Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Matulji

Villa Ursa is located right in the heart of a small village. However a tall fence provides a sense of privacy. We visited at the beginning of June and there was almost no people in the village which for us was ideal as we enjoy peace and quiet above else (Lana informed us that during summer season it is a completely different story so have that in mind if you are visiting during July or August). You have a heated indoor pool and as the posting mentions a beach bar with a nice coastline just 10 min walk from the Villa (for us the sea was warm enough to swim in but a lot of people did not go into the water). Inside of the Villa looks modern and traditional at the same time which gives it a nice aesthetic. Lana was a kind host who welcomed us with a local wine bottle, freshly baked bread and a meat platter. We really enjoyed our stay and it is highly likely that we will visit again.

If you demand the finest, this house represents the pinnacle. The house is everything you see in the pictures and then some. You can feel the heart that has gone into restoring this house while preserving the soul of the architecture. The design and furnishings are luxurious and complements the house in a unique way. Even the little detailed touches and details are provided for, including toiletries, high-end bedding and towels. The kitchens are fully stacked: both inside and outside. While Istria has a lot of small coves and deserted beaches with cristal clear waters to offer, the decking beach in Moscenicka Draga is an exclusive way of experiencing the best of what Croatia has to offer from a beach perspective. Last but not least: Tanja and Oliver are top hosts. They are easy to communicate with, and does everything in their power to make sure, that your stay is truly a five-star experience. We loved this apartment!! We were only here 1 night and it was raining so we couldn’t fully enjoy the beautiful patio at the house. We sat outside under a covered area for an hour but it would have been incredible on a beautiful day! The house is exactly as pictured and described. My daughter absolutely loved this house due to all of the pink and purple accents. Due to some road closures, we got turned around a little bit. Ingo was very responsive and quickly helped us find our way. She was waiting outside to greet us when we arrived. She had lots of amenities. Dish soap, dishwasher, tabs, laundry, detergent, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, towel, towels, extra blankets… she even left a bunch of Easter eggs for my three children!! It is outside of the city center, but it was an excellent value. Two adults and three children slept comfortably. Thank you Inga!

Staying at the cottage was amazing, felt like we were there for weeks because it felt like home. The place is spacious and has everything you need for a cozy nature getaway. The location is perfect, short drives to hiking paths, the sea and the city. Mirna is a lovely host so definitely 100% recommend this place.

Our family of four had a great week at Maya‘s guesthouse. We loved the private backyard with nice garden, heated pool and jacuzzi. The small house has everything we needed and there is a good outdoor kitchen as well. The beach is a few minutes away and at least in fall there are good chances that you have it for yourself. There are hiking trails to the secluded northern part of the island steps away from the house as well. The communication with Maja is easy and very friendly.

Perfect Workation Spot with Amazing Hospitality! We had an incredible stay at Oliver's place! The accommodation was clean, stylish, and super comfortable – everything we needed for a relaxing and productive visit. We were doing a workation, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy to stay connected and get work done without any issues. It was the perfect balance of work and leisure. The pool was definitely a highlight – clean, refreshing, and a great way to unwind after work hours. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality of our host. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. We received honey snaps and fresh picked cherries. One two evenings, we even grilled together with the host, which was such a fun and unexpected highlight. It felt like staying with friends rather than just booking a place. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

Great little place for a few days in Pula. Quite clean and responsive hosts. In the kitchen, it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. Due to the proximity of the owners property- there’s a little less privacy. Otherwise, really cute place and worth the price.

The surroundings were beautiful but quiet. From the apartment we could easily get to the island or the nearby village of crikvincia. You will need a car for this. The apartment was very large and super clean. There were plenty of towels provided for all of us. The beds were great. We slept well. Air conditioning was also great. And certainly no unnecessary luxury in the summer. It was very hot. We have often gone to the nearby bay for cooling off. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchens and the garden and the mini swimming pool where there was always free apperative. That was very surprising and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We like to come back ❤️

Beautifully furnished apartment, modern with everything you need even for a long vacation. Although I couldn't find the hairdryer. Coffee maker, sugar and juice! Everything I needed for one night. Too bad I didn't have more time!

We spent just over two weeks in this great place and felt at home from the first moment. The apartment is really well equipped and was ideal for us as a family. Nice night in a very quiet neighborhood. The only downside is that dogs are not allowed in the garden, and the neighborhood is not ideal for walking them. There are many houses that have a dog and you can't pass by without waking everyone up...

everything was nice, we appreciated the respect for environment, all the location, the comfortable beds, the great garden and the whole Southern region of Slovenia, full of nature and beauty

We spent our five nights in one of the wooden cabins and were able to enjoy the togetherness, nature and tranquility together with our dog. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed to take care of us over the period. Miki was available to us at all times and was very helpful (picking up firewood, round recommendations, etc.) Her hospitable nature showed Miki and his partner above all by bringing us local apple juice from the neighboring village. All in all, a very successful stay to unwind and feel comfortable. We highly recommend this place.

I stayed 3 nights in the accommodation and felt very welcome right away! The host is very warm and helpful, everything is exactly as shown in the pictures and in the information. Very quiet area and ideal for nature lovers! I can also highly recommend taking a tour on the host's boat on the nearby lake. All around a great experience, thank you!

Nothing to add about Emil's cottage, very beautiful, well thought out, warm. It is an energy self-sufficient home which means that you have to be vigilant about your consumption and plan ahead. But Emil's instructions are very clear and it's very interesting. As for the environment, this forest of beech and fir trees is beautiful. We regret only staying 3 nights! If you go and you love the forest, stay longer. Hvala lepa Emil!

My partner and I were Miki's guests for only 2 nights but with great regret because the place was worth a longer stop. If you want a real dip in the nature and tranquility of a remote place but without sacrificing the comforts of accommodations and amenities (everything is very new and well functional) then it is the place for you! We thank our host Miki and his daughter for the attention to detail, the delicious hospitality they offered us, we will definitely be back!

We were greeted by Bruno and his family who showed us all the details of their beautiful cabin in perfect Italian and with the utmost kindness. The cabin, very clean and perfectly equipped, is immersed in a dense beech forest with other houses around that keep company. A stone's throw away is the Sviščaki retreat that runs as a trattoria and a bar with a children's playground nearby. Nearby are a few mountain trails immersed in the woods, almost all easily accessible. In short, there were four of us plus a two-year-old girl and we had a beautiful quiet vacation in the middle of nature. Thank you Bruno.
