Excellent accommodation, very good location

The bnb of Marousa and Antonis is the ultimate ideal location in Ios: if it weren’t for a couple buildings, you will be directly on the beach, one minute walking distance away. Spacious room and a huge veranda, comfy bed. Also a nice pool, and amazing food on sale made by the hosts. Not to miss: the Greek salad. I’ve never tasted olives of such unique taste. Best moment of the day: the early morning from the veranda, with the early boats, flying bees and chirping birds, framed by a luscious flowerbed on the canopy. A rare find.

It was really nice and close to Pamukkale park. The staff was friendly and the pool was clean. We enjoyed our stay here.

Maria Giovanna is a very friendly and caring host! She took care to welcome me and was kind enough to keep my luggage for the day after check out. Everything was very well organized and flexible, Maria Giovanna is also very responsive and responds very quickly to messages.

The MOST COMFORTABLE bed of all the 11 places we have stayed in the past year!! Also, the bathroom and shower had everything we needed for easy use. Example: shelf space for toiletries, hooks to hang towels, shelf in shower for shampoo etc. This isn’t 5 star, but if you are looking for basic, practical, very considerate host, environmentally thoughtful, and quick response to all requests: Kalfa Palace is a good place. We stayed in Kalfa Palace Guest House Room 2. This has windows looking over the rear yard and garden area, not the street side. Generally quiet and peaceful in the night (weekends a little more noise) — except for sounds of birds, some cats, and the occasional rooster. :-) Our room was also quite cool, even when the street was hot.

I really enjoyed my stay at Engins Guesthouse. It was the perfect place to explore Moda. Everything was super uncomplicated and the place provided everything you could ask for. Engin really made me feel welcome and was always there to help me and give recommendations.

Kalfa Palace was great! The apartment was very clean and close to lots of restaurants, cafes, and bars. Plus, it was a short walk to the ferry that’ll take you everywhere you’d want to go in Istanbul. Engin was very nice and responsive. Would stay again.

Engin was really lovely, the place was very cozy, and the neighborhood was our favorite in Istanbul with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. Only remark is that sometimes the sound was really loud from the street as the windows are thin, and there was a slight smell of cigarette smoke. I highly recommend Kalfa Palace for anyone visiting Istanbul

Place was exellent with nice view (photos) from our clean room. Our room was just on top of restaurant. Not the cheapest one but good food. Opened 1PM So, no help with breakfast. That was the only minus on our stay. We got water boiler and cups so we manage. Fridge available outside room. Breakfast restaurant ca 500m uphill or toast/pancake 200m on next beach.

The hosts were very friendly. We had no trouble finding the house and getting checked in. As seen in the pictures, everything we needed to meet our needs was available. We were satisfied with our stay, I recommend.

Lovely stay in a well located hostel, the room was big enough for 6 people, nice balcony and beds were not too small. The common areas were clean and we felt comfortable using them. The staff were freindly and helpful and the facilities were very good. We would definitely stay again.
