Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Maroondah City

I stayed at the place for 5 days. Harvey was very professional and he communicated well right from the start of the booking till we vacated the property. Property was kept very clean and had good space and outdoor area for kids to play. Property was a walkable distance to shopping center. Good place, quiet area, clean.

This property is situated in an amazing spot close to shopping districts, such as Eastland, facilities including Aquanation and quick access to the city via Eastlink or public transport. The hosts were easily contactable and provided support when needed.

Betty was a very responsive host with very quick replies, which gave a peace of mind when I have questions and need fast answers. The location was great and peaceful, even though there was a train track with regular trains passing through. The house was spacious and the third room was separated in another small guesthouse. As we were there in early winter, the toilets were very cold with no heating in the floor and wind entered through the windows. Would suggest improving the toilet in the main house, as there were 2 water taps with hot and cold water separated, hence it was difficult to wash hands with the right temperature. Also, really love the private carport to park our car safely near the house instead of street parking. There was also a Woolworths within 10 mins' walk. No bottled water was provided so best to get your own!

Very comfortable home for 5 adults with 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms inc 2 ensuites & 4 toilets! Donna was a great host responsive and friendly. The house is at the back of a long drive with double garage that opens directly into the house. Very handy for the rainy days we had. A home away from home with plenty of room. Location is great 5min from Eastland and plenty of other close shopping about. Thanks!

This home is very clean and very new, the balcony is spacious, the house owner is very friendly, the surrounding facilities are full, the environment is beautiful, there are big parks, close to shopping malls, food shopping, cinema.Highly recommended.

We booked this stunning Airbnb in Sassafras, VIC for our parents and it turned out to be one of the best stays they’ve ever experienced. The property had breathtaking forest views, and every detail was luxury—from the decor to the amenities. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful. My parents were warmly welcomed with a beautiful basket of continental breakfast filled with generous extras, along with snacks, drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages that truly made them feel pampered. The space was spotless, serene, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway. My mum was over the moon, and my dad kept saying how impressed he was with everything. The care and attention the hosts gave was unmatched. They’ve already decided to return again soon. We’re really grateful to the hosts for making their stay so special.

Very nice unit in a big housing complex, though very quiet and private. I have been in the same building before, privacy is different from unit to unit. Been very clean and well equipped. Sharon and Ian have been super responsive and were very kind! I can only recommend them!

The apartment itself was stylish, cozy, and fully equipped with all the essentials (and more!), making it feel like a home away from home. The location was convenient and quiet, perfect for exploring while still being able to unwind at the end of the day. What really stood out was their communication; they were incredibly responsive, kind, and attentive to our needs, which made the whole experience even better. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their guests. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Melbourne. A definite must-return!

Andrew was the perfect host - he was super helpful, responsive and offered to stay up late in case I had issues getting in, given my late arrival time. Communication was great and very open to helping where possible. The apartment itself was lovely and views were fantastic being on the top floor. You could still hear a lot of the traffic and trams however so perhaps bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper but otherwise not a big deal, just one of the things about being in an urban area. I was there for work so was a very quick stay but it was a close walk for where I needed to be which was great, thanks for having me Andrew and being a fantastic host!

We felt very cosy in this apartment due to the great couch, comfortable bed, terrific heater in the bedroom and nice decor as well as really clean throughout. The kitchen is well appointed and the bathroom has good shelf space and a really hot and good pressure shower.

This is a great place, great location, very clean. Relaxing view, pool, spa and sauna. Would definitely recommend to others.

Kate's cosy apartment was super good. Restaurants, theaters, great shopping, transport and even parks all really close by. Really close. Great shower, comfy bed, and so many thoughtful extras that I never expected. Thanks Kate for a wonderful week.

My wife and I had great 5 day stay. Amanda was a great host and clear with her instructions. The unit is in a fantastic position, ultra quiet and close to all you need to do in Melbourne without the hustle and bustle of staying in the CBD. I’m glad to have stayed at Aster’s place once again—this time at a different listing. The location was incredibly convenient, situated right opposite Southern Cross Station, which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. With trams just around the corner, exploring the city was easy and accessible. It was a smooth and pleasant stay overall, and I’ll happily choose Aster’s place again the next time I’m in Melbourne.
