Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mediterranean Sea

We had a wonderful stay at this breathtaking Airbnb in Oia, Santorini. The location is absolutely stunning—perched right on the caldera with jaw-dropping views that made every moment feel like a postcard come to life. That said, be prepared for a bit of a trek to get down to the property (and back up!). The stairs can be quite challenging, especially for those with mobility or health concerns, so it's definitely something to keep in mind when booking. The host arranged for a porter to help with our luggage during both check-in and check-out, which made a huge difference. Still, it's important to know that getting around requires some physical effort—but the view at the end of the journey is 100% worth it. The host was great at coordinating everything—from taxi transfers to porter service. Upon arrival, a designated greeter met us and guided us to the room, offering helpful tips to remember the location (which is key—Oia’s winding pathways can be confusing, especially at night). Our r

Cette maison de vacances est parfaite. Nous étions 6 personnes, le fait d'avoir une grande terrasse au rez-de-chaussée et une autre plus petite avec un salon au 1er étage est super puisque nous pouvions avoir chacun notre espace. Mon seul regret: ne pas y être restée plus longtemps. Les hôtes sont très diponibles et une surprise nous attendais de la pâtisserie local. Merci🙏 Je recommande très fortement cette maison de rêve.

We had a wonderful time. The place was exactly as described and Theodoris was very responsive to our questions. He also arranged to have someone take our luggage to and from the place, which in Santorini that is a huge bonus!! I can’t forget the wine from his family’s vineyard he provided! The location is great as well!!

Dorotea was very kind, informative and very flexible with us. We loved her location and enjoyed the property. We would stay hear again in a heartbeat!

We really loved this multi-layered villa. Steps and interesting alcoves with plants lead from the street down to the main level with a kitchen, sitting area and two bedrooms, down again to the two other bedrooms, and then down again to a sun deck with the jacuzzi. The sea is reachable by jumping in further down the cliff or via the restaurant just below (which is expensive but quite good.) The view is other worldly. If you book this place, load up with groceries and drinks at a big supermarket (unavailable in Deia) and then make your way to Cala Deia. The road down and parking for a large vehicle (for us a 9 seater van) is a bit too adventurous, but the villa and cove are absolutely worth it. The place is well appointed, apart from beds and pillows which are mediocre, but in total the owner’s family has really put together a unique, thoughtful, and inspiring place. Well done!

We had an amazing time. The place was very clean, views were stunning. Host was attentive and responsive. Care was given to provide many items to ensure we had all the items we needed on our arrival. Extremely thoughtful! We had two young children and were please to have everything we needed for them to lunch on arrival. So many special touches!! We had a hard time leaving, we hope to be back soon! Special thanks to Antonio, we won’t say goodbye but rather arrivederci !

Book this NOW. This was hands down our favorite stay on our 2 week honeymoon in Greece. The location is peaceful and at the top of a cliff with the most stunning sunsets. The patio is airy, spacious and bright. Our room was cleaned daily. We rented an atv to explore the island (highly recommend). Our first night we ordered in pizza and wine and watched the sunset from the hot tub. Maria (the property manager) was quickly responsive and gave us lots of great suggestions. She was so friendly and accommodating. I don’t really even know how to explain how wonderfully peaceful this airbnb was - if I could have stayed another week here I would have - I watched the sunrise every morning with a coffee & a book and stretched in the hot tub. Side note: turn on the hot water an hour before if you want to shower longer than 5 minutes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carlo‘s house. It’s been beautifully renovated and was very comfortable for the two of us. The location is great with amazing views to Badolato and the sea beyond. The wine produced from their own grapes is truly delicious (we bought some home with us). Of course the apple cake stole the show! Unfortunately, it was unexpectedly cold and wet when we arrived in mid May. The fan heater was not enough to make the house warm enough for us, so we cut our stay short. We would love to return when is hopefully warmer and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this house again.

Marina’s apartment was a gem! We loved our stay in Atrani and the apartment was perfect. We spent the end of each day lounging on the patio looking out at the beautiful sea. Marina was incredibly thoughtful and left many surprises for us upon arrival. Atrani was exactly what we hoped for-it was laid back and inviting, a wonderful respite from the busy cities of the Amalfi coast. The locals were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!!!

Da tornarci ad occhi chiusi, uno dei Dammusi dell'isola con la vista migliore; la cucina le stanze gli arredi hanno davvero ogni cosa necessaria. L' host Maria è davvero servizievole e pronta. Non appena la spia arancione dell'acqua si è accesa Maria ha chiamato l'autobotte che in 48 ore è venuta a riempire; i letti sono comodi e c'è addirittura un materasso in più per ulteriori ospiti . Siamo stati molto soddisfatti non pensiamo di riuscire a trovare di meglio sull'isola.

Could not recommend this place more, specifically due to the host! Raffaele was the most communicative, helpful host we could have hoped for. He assisted us in coordinating our activities, provided information and insight about how to get around most efficiently, and was available for any little questions.

What a find. This area is less touristy but has all you need. Amazing restaurants, view points, car and buggy rentals. The house it self is as described. Perfect! We cooked dinner and ate on the terrace during sunsets, no bugs. Many friendly people around. All you need for coffee is provided. Cooking utensils and pans were good enough. Found I needed an extra bowl but as luck would have it there was a local market that was selling beautiful bowls. Also there is Maria market that had all the necessities. Be ware of things that don’t have a price. Over all we had an amazing stay and our host was very prompt, kind and responsive!

We would give more than 5 stars if possible! We were 6 people with grandparents to kids and everyone loved it. Daniele was so welcoming and helpful, from providing clear video instructions since we drove in after dark to recommendations for parking and breakfast. We had 2 cars and could easily drive 5min into town and park in a parking lot close to the center so Grandparents didn’t have to walk as far. The pool was cool at the end of May but not too cold for our boys to enjoy swimming. We all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the cool nights. Lastly, our whole family enjoyed the cooking class with Carmela! She is precious. She was especially sweet with our 11 and 12 year old boys who loved learning to make pasta and Italian dishes. She made sure there were no nuts in the dishes as one of my sons has a nut allergy. Everybody loved the food and ate until we were stuffed. I highly recommend staying as long as you can here. What a treat.

Anna Rita's place was even more beautiful than the pictures and in a great location. Anna Rita's sister, Lucia met us when we arrived. She gave us a tour, explaining how everything works. The space was large and welcoming. The outside terrace was especially beautiful and a peaceful place to unwind. The upstairs master suite was extraordinary. It was comfortable, quiet, spacious and had a balcony overlooking the terrace. The only downside was that the downstairs bedroom could get quite loud due to the adjacent restaurant on the other side of the wall. Our host was always very responsive. We will definitely return!

We had the most wonderful stay at Nela’s house! The view from the balcony is worth a million dollars, I’d say it’s probably the best view in Perast! Really well situated with boat tours leaving from the doorstop, a little wine bar downstairs & plenty of restaurants to sample nearby. Nela was really attentive and helpful too when arranging taxis and check in. Will be recommending far and wide!

Adriana is een hele fijne host. We kregen een warm welkom en tips voor bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Het huis is een prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen, zoals Amalfi kust en Napels. Het is fijn om aan het einde van de middag even in het zwembad te plonzen wat op een paar stappen van het appartement ligt.

Staying at Agrigreen La Lama was hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, Rita welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality that we felt at home. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm—surrounded by nature and the kind of quiet that soothes the soul. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was getting to cook in Rita’s own home, which she generously opened to us. It was such a unique and personal experience that made us feel truly connected to the space and the spirit of the farm. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, feel grounded, and enjoy genuine hospitality, Rita’s space is an absolute gem. I’m already looking forward to the day I can return.

We had the most magical stay at this Tuscany farm! The property is absolutely stunning — nestled among rolling vineyards and olive groves, with postcard-perfect views in every direction. Our apartment was spacious, charming, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, sharing local recommendations. Our kids loved meeting the animals, exploring the grounds, and especially swimming in the beautiful pool overlooking the hills — it was a total dream! Evenings on the terrace with a glass of wine and the Tuscan sunset were unforgettable. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family, and we can't wait to return. I can’t say enough about how great of a host Petros is, and how great of a place this was to stay. The place is as beautiful as it looks in the listing photos. Incredible view, incredible outdoor space, and warm and welcoming indoor space. The property is a little bit further outside of the town than we would have wanted to walk - I’d recommend renting a car or scooter if you stay here. With a vehicle you can be in the center of town in about 5 minutes. Petros is a perfect host - always available if you need him, friendly and helpful, and ready to provide great recommendations for food and activities all over the island. I highly recommend staying at this place.

We’ve just returned from the most unforgettable stay — and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, everything was pure perfection. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds that feel like something out of a dream. The accommodation itself was stylish, spotless, and so thoughtfully put together. This stay was one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. Mostly because we fell in love with Praiano and the pool and view of this place is unmatched. Roberta was so helpful in booking a sunset cruise with transport, dinner recs and so much more. I will dream of this stay for a very long time.
