time I felt like an Airbnb host treated guests like king and queen. 2) Food was Great: We had ordered dinner with them and they brought it to the yurt. It was amazing to eat there after using the hot tub. The breakfast was delivered to us (We had stayed in the rooms by the Le Dune house so we knew the breakfast was good but having it at the Yurt was a whole other experience. You have your own garden and on a hilltop which makes everything tastes much better hahaha. 3) Hot Tub Experience: We had ordered the hot tub (you have to pay). Luckily for us, the weather was perfect and the water could stay warm for a long time. We were in the tub for about 3 hours hahaha. 4) Star-Gazing at Night: Lastly, this is an underrated point. At night, with a clear sky, the whole sky fills up with stars. Got to see it yourself to believe it.

A lovely and cozy yurt, full of attention to detail, with good energies and a feeling that put a lot of love into it. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating areas, among all the plants and birds, and the small dip pool was dreamy and saved us on an especially extreme day. Hedva sent in advance clear and pleasant explanations, and during the stay was available for any questions. Highly recommend!

An instant and natural soothing thanks to the idyllic place and the little care of Jenny and Cédric. Very available for recommendations of local activities and open to suggestions / responsive to any requests. We also booked breakfasts and a dinner that were perfectly proportioned and delicious. We recommend the cottage in the yurt with our eyes closed. The sanitary and kitchen area is perfectly clean and practical! A peacefully wonderful piece of nature right at the Dolomiti’s doorstep. This place was such a precious find! We loved the peace and quiet that you get at the yurt, and the goats and chickens everywhere make it even more special. The hosts are responsive and Jacopo is a genuinely great person. Would 100% recommend.

The yurt has the ability to give you a collected and cozy space. Our two year old had a super baby, had lots of interesting toys available, the terrace outside has a lot of intimacy and a spectacular sky for a good morning breakfast. The surrounding animals are very friendly.

If you want to experience what’s it’s like living on the Italian countryside next to the wine grapes and olive trees, Roberto’s yurt is an excellent choice. Tucked in on a hill in the area between Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio the place is a good mix of simple living and luxury (there’s a pool and several high-quality wine yards close by). Roberto was also an excellent host and gave us several good recommendations in the surrounding area.

One night out of time, everything was absolutely perfect. A real cocoon of happiness! A huge thank you to Séverine and Sébastien for hosting us! Special mention for the delicious homemade charcuterie and gourmet breakfast. We will come back without hesitation! Camille and Nicolas

My spouse and I stayed for the first time in 2023 in Isabelle's yurt, and we loved it! So, to our great pleasure, we returned there during our road trip around the Cévennes. Perfect welcome! Relaxing, quiet place. The yurt is spacious and comfortable. Isabelle and her husband are lovely hosts :)

we were in the big yurt for a bachelor party and it was a beautiful experience, with a bonfire outside and also the possibility of using the grill. Manuel is very kind and super helpful in addition, he offers many activities such as musical meditation or the talent map and also for advice on what to do in the area or where to eat. the yurt is very evocative and comfortable, plus there is electricity and heating/air conditioning, the beds are futons but very comfortable. Truly a different experience than usual and very evocative! shared bathroom but very clean and kitchen always stocked. Recommended for everyone!

We had a great holiday mostly under the rain. The wood stove in the yurt makes it very cosy. There are nice walks to do in the area. Michael was friendly and helpful, and his neighbours as well!

Sleeping in yurt was an unforgettable experience! A really unusual stay: waking up to the singing of the birds, breathing clean air, and living a few days away from the chaos of the city. Staying at Kausay was an unforgettable experience. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos—thoughtfully designed, incredibly serene, and filled with calm, positive energy. Nestled in a lush valley surrounded by olive and orange groves, it's the perfect place to reconnect with nature and oneself. The traditional Mongolian yurts are cozy and comfortable, and the absence of mobile network coverage truly allows for a digital detox. However, there is a wifi connection for online messaging. Jeroen is a fantastic soul—super kind, responsive, and genuinely cared about making my stay special. If you're looking for a peaceful, inspiring, and comfortable place to stay, Kausay is a gem. I will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Absolutely a top spot. Romantic in nature, yurt well equipped with everything you need - with warm outdoor shower and good toilet. Philippe and Olga are super friendly and warm people. Recommended! Plus: very beautiful surroundings and a good base to discover Cathar country.
