We cannot praise Francois and Astrid enough for sharing their incredible location through their beautiful cottage and their above and beyond hospitality. If you have any doubts about booking this place, put them aside and do it! This is absolutely the best way to relax and enjoy time away in the Pyrenees. Francois and Astrid are extremely gracious hosts, and we very much appreciated everything they did for us. Do yourselves a favor and experience Astrid's cooking - fresh, local ingredients cooked to absolute perfection, and having a meal in such a beautiful location only enhances the experience. To top it all off, meeting their dog, cat, and alpacas was so much fun and made us feel even more at home. If we are so lucky to make it back, we would absolutely do so in a heart beat!

If I could move in here permanently, I would. What a gorgeous stay with responsive and respectful hosts. Everything was as described, the hot tub was glorious, and we loved looking through the binder of photos of painstaking restoration over the years.

Alain and his wife are very friendly and welcoming people (not to mention Rolls their dog). They are good tips for visiting the surroundings. the accommodation is very well equipped and very comfortable. For the location, lover of nature and calm, you are in the right place! Thanks for everything!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Farfaglia— the space is gorgeous inside and out, and it was the perfect place to unwind at the end of our trip after lots of travel and bustle. Thank you Fabio for being so communicative, kind, and warm. We truly felt welcomed and taken care of, and will long remember the bounty of wildflowers, our adorable cow neighbors, and the pleasure of slowing down in such a beautiful setting.

The house is an absolute dream! We spent 1 wonderful week with our two Ridgeback ladies. The host is very hospitable and accommodating. A bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us at the reception, which we immediately enjoyed in the beautiful garden. The first dinner was also provided, as well as breakfast. The garden with the pool is simply fantastic. The two dogs also felt very comfortable and could play freely in the completely fenced garden. The house is very well maintained down to the smallest detail. Due to the seclusion and tranquility in the place, we were able to relax here. We loved our stay at Pietro and Pina, felt like a paradise. We were welcomed with amazing food and wine, became friends with all the pets, and enjoyed the house with great views a lot. Thank you!

The stay was in one word terrific. Carolina was a very nice and helpful host for us. She thought about what we would like. The house is in a breathtaking place if you love nature and views of mountains, cliffs and meadows. We did a nice hike every day from 1 to 3 hours, but you can easily make longer trips along waterfalls, lakes, cliffs, through forests and meadows.

Where do I start!!? We had such an amazing week at Dimitra’s place. The house has absolutely everything you would need - from the ample outdoor spaces for relaxing and dining, to the cold plunge pool to refresh yourself in the afternoon heat, to the cozy wood fireplace for cooler evenings. The location is fantastic, with easy driving access to Falassarna Beach, Kissamos, Balos Beach and Elafonissi Beach, and walking distance through charming Greek countryside and villages to a few spectacular restaurants and a cafe. Dimitra also went above and beyond to accommodate us, and make us feel welcome, leaving some toys out for young daughter which she absolutely loved! Highly recommend this place, you will love your vacation.

A haven of peace, green setting, with superb views of the sea, the islands of Elafonisos and Cythera. Ideal to unwind. The small town of Néapoli, after several turns on a good road, offers the essentials (food shops, cafes, taverns, etc.). Kimo's tips were excellent and the tours of the property's kitty were affectionate.

Milos was a fantastic host, very friendly and welcoming, and flexible regarding the check-in and -out times. His brother even brought us to the location with his own car, since I don’t drive, which was really great. The Old Mill is such a gem, it’s very authentic and the views from the balcony are just breathtaking, especially at the sunset. The pool area and the garden are also a very unique and a beautiful addition to the whole experience. Having a car is advisable, but if you don’t drive (like myself) there are local drivers, which will bring you to wherever you wish for a reasonable price.

We had a wonderful week in Gloria's house. Our four-legged friend also felt totally comfortable in nature. The house is small but nice and has everything you need. The property is a nice size and is perfect for eating outside, relaxing in the hot tub or just lying in the sun. The way to the house is a little challenging, but with a normal car and a little driving experience it can be mastered. Gloria was always available to us and gave us good excursion tips for the area in advance. Even with any inquiries, she always reacted very quickly and helped us. It is perfect for simply getting out and enjoying the nature and tranquility of Tuscany. We will be happy to come back!

I can't tell you just how beautiful Pepa's casita is. Words can't do the view, and surroundings justice. The orchard is very special and I didn't want to leave! We'll definitely be back and have recommended this beautiful eco home from home to all of our family and friends.

The cottage fit 6 of us comfortably! Roberto and Alessio were responsive and gave excellent suggestions for places to visit/eat. We were spoiled being on the doorstep of the nature preserve and visited a few times during our stay. Recommend without reservation.

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful, quiet and spacious. The little town was so cute and we would have evenings walks around there. The cats were so cute and I made an effort to feed them. we hired a car and visited Valencia city and some surrounding towns. large supermarkets around 25 minute drive away or smaller one around 10 minute drive away. The only thing I would suggest is a sun lounger by the pool to be able to lay down and relax. Thank you so much for our gorgeous stay. We hope to come back one day.

The place is truly magical! There is a special energy. The pool is so relaxing that you dont want to leave the chateau. In the morning you will have freshly baked croissants by Alisson! +the fig jam and orange marmolade were so delicious! Alisson and Costas are really the warmest hosts you can imagine. We will come back!

We had a great 10 day stay at Stone Lake Cottage. Everything was just as we expected - peaceful surroundings, great view, all we needed in the cottage, really helpful and responsive host. We loved exploring the local village and were made to feel welcome in the local bar, restaurant, café and taverna 😊 There are bus services to the main towns but we found a car very useful to explore the wider island. We thoroughly recommend Peter's property.
