This was a wonderful, charming place. So easy to find and check in. It was absolutely clean and tidy. Check in and check out were easy. I was a little nervous at first for street parking in Richmond can be difficult, but it wasn't an issue at any time of the day or evening when we returned to the home. Sitting on the porch enjoying the weather after a day of touring the city was so pleasant. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is perfectly placed for access to all activities in Richmond but quiet and restful in the evening and sleeping, away from the hustle bustle of the city. We will happily stay again when the need arises.

We enjoyed our stay at Cadu's while we visited family and friends in Richmond. Clean, comfortable, cozy house -- great communication with host.

This Airbnb location was a perfect location in Glen Allen for a long weekend getaway! It was in a very quiet neighborhood which I enjoyed and had no issues at all. The house is located on a slight hill which provided more privacy for the home. There was plenty of space for us four adults and a toddler. Host was extremely communicative and easy to contact. Would stay here again!

Ryan was a great host! The house was as described, clean, and had everything we needed. He even had snacks ready for the kids! The backyard was perfect for a dog to explore. We felt safe in the neighborhood and close to restaurants.

This beautiful home was exactly what I needed to house my extended family to be close to a graduation venue. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! They were so helpful in EVERY way, truly going above and beyond. Older homes have character, and upkeep can be a challenge. However, here the interior was spotless, and exceeded my expectations, 10/10. The exterior had a couple spots that could use attention, but was overall very nice. Beds: quality mattresses, linens, and pillows! Even the day bed downstairs was super comfy. Kitchen: clean and well-stocked. All the essentials and some extras were available. Backyard: amazing! We made use of as much as we could, weather permitting. The gazebo is a lovely place to gather. And the pickleball court—OMG—we literally spent hours on it! We also played corn hole and other games. All in all, a fantastic weekend, and this home is at the top of my list for Richmond. I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

My favorite airbnb to date!!! Such a beautiful, historic house with everything we needed to feel right at home. The 4 separate bedrooms and beds were great. Plenty of space for a family or group of friends to spend time together but still have privacy. The location was perfect too with ample parking. The playground right across the street was a nice surprise for the kids too. We absolutely loved this home and will definitely be back ❤️

Tim was a super communicative and responsive host, the house was great and easy to get into, and the location is great. We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers staying at the house, and there was plenty of space for all of us. Tim also had items for our kids (a pack n play, high chair, etc), items to clean up messes, and laundry on site. Of note, in the description, the beds are all listed as queen-sized, but it appeared that one bed (the back right room closest to the stairs), was actually full-sized. Other than that, our stay was great.

Private space for quiet downtime with the family.

Comfortable home that was exactly what my family needed. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Shower on the first floor is my favorite of any place I’ve stayed. Maria was always responsible and was flexible my with requests.

This place was great! The location makes it easy to get to many places in Richmond quickly and it was a perfect location for a family wedding in nearby Maymont. The house is beautiful and the furnishings very comfortable. The pool was a special bonus - lovely and relaxing with incredible plantings. Clearly a lot of time was spent considering what guests might want. I just wish we'd had more time to enjoy it.

Shannon’s place met our expectations. The price for our stay was more than reasonable. It’s such a quiet and calming space. Everything was super clean, and the neighbors were super friendly. Would 100% recommend it!

We had family and friends in from out of state for my granddaughters high school graduation. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The views and the house were beautiful. Heather was a wonderful host, very responsive to our requests and needs. Hopefully the house will be available in a few years for my granddaughters collage graduation, she loved the setting so much she would love to come back. Lynne

Erica's place was quiet and comfy for an overnight stay. The location is really cool, right on the canal path, so restaurants and Shockoe Bottom are walking distance. Plus secure garage parking was a win. This is one Airbnb where it makes sense to meet the host rather than try and decipher check in instructions (otherwise you'd have to navigate a private building garage and a not super intuitive layout to get to the unit entrance). Erica was friendly and responsive and a great host!

This was a gem of a place in such gorgeous surroundings. It was truly a special experience to have private access to the pool and huge back patio. I appreciate Lesley’s efforts with such a thoughtful and tasteful beach theme throughout this pool house. We enjoyed everything inside and out!

A beautiful home with a lively yard to enjoy. We felt comfortable from the minute we walked in. Lovely neighborhood of parks and beautiful older homes. Not a central location but an easy drive to museums and shopping districts.

Wow. This place is so cute! Brought my two dogs and 4 year old grandson on his first camping adventure. He absolutely loved.skoolie and the peaceful surroundings. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen had most everything we weeded, and it was so peaceful. The hosts were responsive and had an informative booklet prepared to tell what was in the area. DoorDash even delivers there though we opted not to try that since we got in a little later than I anticipated. I appreciate being able to bring both my dogs as an apartment or condo just doesn’t work for them.We’ll definitely stay again as we travel through the area.

Stayed at the Duck Blind for the weekend, the house was perfect for my husband and I. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The home was great, it was close to where we wanted to be and easy driving to other parts of the city. The house was very clean and lived up to its billing. The place was charming, bed comfortable. Overall, this was a great place for the home away from home.

We had an awesome time staying at the cottage, perfect location near tons of restaurants and shops with a quick drive to Richmond. We booked specifically for the dog friendly aspect and everything was better than described, LARGE fenced in yard with tons of space and outdoor community seating area with tables/chairs to enjoy the sounds of nature right outside. We loved sitting under the porch listening to the birds while our dog roamed the yard getting in all the smells. Cottage has comfy king bed with full fridge, easily controlled AC, microwave and any dishes/utensils that you would need. Owner was SUPER sweet and spoke with us on the way out asking to pet our pup and if she could have treats. We would recommend this cottage to those who have pets and still want to be able to explore the variety of dog friendly places around the Richmond area while also feeling at ease leaving them at the cottage while doing activities without your pet. We would stay here again!

Our stay here was great - we have never stayed in a tiny home before so we weren't quite sure what to expect, but our experience at Hannah's place was wonderful. Even before we got there Hannah reached out to see if there was anything special we needed and she was available during our stay if any needs came up. The tiny home is well stocked with all the little things you might not even think of - general cooking supplies, coffee and creamer, toiletries, puzzles/games, markers and coloring books, even roasting sticks to use with the fire pit - and does not give the feeling of being small. You can tell a lot of time and attention was put into the place to make it as enjoyable and relaxing for guests as possible and I would say it was a job well done! On top of that it is very conveniently located in a smaller neighborhood that is also just a few minutes from food/shopping and the interstate. I would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in the Richmond area!

We loved staying at this charming home right next to campus! It was super clean with lots of amenities. Beds were very comfortable too. The pictures really don’t do it justice! The area out back was perfect with the fire pit and large table, and the yard was just beautiful and well-maintained. Garry was a great host! We hope to come back soon!
