Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Matagorda Bay

We loved our stay at the beach house! It was a perfect location right across from the beach. Some of our party went fishing, while the rest of us stayed at the house and enjoyed the views. They had tons of beach stuff and fun games in the garage, so that was a bonus!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beachfront Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect — right on the beach with stunning ocean views that we enjoyed every morning and evening. It was peaceful, relaxing, and just what we were hoping for. What made this stay even more special was the host’s personal touch. We were celebrating my granddaughter’s birthday, and the host went out of their way to make it memorable by putting up a “Happy Birthday” banner just for her. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel incredibly welcome and appreciated. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable and had amazing views to wake up to. We can’t thank the host enough for their hospitality and attention to detail. We had a wonderful time!! My family love the pool and we were able to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from high school. We really enjoyed our stay!!

This was our second time visiting. Great location, clean home, amenities were as described and more. Also, great local beaches for kids to swim and fish.

I had to reschedule our trip twice and it was super easy both times. Melissa was very responsive and the house was just as described. The location can’t be beat! We will definitely stay again!

We had a great stay. The house was very clean really is a 1 minute walk to the beach! Communication with the owner was fantastic. House had everything we needed.

Adorable beach house in THE BEST location!! Literally a walk through the backyard and over a bridge through the dunes to the beach!! Loved that we shared this area with a few families that rented on the same row. Almost like having a private beach at times. The host was always super friendly in her communication! Will definitely consider rebooking this property if ever back in Surfside 🏖️

We loved our Turtle Bay Retreat getaway! The home was very comfortable, and the host provided all the amenities for a bay front home. Unfortunately we didn't catch anything worth preparing, but we could have if we did! The outdoor grill and griddle were great for cooking our meals. We would have liked to have used the provided crab pot, but we didn't have the chance. Oh well, next time. We are already talking about going another time soon. Host was very kind and responded to my many inquiries very quickly.

Marianne and her husband were fantastic hosts! We really enjoyed our stay, we had a relaxing weekend. The area is very peaceful and calm. My kids and I really liked the area to fish and hang out at the beach.

We enjoyed a relaxing time at Michelle's. It was a perfect spot for us from which to make excursions to local birding hotspots such as Aransas and Goose Island, where we saw whooping cranes and way over 50 other species of bird, so we had a great time, as we are avid birdwatchers.

Perfect spot for a fishing trip on San Antonio Bay. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Super quiet and friendly neighborhood. Easy stay, which was what I needed.

We had an Amazing time, I will say because we are so close to the beach the mosquitos can be quite bad so bring a repellent and your like new again! Pictures do not do justice to the room. bigger than expected and very nice. I would definitely come back. Nora was a great host and also the co host was next door and super helpful! very quiet and peaceful ☺️

Very spacious and extremely clean. Excellent location with bay view and very short walk to the seawall. Kids loved the shower! Definitely rent again.

Tom's place far exceeded our expectations. Tom is a great communicator, the instructions were precise and worked, and we had absolutely zero problems or issues. The condo is in a great location, was the cleanest airbnb we have ever used, and we could not be happier - we will be back! Thanks, Tom!

Great location!! Close to places to walk too on the beach. WiFi worked perfectly and there was just enough of everything for the weekend. Can’t wait to go back!

Great spot and very close to the beach. The condo was surprisingly spacious. Lots of amenities. We experienced some minor hiccups, but no significant issues at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
