Cabin holiday rentals in McCaysville

We have rented many cabins in the mountains and this by far was our very favorite! The kiddos were never bored…there was so much for them to do! Our host Kati is amazing! She is so so helpful and so quick to respond with any needs we had !! She went above and beyond and was very helpful with requests !! We absolutely will be back !!

Jennifer's place is one of the best AirBnb's we have stayed. She has everything you could imagine in the kithcen for cooking, as well as an "emergency box" in case needed! She is a very responsive host, making sure you have everything you need. Her house is on a private lot on the creek. We caught many trout in the three creek acess points on her property. There is even a blad eagle that lives in the area that you can see daily flying along the creek and fishing. If you enjoy the outdoors this is a place for you! Plenty of games and puzzles if you have a few rainy hours during the day! Two swings, one on the upper deck and one on the lower deck and a great firepit with lots of comfortable chairs! McCaysville is only 5 minutes away to grab food or groceries! Jennifer is a great host and responds literally within minutes to your questions!

If you're hesitating , this is your sign to book it! Jeffrey's home was truly magnificent. It looks beautiful in pictures, but when you see it in person there's a sense of magic and serenity that photos truly can't capture. Every detail of this rental has been very obviously curated and considered: furnishings and amenities, exceptional cleanliness, and a very thoughtful and helpful guest guide. We ended up scrapping some of our planned outings because we enjoyed being in the house so much! The downstairs screened-in porch is phenomenal and perfect for just about every kind of relaxing you could want: reading on the swinging daybed, watching a game on TV, soaking in the spotlessly clean hot tub, and doing puzzles on the oversized table (with room to eat, too!). Also of note: the outdoor fire pit (complete with provided firewood & a s'mores kit), the stunning primary bath, and of course... the VIEWS. I've stayed in many AirBnBs over the years, but this one is truly a GEM! 5+ stars!

Beautiful cabin in a very peaceful location. It was exactly what we were looking for, a place to relax, enjoy the hot tub and get away from the normal business of life. The cabin is very clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely go back. McCaysville has a nice downtown area by the river with good restaurants and shops which is a short drive from the cabin. Highly recommend this cabin!

It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend.

The location is lovely, with the view from the back deck being very relaxing, there was plently of sleeping space and room in the kitchen, the bathrooms were very clean and the host was extremely helpfull during our stay, responding to my inquiries quickly, I would definitely stay here again

Overall we had an amazing stay! The place was lovely with great views. The hot tub was very nice and very clean! All the beds were very comfortable! We had a couple minor issues during our stay that were addressed promptly. The water and ice dispenser from the refrigerator door were not working. Host supplied water jug and offered to pick up bags of ice for us. We had sporadic electrical issues. The host offered to send electrician that night but we opted to just go into town to eat that night and she was going to send an electrician the next day after we checked out. It was nice to have shampoo/ conditioner/body wash/ lotion in all bathrooms if you needed. About 30 minutes to get into town from the house. Blue Ridge downtown has great restaurants and shopping 😊

Such a beautiful home. The house is super spacious and equipped with a lot of fun outdoor activities like air hockey and a fire pit. We really enjoyed the very clean jacuzzi especially while enjoying the spectacular the view from the deck. You can see the lake and the mountains in the distance. We really enjoyed our stay and loved that it was only a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge.

My family and I recently had a very nice stay at Erica's cabin. The cabin is large and very comfortable. It fulfilled all of our needs. The cabin is located on a 2 acre wooded lot and is close to town where we enjoyed eating at several of the restaurants. Erica was a responsive host with clear instructions and helpful suggestions. We would stay here again!

We had a fabulous time! Everything was super clean and Tom and Hillary answered any questions we had really quickly. The fire pit, screened porch and comfy beds had all of us wanting to come back. It was truly the perfect place!

We had a great time here! So peaceful! My husband and I loved all the fun games- we always had something to do. I highly recommend buying light-up golf balls for the putting green. It makes for a fun evening activity! The cabin had everything we needed (including a few things we forgot), and we could easily reach Blue Ridge and Ellijay to go shopping and wander around. Max was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our trip. We would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing view, comfy beds, great location!! Secluded feel but the grocery store and much more is a short drive away. Honestly I could’ve sat on the back porch and looked at the mountains and river all day. The pool was a nice spot, well done little area. My daughter enjoyed the little playground. Happy we booked this place!

It was absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing!!! It’s our second year coming out here and we’ll definitely be back next year! Matt was by far the best host anyone could ask for! He responded quick every single time we needed anything. If you want to book a mountain cabin this is the one!!!

Views were incredibly beautiful and visible from almost anywhere in the house. Everything was clean and comfortable. Area surrounding was so pretty and very private. Host was also very clear and responsive

We had a great time at this cabin for our honey moon. It has everything we needed for some peaceful alone time away!

This cabin was very carefully designed for peace, comfort, and relaxation. Everything was very clean. The roads were easily accessible and very close to the town.

We had a great time! Beautiful space, great windows and lots of light. Great layout for 2 couples. Beds were super comfy. The deck is amazing we spent most of the time sitting outside drinking and grilling. Played a few games of connect four. Game room was also fun. Location was great very private outside space but not to secluded. We went kayaking near by , local river outfitter only 10 mins away. And great hiking near by. We definitely will be back.

This cabin was just as described. We enjoyed the screened porch, which was very cozy during the rain. We took the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad to Copper Hill TN. We ate at Circle J (very nostalgic of Ryan’s and Quincy’s family steakhouses) for dinner and Mountain Mama for breakfast. The winners of Cupcake Wars have a bakery in downtown Blue Ridge, and of course it was delicious. We spent a lot of time at Deaf Man Records. I only wish we had a few more days to enjoy the cabin!

We loved our stay at the Rustic Fox! Amazing space for our group (two couples and a toddler). Hot tub was hot when we arrived which was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed.

We loved our stay at killer view cabin! I celebrated my birthday here with a few close friends and we all did not want to leave. The views were breathtaking and the cabin was so comfortable and had everything we needed! We hope to come back as it was truly a special stay. Jennifer was such a responsive and kind host too! 10/10 recommend!

This was a great place to stay! Clean, great amenities, and Colleen was on point with communication. It’s very peaceful and out of the way, but still close to the town. If you’re in the area for the train ride or anything else, definitely stay here. A+

We enjoyed our weekend at Brown Trout Lodge. We mainly spent our time on the side porch listening to the rain & sounds of the river. It was super peaceful and better than expected. The place was a little further off of the beaten path than expected and my car struggled getting up the steep gravel driveway but we made it work. I would definitely stay again!

Literally home away from home! Just about anything you could possibly need is here! We brought clothes, food and fishing poles, that’s it and we lived just like we would at home for our whole stay. Kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies, utensils and spices, bathrooms were clean and also well stocked. This host really has given so much thought and attention to providing an exceptional guest experience! Overall just a great property and we will definitely come back to this one!
