We had a great stay overall. From start to finish, Kailash was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. We needed a long-term stay with 2 big dogs, and this house worked great for us. We didn't get to use the pool much because the weather didn't cooperate, but the pool and patio area are gorgeous. The location is great, close to everything - grocery stores, restaurants, etc. There is a trail behind the house (accessible through a gate in the back yard), and it leads to a beautiful and huge forest preserve - beautiful for walks/hikes in the woods! The kitchen was a great space for us, and it had everything we might need for cooking, etc. The house was very comfortable for our family, and we would come again. Thank you, Kailash!

Woodhaven was the perfect house for our women’s weekend away! The large living room and beautiful kitchen were perfect for our group of 10 but we were fortunate to have nice weather to be able to check out the downtown and spend most of our time outside on the patio. Even when the pool was still closed, we thoroughly enjoyed the backyard and patio space. Thanks for opening your home!

We had an amazing time at Nick’s property, and Nick was a great host from booking through the end of our stay. The property is incredible and a perfect location between Lake Geneva and Lake Delevan. We used the pool and fire pit every night, and the space comfortably fit 12 guys for our golf trip. We will definitely be looking to rent this property again in the future! Sasha’s place was even better than expected. We all felt at home and it was very relaxing. We had plenty of room to accommodate all of the guests.

We loved this place! Super fresh and clean, lots of natural light, great views, peaceful, private and super comfy beds. Perfect place for a couple of days to get our 22 year old out of the big city for some family time and renewal. Steven is a thoughtful host. Highly recommend!

We stayed here while our floors were being refinished and Marzena’s Oasis did not disappoint! You can tell she takes great pride in her listing; everything was as described and more. The home was very clean with plenty of linens, dishes, and kitchen/pantry supplies. My kids left more crumbs on the floor than usual during breakfast one day…I could not find a broom so I messaged Marzena. She dropped off a stick vacuum AND some delicious treats. Above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you for a home away from home!

very quiet house. Lily and team prepared almost everything, especially coffee. we enjoyed the stay. It also has a pool table and games for kids. very friendly for family.

Christine’s place was perfect for our needs. We were in town for the night for a triathlon. It was conveniently located near downtown McHenry which was very charming. Christine was very communicative and shared all needed information as well as recommendations for restaurants, etc. she was easy to work with and was flexible. Her place is VERY clean and comfortable. I wish I wouldn’t had to wake up so early so that I could have enjoyed the comfy bed a bit longer. The backyard is lovely and super relaxing. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We felt right at home here with our toddler and our dog. Our son especially loved the fun sunglasses on the coffee table. We hope to return and would definitely recommend.

Stayed with a few friends here for the night since we all had a baby shower that was in woodstock which is 2 hours from our homes. Perfect spot to stay. Great host.

Barbara was a great host! The house was the perfect getaway from the city. The bed was so comfortable and the outdoor space was so relaxing. We appreciated how Barbara went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay!

This house was perfect for a large group - very comfortable with LOTS of beds, and 4 King beds!! We were able to host 14 ladies quite comfortably. The lake lawn was amazing. Private lakefront access with a large, beautiful lawn perfect for games or sitting around in Adirondack chairs. The house is definitely old, but that's part of it's charm. There was one sink that didn't drain that could be fixed, but most of the other bathrooms looked like they were recently updated, which is nice. Just note the water has an iron smell/taste so I recommend bringing your own water for drinking! Other than that, it was an absolutely amazing girls trip. Relaxing, beautiful, and comfortable.

The home was obviously created to be an AirBnB - all amenities were obvious and easy to find and use. It is well equipped to accommodate children. The finished basement also has plenty of room for an air mattress if you need a little extra space. Two of the rooms with sleeping facilities are surrounded by windows, although there are blinds, but they are not "private." We were very comfortable on all the beds, even the sofa bed. The location is an old residential street that was leafy and green, and the lilacs were in full bloom. Quite lovely. I would definitely stay there again!

This Airbnb was ideal for our stay and exceeded expectations. Cleanliness is very important to us and it was very clean! The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities had everything you could possibly need. Excellent sleeping space for a large group. The area was nice and quiet. Thank you, Julie and Bev for your hospitality and attention to our needs. We’ll be back!

This was such a fantastic choice! The rooms, beds, and location were awesome. It’s a peaceful town and when we were not out playing tourist it was lovely to sit on the covered front porch to watch the rain. The hosts were communicative and we so appreciated our time here. Would love to come again!

Place was absolutely beautiful and clean beds were so clean comfortable. Kitchen was supplied with many amenities that you would need it was a very nice place the only thing we ran out of toilet paper there was only one in each bathroom and we couldn’t find

Wonderful experience. Responsive hosts, charming house, comfortable gathering spaces, well-stocked kitchen, great beds, easy walk to Main St. Hosted a Christmas Eve celebration there with extended family, many coming from out-of-state (and country) as well as from Sun City, and it couldn't have been better. Five stars and happy memories!

Although having only one bath may seem like a downside for a family, you can work with it. The game room with a family and the backyard plus the location and driveway made it all worth it. The kids so loved that game room and wanted to be nowhere else from morning to night, other than running in the yard which is fenced and perfect. The kitchen was great and we could all sit down to a meal. Great local eating. Everything was clean and neat. Just a perfect location where we built wonderful family memories.
